Giant Panda Conservation Centre - Zoo in Semenyih, Malaysia
Ticket price was very expensive but after read the information about Giant Panda,i change my mind...its very reasonable plus with all the zoo information there..it was great
Panda Cute so so much..Environment is wonderful. No any smells.Staff super Nice..
Two sleeping panda... Thats all ... Only good reason to enter is their air con... Staff Limit us to enter for 5 minutes only per visit... Sorry it took 30 secs to finish the place and left...
Do take the tram so that no need to walk for longCan considered bring scooterNot sure if allowed
The panda were super duper cute, the conservation is inside the zoo, update 2022 1ticket for the entire zoo to enjoy now not separate ticket, Save more money. The place was so huge and inside was so cold, you only have 5minute to take tour at the conservation due to many people
This is one of the best parts of Zoo Negara, providing a good environment for the Pandas.
Visiting time is up to 5 mins je. Coz cannot have many people inside the conservation centre at one time. So you may enjoy to see the pandas just for a while.Pandas is cute and adorable. The merchandise shop selling things with reasonable price. Ok² jela
Note : This is not a review for the conservatory. The thing I find humiliating is the cafe. The zoo has countless of visitors coming in. The cafe serves horrible food and it’s embarrassing for foreigners that had to endure lunch at places like this. Pls Zoo Negara, turun Padang and improve it. Food is disgustingly cold, menu is served without effort and overpriced.
The panda exhibit is perhaps the best exhibit in the Negara Zoo, mostly because of the pandas themselves. The animals are as cute as ever and look relatively well fed and maintained. The building is ok, but all the vacant unused rooms that were used to incubate, raise and care for pandas earlier leave a sad feeling. Wish more people start visiting this zoo.
The pandas are cute, and they slept all the time
We are here at Zoo Negara because of this Giant Panda. Arriving at Zoo early in the Morning. Parking easy maybe not so many people at his time. We walk around first then Panda Conservation. A very huge place and cold. Maybe because this make Panda feel like their home at China. We are given only half an hour. Taking some picture with Fu Wa and Feng Yi (Pandas nameand pf course their child Liang Liang.
Very recommended bring your kids. Tempat sgt bersih.
The best exhibit inside the zoo in my opinionCame there in the morning ehen the zoo just open to avoid long queueAll the pandas look healthy and active
Good Experienced and really love the zoo
Dulu fee lain. Sekarang masuk free. Maybe dah include dalam entrance fee zoo negara. All the pandas were asleep when we visited. I think the experience if walking thru the giant panda experience center can be made better and more interesting. I would love to see the staff playing with panda. Maybe? 😅
Great experience, owh please keep quiet and wear your mask.
Worth to pay a visit to see these 2 cutie panda. Wad told only allow 5 mins inside.
Really nice. The place has AC and 3 Pandas. When the animals dont sleep its really fun to look at them
The pandas are so cute! They are usually asleep when we come, but thats ok, because they sleep up where they are easily seen. Its nice and cool in the building as well. A must visit exhibit when visiting Zoo Negara!
Giant panda conservation area was bundled with main ticket now, suggest to buy ticket on klook to get discount. other than the panda, theres also a panda souvenir shop and panda cafe. the food in the panda cafe is average at best, and we arent even picky eaters.
Entrance fee is already included with Zoo Negaras ticket. Very informative place, spacious and the pandas looked happy.. Although probably theyre just lazying around.
Had a fun day. Kids happy and excited to see animals. I think lesser animals but varieties still OK. Get to see lion, bear, panda, tiger, elephant, giraffe, cheetah, and many more in a near distance.Went there during school holiday, so its quite crowded.Drinks and foods are very expensive.
Only given 5 mins to view panda, but it was okay as it is just enough time for me to view the 2 cute pandas. The funny thing is that the pandas got aircon while all the other animals were caged under the hot sun<3 Will visit there again with family!!
Mehh. Only allowed to go in for 5 minutes. The walk to reach the view of the panda takes around 2 and a half minutes due to crowds. Basically a drive thru.
