Incredible service and delicious food. They hosted a Muratie Wine and food pairing experience- loved it!

Great atmosphere and food was good, but portion sizes are unfortunately not consistent. I was apart of a group and most people had the lamb shank... But mine was literally half the size of the others, same price... Was very disappointing.

Superb food, huge compliments to the chef. The atmosphere relaxed yet with understated class. Service by the well trained staff, especially David, who served us, absolutely great. Setting with the ocean right next to the restaurant idyllic. Food and wine pairing recommendations something to adhere to. Overall magnificent experience.

The service was amazing, from the minute you walk in the door to the table it was great. Waiters are very attentive. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was good!!! Definitely coming back.

This is our 3rd visit to Ginger. We first visited a while ago and it was a "normal" upmarket dinning experience. The staff were trained but average service ...... Last night my wife and I returned and were service by "Z" who was brilliant she was informative and very helpful. The food was brilliant and the ambience was perfect. The wait for the food was not long and the presentation exceptional. The wine selection is above normal and the deserts are decadent. A must try is the Chilli and Chocolate Don Pedro.We will return asap.

Nice food but for the price... You can get better seafood at off the hook and red meat at Muse. Food and atmosphere was good, but not fine dining standards.

We have most of our business meetings here, the place is very elegant and clean, the food is amazing, the staff is brilliant... Everything about this place is worth every cent. I absolutely love Ginger.

Fine dining experience is experienced at the expense of the emotional wellbeing of some employees, my niece worked there and is yet to recover from the financial and emotional exploitation, terrible establishment by my knowledge lacking of moral and ethical presence.

Pretentious and overpriced. Ive had a better steak from Spur. Almost an hour wait between starters and main. Uncomfortable chairs. Avoid

Ginger never disappoints! The service is superb and the food is excellent, every time. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, and be sure to have a pleasant experience.

Its pretty pricey but the food is absolutely outstanding service was superb! Dress up for dinner before you go here

Me and my boyfriend were very impressed with the quality of the delicious food and the lovely service provided by our server. It certainly was a great place to go to. The food was amazing, our server was amazing and its such a beautiful place to have a meal at.

Exceptional dining and exceptional aesthetics. Our waiter David made the experience even more memorable with his incredible service throughout the evening. Ginger is easily a contender for the best restaurant in the Bay Area.

Love the View, Service was good as always, but a bit disappointed in the meal this time, but we had great meals on our previous visits.

Lovely visit to this restaurant over looking the beachfront. The food, its presentation and service was high class. A welcoming and very knowledgeable management. If you wish to give your loved one a special treat Ginger is the place.

A very enjoyable experience.Delicious food. Good service and venue.I enjoyed the amuse bouche.Even the cocktail was almost too pretty to drink.Would be great for date night.Expensive though but at least it’s worth paying for.

Great overall experience and tasty, well-presented food.The Peppered balsamic beef steak, pear and gorgonzola salad & Grilled lamb rump especially was good.Cant wait to return.

Nice fine dining experience. Food is well-priced and quite tasty. Location is just perfect, right next to the Boardwalk and close to many other hotels in Summerstrand. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

Dining at Ginger was an amazing fine dining experience, they live upon the exceptional service that many describe. And we learnt so much when it came to a proper fine dining experience and in addition to the aesthetically pleasing and delectable dishes that were on offer, the service and the atmosphere was out of this world I am definitely coming back here sooner than they may expect.

This evening had a meal at Ginger restaurant but it was very dissapointing. Expensive price and the quality of the food was not good at all. The salmon and seafood platter was tasteless. Spoke to manager but she insisted the salmon was one of the best meals on the menu. No discount or cup of coffee for a dissapointing meal.

Ginger the Restaurant is fantastic. Good service, friendly, clearly information and amazing show. They have a good menu description could even convince a hesitant us to try something new. I am appreciate my dish, Grilled scallop and mussel linguine ‼️ wow very rich of flavor. I won’t forget my dessert today is very amazing and classic recipe. Crepes Suzette, classic crepes flambeed at the table with cointreau, brandy and star anise served with Homemade Vanilla pod ice cream… huuu G.O.A.T.👍👍👍Thanks for the amazing show🙏❤️❤️❤️

The service is good, the bathrooms are amazingly clean and beautiful. It has a beautifully hanging chandelier too. Very classy and affordable prices.

The Ginger Restaurant is one of the best restaurants and situated in The Beach hotel. Beautiful restaurant with lovely views. A fantastic menu and food was delicious. Quality wines and friendliest and helpful personnel. Will always go there when we visit Port Elizabeth again. Definitely a must to go there.

My husband and I had lunch here on a weekday and dinner on another day.For me This is one of the best fine dining restaurants in PEWe had a very friendly and efficient waitress - extremely helpful. Our dishes that we ordered were delish. We were disappointed that the lunch menu was so limited.Cocktails were interesting and good.For dinner the food was absolutely delish, well beautifully plated. Once again the staff were amazing.

Fillet wasnt quite up to standards but salmon was good. Wine prices reasonable. Cocktails very tasty

The food is professionally prepared and packed with incredible flavor. Looking around the restaurant, one quickly notices that all guests are mesmerized with their food and experience at Ginger. Vegan dish Quinoa Stack was the best meal i have ever had at any restaurant. The flavors were complex and complimentary. Can’t wait to be in PE again to revisit Ginger restaurant.

Situated in Summerstrand PE ,overlooking the ocean. If you looking to dine in style, romantic dinners and a more formal setup this is definitely the place . Everything about them is upmarket, their food absolutely amazing........and not to mention their cocktail bar. If you in PE this is a definite must do.

excellent. just excellent!With David we had a very good and caring waiter. He even prepared the snails for us.The food is very good and nicely served. The mashed potatoes with truffles after the best I ever had. The dessert was the only thing we didnt like that much.I can fully recommend this restaurant.
