Beautiful and peaceful
A gem in the middle of hustle city. Can come here for a nice walk or just to breathe the fresh air
Impressive place. The transportation inside is not included somehow
Its ~400 years old beautifully preserved and well maintained, culturally rich Buddhist temple...one of the best I have ever seen in whole South Asia.PS: not very busy on normal days and also its deep inside after crossing the main pagoda if anyone goes from road entry. We were about to miss but luckily while exploring till the last, we found it.

A few centuries-old Buddhist temple worth visiting for if u seek some mind cleansing & tranquility in this bustling city; the shops nearby selling delicious vegetarian foods!
The pagoda has a tranquil flora and fauna.
Peaceful and silent It make you relax after work😆
Really peaceful ambience. Monks chanting can be heard throughout the complex. Very friendly people here. Not sure if you can normally go up the Pagoda but stairs were closed off today.
Its big and beautiful temple.
This is a lovely temple that offers some quiet and tranquility in the middle of a chaotic city. Everyone here always seems welcoming and friendly. Easy, cheap parking for motorbikes.
The main 7 storey pagoda has different statues of Buddhas on each level.they are all brightly painted and the atmosphere is welcoming and serene. As all the shuttered windows were open there was a welcome breeze and far reaching city views..Turn left out of the pagoda and walk past the white female statue to the temple. Inside it is quite amazing. Outside there are 3 long dovecotes with cooing birds. Well worth the visit .
Giac Lam - Buddhist Pagoda [覺林寺 another way to write its name in Vietnamese old language]. This pagoda is a historic Buddhist pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam. Giac Lam Pagoda was built in 1744, Mr. Ly Thuy Long (a person from the Ming dynasty "An Old Chinese Country" to this country settledhad donated money to build this pagoda. Mr. Long invited the monk Vien Quang to be the 1st abbot and he managed this pagoda from 1744 until the pagoda was transferred to the other abbot, and it continued until the present time. This pagoda is one of the oldest pagodas in this city. It is located at 565 Lac Long Quan str., ward 10th, Tan Binh dist., Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Its a good place to visit in case youre into religious stuff.

Quiêt and peaceful agoda...where sacred & historical meet in one place.
Interesting place. Not so touristy.
Feel relaxing and concentration. Build your mine
I liked very much. It does not appear in the guides as a major attraction but our guide was inspired to propose us to visit this Buddhist temple. It is the oldest temple in Saigon, well maintained, full of ancient artifacts. I liked the authenticity of this place of prayer. And even if it wasnt a day of prayer, there were plenty of locals praying. And quite a lot of young people ... It is worth including in a day trip to Ho Chi Minh!
The most oldest pagoda in Saigon
Good place to visit. To know more about Buddha and Buddhism
Beautiful place to relax for a little bit.
They have very good price in bracelets. Somewhere else you find them even 10 times! And you help the monks.
Went there at night, the big Buddha was so mesmerized.
Great place to visit while u are in Vietnam.
Very nice atmosphere to sit there n do your reflection of life
This place is so lovely! Very quiet and we were allowed to walk upstairs to the top to have a great view of Saigon! We stayed here for an hour. Definitely worth it!
It was absolutely beautiful! I recommend at least visiting it
It is one of the beautiful ancestral hall of the people in Vietnam. Well maintain and serves as a gathering point for this particular speaking dialect in the saigon region.
The oldest pagoda in the city. It is a must to visit.
Great museum well worth the visit
This is a really quiet & peaceful place for you to relax
Good place to visit in HCMC. Other contributors reviews are accurate. Their photos said it all. Read their reviews.
Interesting place, full of history and heritage, main hall are kept in quite original condition.
Hot and busy, best to go with a guide.
This is an ancient pagoda with over 200 years. A spirituality place worth to visit
Quiet and tranquil area to stroll around and take in the history of the land
a beautiful pagoda... Relaxed place for tourist :D
A good pagoda. The main tower was closed so we didnt get a chance to go up. It may be worth trying to find out what days the tower is open before you visit as apparently there is a good view from the top. All around a good temple
A very peaceful pagoda, its also a very beautiful place for photography.
Impressive multi-level pagoda from the 18th century. Very nice staff. Compared to the hectic city, this place is unbelievably peaceful.
Old pagoda which built in 1744. Its nice and peace
Very historic and interesting temple to learn more about before visiting. Nice place to take an afternoon break or evening chanting.Pagoda is the general term for a tiered tower with multiple eaves, common in Asia outside of India. The ancient Indian Buddhist Stupa exported and recreated in many Asian counties is a "Pagoda." The Pagodas reason to exist is to house relics and sacred writings.
Ok
Old sprawling temple grounds with a school for monks on the grounds. It very much seemed to be a pagoda in use, and not just designed for picture taking. It isnt the most beautiful pagoda Ive seen, but it was worth a wonderful walk through the grounds seeing all the monks and nuns attending to their studies and maintaining the grounds.