A great place for family and kids. Good experience for my kids.He feel so happy see the panda 🐼 😊😊👍👍
Came specially to zoo negara. Lucky I came on a weekday hence little crowd. Managed to visit many of the animals. Love that able to get close to most of the animals. Saw both pandas in the conversavatory. Lucky they were not hidden, but sleeping peacefully.
Ok clean. Lucky when we were there, pandas actively played among them
Best place in the zoo. The pandas are enjoying the cool weather
Have done a great job taking care of the giant panda.
Free entry to see an absolutely adorable family of pandas in conservation, including a cute panda cub. 🐼The conservatory is inside Zoo Negara.Apparently a group of pandas is known as a bamboo or cupboard. Fun fact.
There are no staff guard and guide inside the conservation as sometimes crowd use flash and make noise and seem like nobody care about it. We need to protect the panda and the panda are very sensitive.
Best! They are cute and cuddly, unfortunately I cant touch them. Amazed by the effort of the staff to maintain the cleanliness of the facility. We can observe for 5 minutes without making any loud sound to ensure pandas in peace. You cant bring in food, hence, had to leave them at the entrance. Make sure to finish the food and drink before entering because the exit is at the different door. Not far from the entrance, but I need to walk uphill to get my food and drinks. At the exit, you can purchase pandas souvenirs and cafe is available too. Do come and visit them 🐼
Only 5 minutes you can enter here and dont make noise. Because will disturbing the panda. Their active at evening.
Great place to see pandas. There were 3 of them with one of them being active & munching on bamboo. My daughters were very excited to see live pandas
Personally, I think my trip to the Giant Panda Conservation, which is located right in the Malaysian National Zoo (a.k.a Zoo Negara), was absolutely nice. When you enter into the centre, you will be greeted by the cool breeze of air conditioning, which provides you with an escape from the heat of the outside. Then as you walk into the centre, there will be life size bear cut-outs where you can compare your size to theirs. There will be additional educational information on bears from all around the world too, while their skulls will be on display for everyone to see, which is extremely cool and interesting. After that, you will have to go down a fleet stairs, which will take you to the pandas. The pandas are so cute and fluffy, truly a sight to behold. When observing the pandas, it is to be noted that you should not make much noise and that you should not use flash when taking photos.Nonetheless, these restrictions didnt stop me from enjoying the pandas at a somewhat close distance. The pandas can be seen eating, playing around, and sleeping. They are exotic and wonderful animals, that definitely deserve our attention. Before leaving the centre, there will be observatories where you can see and learn how the pandas food is made, how their babies are taken care of, and so on. There will be a restaurant for hungry guest to dine too, and the food there seems to be very delicious judging from the smell and the looks. This conservation centre is definitely a must visit for everyone, especially children. I totally recommend it without doubt, afterall, how many chances will you get to see pandas comfortably?Hope this review helps, thanks for reading!
Quite good to see so many pandas locally. However visiting time is limited to 5 mins only which is abit short.
Well kept Panda Conservation center. Had a chance the view the 2 adult Panda but missed the young Panda. Feeding time is 11.30am. Missed that.
Love it here. My daughter also love look at the baby panda and mommy. Not crowded maybe because on weekdays ☺️If you take tram need to walk around 200m to reach here
I loved the panda conservatory. I didnt realize how active they could be. 1 of the pandas was prancing around giving everyone a show. The airconditioned enclosure was a respite from the heat outside. Wish they gave us more than 5 mins in there
My baby was so happy. One of the most perfect scene is to pass the early knowledge to the next generations. I havent seen a panda until i reach 25. Start them young, these might get extinct. Good thing, the pandas are well taken care of. You can see it in pandas movements. Mostly they felt homie.IG: corinthsamantha
Good place to observe the Panda in person. No strollers allowed inside the building. It can be safely leave outside the entrance.
