Gi-Gi's Italian Takeaway in Middlesbrough

Popped in for an 11" Maffiosa pizza tonight. Got a 9" pizza in an 11" box. Toppings were thin and sloppy. Not even cut properly, so ended up wearing it, too.First impressions last. On this first impression, they wont get a second chance.

Best pizza in Boro ,and had been for years . Fresh shop made dough , chili oil , and Gigi sauce make the shop stand out in a sea of cash and carry bought in bases.

Parmo was disgusting the chicken (what there was of it)was paper thin and so chewy my jaw was aching.never go back there again

Been in and out of here for 20+ years , Abdul and Tony are two top guys and look after everyone, the handmade pizzas are amazing great food with even better staff , Thank you very much !

So GI-GIspizzas are truly a taste of Italy, thin and fresh, without the grease of pan cooked pizzas that the majority of takeaways use.The result is that GI-GIs make one of the best pizzas in Middlesbrough. You wont be disappointed!The only bad experience Ive had and the reason for the 4 stars, is their parmos.When I picked it up, I was shocked to see it was in a small polystyrene container, and when I opened it, the parmo was rather small but worst of all, on top of the chips. Falling apart and sweating away within the plastic container. - Im not sure if they still do this, as Ive refused to order one since.

Local treasure. The same friendly faces (and decor - but never change!for the last 25 years and great pizzas. Always ready to have a chat and always good quality. Definitely go for the topo gigio and the post pub chatter. There are fancier pizza places in town but none that have the place in the community that this one has.

20 years on. Still slays. Excellent to see the boys tonight. Nothing has changed. Number one and nowhere comes close

Genuinely disgusting, I’ve never seen such sh**e quality chicken in a Parmo. Chicken was so poor even those not blessed with the gift of taste would slate it. Very disappointed.

Staff are very polite. Great pizza. and very good deals. I recommend to go!5 star! The parmos, kebabs and pizzas are very delicious

Im normally absolutely steaming when I enter this place so I feel it would be unfair to give it a poor review as I can never remember an awful lot about the place. But I keep on coming back after a mad night out in Boro so they must be doing something right. 5 stars.

This is by far the best Italian style pizza take away in teesside I have never seem disappointed in 20 yes of going there

Totally shocked that they would not do cheesey chips with bechemel sauce !! , they were happy to lose a large order over something so simple , wow great service NOT !!

BEST PIZZA ON EARTH

Ordered an 11 inch pollo which is just a chicken pizza. Got home to find out it was about 9 inches and they had covered it in red onion. Even after picking the onion off the taste was really strong

Couldn’t get the order correct and expected us to drive to correct their mistake

Garlic sauce was lovely, parmo had an insane amount of bechemal sauce. Pizza had very little cheese was otherwise nice. Terrible diarrhoea the following day sadly having eaten nothing else apart from the takeaway. Could only speculate as to the cause

Brothers and I got Pizza kebab parmo from there. Service was ok but food was horrible.Parmo overcooked and chewy.Pizza was bland and greasy. Kebab only ok thing.Would avoid and never go back again.
