Giorgio Italian Restaurant - จิออร์จิโอ อาหารอิตาเลี่ยน - Italian restaurant in Chiang Mai, Thailand
Very good food in a typical trattoria, good service, moderate price. If you’re looking for Italian food in chiang mai, this is the place!
Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. So convienent as well.
We love this place the food is brilliant and everytime we have been its never disappointed us. My daughter loved the margarita half and we had the seafood half both were lovely.
Very good Italian food in nice enviroment and with good service. Will definitely go there again when Im back in the city.
We visited as 2 couple. All 4 dishes were good to excellent. Nice Ambiente. Delicious deserts. A heartyfelt recommendation.
Among the best pizza places in Chiang Mai. We ordered 2 pizza, 1 pasta and a tiramisu. We have had better pizza and pasta in Chiang Mai (but not from the same place though). Quattro stagioni is better than a four cheese. They have 4 toppings ham, artichoke and salami are good but not the mushrooms. Their pizza nor pasta do not look photogenic. They taste better than their look though.
Excellent and fine Italian food, professional staff, one of the best in Chiang mai
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great Service. I think its a GREAT PLACE!!!!.HIGHLY Recommended.
Nice italian food, vegetarian is possible, good wine, feel more good vibe after sunset
Everything was great! Just the kind of Italian dining experience we were looking for.
Honestly, I had pretty high hopes for this place. They had a nice menu, decent setting.. But the food was... I dont know, kind of silly. Rediculous amounts of cheese, way too much oil, and just seemed a bit overwhelming. It felt like Italian thru the eyes of a young person. Lacking the elegance and maturity of what I consider true Italian. Felt more like a greeay spoon, than fine dining.
Amazing italian food - not for being in Thailand, but in general. The Diavolo pizza was incredible - crispy, salty, and made better by adding crushed red pepper flakes. The pesto pasta was herby and not oily. I was able to add 6 shrimp for 100 baht. The house wine was good enough. We loved dining here!
Absolutely Loves this place❤ the food is amazing! Seriously..never had that tasty food in any other Italian resto. Book early cuz this place is always full.
Very very good Italian food. Better than I can find in Bangkok. Must come.
Good Italian restaurant with many great dishes to choose from. I would say its on par with other similar restaurants in town. I would go back!!
Genuin Italian food in a cozy restaurant amazing the terrace and the garden outside were you can enjoy the fresh tasting menu Pasta always al dente , premium product
Yes good food, but served on COLD plates!? So my vegetables were stone cold by the time they got to my table, I couldnt eat them. Top restaurants should know better than this. Great pizza though. House wine awful.
Absolutely fantastic! Best Italian food Ive had in Asia. This place is a must go when in Chiang Mai! I recommend the pasta stuff with truffles, and delicious Italian style pizza. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner; nice guy 🙂
I liked the food. As for Thailand, good option for pasta
Amazing food served here, pizza was lovely!
Great tasting Italian food, my girlfriend was obsessed with the pizza and we ordered it a couple times. The prices are high compared to Thai food at other restaurants but that is expected for any western food in this region of the world. Portion sizes are a little on the small side I would say, too.
Big menu, friendly staff.our pasta wasnt hot and the pasta was inconsistent. some of it was under cooked.
Nice food. Good atmosphere. would return
Good food very kind of people
Very good Italian food goog service reasonable price
Very delicious 😋
An Italian restaurant in the heart of Chiang Mai. Great food. Great services
We absolutely love this place! We been back four times :)! They incorporate some of the Thai spice with the sauces! Very child friendly! Nice variety of wine. Only suggestion would be to keep the bread coming :)!!!
Worth every Bath you spend here on the food...and a wonderful change from amazing Thai food in case you need a slight change in tastes !!!!
Delicious spaghetti dishes, reasonable prices. Little difficult to hear yourself speak if its busy
I was skeptical about an Italian restaurant in Chiang Mai, having tried the other one nearby (Romawhich failed to impress. I had the raviolis on the special menu in butter and sage sauce and it was very good. The insalata mista was dressed at the table and extra fresh. I order the Chianti to be safe, and it was very drinkable, so if you can go with red that would be my advice. Altogether a very good experience, I plan to go back.