Awesome experience with the Zoo and Pandas. You only can spend 10 minutes max to watch the Pandas wiggling around.Well manage by staff at the outside ensuring visitor follow SOP, not to bring any food and baby stroller. There is a lot of goodies and sourvenir Pandas related at the shop you can buy.
The Giant Panda Conservation Centre is quite an interesting spot and the most crowd attracted place in the premise. The staff at this centre really taking care of the SOPs. Only 10 minutes are allowed to avoid crowds, especially on weekends. We were shortly briefed before allowing to enter and see the panda, advices such as not using flash when taking pictures and not making any noises were given by the staff. This place is well maintained, clean and cool. We got to see the pandas having fun playing, walking and sleeping. There are 3 pandas including one cute baby panda here in our National Zoo. There were also souvenir and gift shop inside the centre with lots of cute panda thingy. Washroom and cafe also located at the end of the panda centre.
Cannot help but to think what a waste to spend money on the air conditioner, but if not we wont get to see real pandas. Haha. The small bottle mineral water is RM5.
Nice zoo in the city, the place not too big, but will spend you whole day to visit and see all animals..Like this two panda, they are very funny..The animals is complete enough to show to your kids..But some place seems never get maintained, rubbish unhandled..
Apparently they are sending back to China very soon. The zoo overall has improve very much. Worth a visit at the price they are offering. Police officers are there to randomly walk around and ensure everyone wear their mask. They are very friendly and good.Zoo has plenty of animals. Besides the aquarium and butterfly farm is a bit smaller than expected, there rest are really good. Plenty of big trees so it is not really that hot to walk around but go in the morning. The air is fresh and u will see lots of birds flying around.
Nice and cooling place, fit even for human to stay there for long time, our panda ambassadors are so lucky and must be very well taken care of in there. Look at how happy the panda baby cub is!
Well kept enclosure for panda. It was clean and comfortable with air conditioing. Kids are excited to see the real panda closely & can gain some knowledge about the panda.
It was a family trip on weekday afternoon during school holiday. Parked at Parking C which requires some walking towards the entrance but not too bad.Ticketing counter staff was fast though no smily, could be a tiring day as it is holiday period.Started the visit with photography session, they were fast and friendly.Visited the big cats and surprisingly they were active and it was a sight not to be missed, way better than my previous trip 5 years ago.The place was overall clean from litters but the bushes were overgrown, could further improve. The walkways are uneventful and can be unsuitable for young kids as chances for trip and fall. The elephants area was so beautiful (Instragramable!).We then visited the Giant Pandas, it was a great relief to go there as it is air-conditioned indoor complex. Food sold here are expensive! While we are about to conclude our visit in the Panda complex, it started to rain heavily, thunder storm. We along with many more visitors ended up waiting for the storm to calm down and it was nearing closing hour. To our shocking surprise, staff in charge (Ms.Kala if I got the name correctstarted to clear people out from the complex without considering the weather outside and despite many were there with very young kids & babies, and aged parents. It was half past the closing hour and there were no assistance to bring the stranded people out to the main gate, which is about > 1 km.Nevertheless, many other staff members working in the complex waited along with the visitors and tried to help in anyway they could like by providing large plastic bags and limited available umbrellas. We were glad that the zoo van started ferry people out at about 6:20pm.Other than the rude gesture by one staff, we enjoyed our days there though we missed visiting almost half of the place. Overall, the animals look better than before.
Me and my friend had a great day at Giant Panda Conservation Centre today. We were greeted by a group of friendly staffs which offers us to take a picture but we refused it since we are so excited to see the panda. We queued for about 5minutes before entering the fully air-conditioned area which located at the lower level of the building. The staff briefs us the do and donts in the conservation area. We need to leave our water bottle at the shelf located at the entrance. We got the chance to see the panda wake up, walk around their habitat while playing around, eat the food given by the staff.Everything was good and we went to panda cafe. The cupcake at the panda cafe was overprice. Its not worth it to pay RM 6 for a small cupcake decorated as a panda face. The souvenir also too expensive .