One of the top western food restaurants in Chiang Mai. Italian food like I would expect in Florence served by an attentive staff.
Cozy Italian restuarant food quality is not bad too thou might be a bit pricey as compared to other local foods.
A quaint little Italian restaurant. When we went it was pretty much a full house.I give this place a 4/5 stars. Why not 5 stars? For me 5 stars is a perfect score, which I always reserve in hopes of finding a restaurant that blows my mind in every conceivable category. Dont get me wrong, Giogios did a great job.We were entered the establishment we were greeted nicely by the staff and brought to a table. The decor was cozy, with sufficient lighting, but not too much to be obnoxious. The only obnoxious thing was a gentlemen sitting behind us who wouldnt stop yabbering about business to the group he was with, but im just ranting right now.We were provided a complimentary bruschetta starter which was a nice touch and tasted good. My only criticism for this was that the bread was a bit soggy from the oil/tomatoes.We ordered a house glass of wine and a prosciutto with melon starter. The wine was a good portion and tasted pretty good. The prosciutto was also very tasty- good job.For the mains, we had a pizza and a duck fettuccine. The pizza tasted good, but ill be honest and say it doesnt compare to some Ive had in my lifetime. But, please dont put you off from trying it.The fettuccine was pretty standard. It didnt have much of a wow-factor, but it was cooked well, so I cant complain as it seems some restaurants cant even cook pasta a lot of the time.
Absolutely appalled at the service we received last night. My husband ordered a pasta where the ingredients were written on the menu prior to ordering. Upon receiving he realized there were onions in it, and he cannot eat onions. the onions were raw and uncooked, along with the pizza we ordered where they just threw raw basil leaves on top rather than cooking them. He apologized to the waiter, and he took the pasta away and didn’t offer us anything in replacement of it, or to even cook another one without onions. It came time for the bill, the pasta was still on the bill. He hadn’t touched his food, if we knew we would be charged for it I would have taken it home my self. The owner came and insisted we pay because “crab is very expensive. What am I supposed to do with the plate now?” He refused and refused to remove it from the bill until the police were called. We waited 30 minutes with no police, so we called ourselves. He then FINALLY removed it from the bill when another customer sitting offered he would pay on his behalf. We paid for the pizza and salad we ate and finally left. I’ve never experienced customer service like this before, and this explains why the restaurant was near empty the entire night. Would not recommend to a single person solely based on the rudeness of the owner.
I love the quality of the food. High class Italien.
Great Italian food
not bad for Chiang Mai.Good pasta, pizza not bad, ok salad right price.
Unique Italian restaurant where owner could be in touch with you and create special homemade dish as you like. Superp pizza and pasta inexpensive price.
Such delicious wine, brucetta, pasta, and chicken. Would come back in a heartbeat for this food!
Excellent food. Cosy vibe. Always busy as food is consistently great! Something for everyone and a generous portion size. Not much for children as implied in other reviews but service was quick.
Nice Italian food and a good selection of wine. Personnel very friendly and reasonable price.
Very large menu, so many choices. Very busy, best book a table.
Great thin crust Hawaiian pizza. Wish we ordered two, but that would put us over our sensible budget. 250baht. We will save up and return.
Here its my new favorite Italian restaurant!!! Food serve fast and good service..Yummy!!!
Very poor value for money, I had a ravioli dish that was tiny, appetizer size, costing 280 baht. Staff were unhelpful and rude when confronted with my complaints about the size of the dish. Very much a rip off place!
very good italian food
Very good antipasta & spaghetti, nice wine and pleasant service. Price very fair for the quality of the food. Worth a visit.
Good italian restaurant in town. Some staff seems implicitly impolite.I will give a second chance later.
Had an excellent pasta here made with duck, cream and mushrooms. Good service and very good menu.
