Getty Street Grill in Muskegon

Food was very tasty, cooked just right, and served fast and hot. Servers were friendly, stopped by to check on us just the right amount and coffee was kept full. Very friendly courteous manager greeted us at the door and went out of his way to thank people for their patronage as they were leaving. Im from out of town but will make this a regular stop next time Im in town.

I have been going here for about 7 years and I absolutely LOVE the stuffed hashbrowns!! The service is amazing!

I have been a part of the Getty street grill community for many years, but today, I experience stereotyping. My husband and I were seated and waited for a server. Two other groups were sitting at adjacent tables, and my husband noticed they were being served before us. I received a business call. After my husband questioned why we were not being served, we were told by the owner and manager they do not help people when they are on a call. The manager specfically said the reason why is they are rude and wont get off the phone. If this is your policy, 1. it should be visible. 2. When you say they are rude, who are you referring to?This is a business world. The community takes care of business using technology even on a Sunday. Your job is to take orders and Serve food. We left and will never return.

The blueberry pancakes was okay but next time I’m trying the cinnamon swirl and request more syrup🤩

Getty Street Grill is a great place to get a great meal on a budgets. The pancakes are awesome, buy be forewarned, theyre huge.

Top rate service! We arrived just before 11am, and it was jumping but there was only a short wait (10 mins). The wait staff worked like a well oiled machine to make sure orders were taken, food was delivered hot, and coffee was refilled consistently. The food was delicious and generous portions. I had the cinnamon swirl pancakes and they were amazing, light fluffy. Highly recommneded!

The food is great but 1 of my chef salads did have ham and only 10 pieces of turkey on it the other 1 was beautiful

I called to order takeout was put on hold heard them talking and joking on the other end sat on hold for 13 mins by that time I was at the restaurant walked in to orders we as still on hold told them I was still on hold for 13 mins and they finally had the girl pick up and still had to order over the phone instead of face to face since I was already at the restaurant and was told its be 15- 20 more mins I am not happy with this experience very unprofessional and barely got an apology.

I love Getty St Grill! Such a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a great breakfast or lunch! The staff are super friendly and the owner is always so energetic and fun to be around. If you get a chance to eat at Getty St Grill, do it!

Ordered take out before getting on the hwy after Memorial day weekend...I looked in the bag and asked for utensils and condiments, cashier looks at me with an attitude and says "everything is in there"- got on the hwy with nothing to eat with, not all the condiments that I asked for...had to pull off and get things so the kids can eat. Food was ok..kind of cold.

I place an order over the phone and I asked for scrambler. Instead of the person taking my order saying we dont have a scrambler on our menu we have a scramble which is a sandwich. I would have told her thats not what I wanted. Instead of the on duty manager listening me about my problem is, she argued that we ordered the wrong thing and Getty street grill is not in the business of wasting food. She suggested I should read there menu better. I didnt ask for a refund. I ask the manager how is it fair for me if I ask for something thats not on the menu, like if go to burger King and ask for a big Mac. There gonna tell me to go to McDonalds. The manager was rude and argumentative. And hung up the phone B4 I could make my point. I understand that I asked for the wrong thing. Instead of coming to agreement Getty street grill lost a customer. I hope the owners reads this.

Horrible horrible horrible. Went to try it because Mr Bs was closed and never again. Rude service,horrible greasy disgusting food. Spent $40.00 on some garbage food I wouldnt give to my dog. Then the owners watching on cameras the workers, so creepy watching people eat and work. Ask for a to go for my $3.00 tea and they said no.....what a joke. Save your money and go to steak and egger blows this place out the water. No one said we wanted greasy oily food. Horrible

Great service, great portions. Only issue we had was Hostess who was seating people offered 2 different parties to sit at the large table in the back. These parties did not know each other and were obviously not together. Felt that was very odd. Especially with Covid just seeming to be getting over.Otherwise Rest of staff was AMAZING

It was good food but I asked for a cup of oatmeal (not even a bowlinstead of toast and they charged me the full price of the oatmeal and the breakfast. It was just way too expensive for what it was.

Was not to thrilled on the taste of food but they do good you a good fair share. Associates were very friendly and hot checked on often maybe due to not so many customers at that particular visit. Did not have chicken with rice soup I use to order anymore.

GREAT brunch spot! The food is delicious, portions are huge, and the price is right! Ron (the owner?is hilarious - give him a little sass and he’ll zip it right back at ya haha! But he’s also kind and gracious with every customer, so you know it’s just playful fun and it creates a fun environment. Our server Lindsey was wonderful and friendly. Coffee was always full and all our orders (8 peoplecame out correct! …so what more do you need to know? Just go here and get some tasty food already!

Great place to grab a bite to eat. Staff was fast and friendly. My cup was always full and the food was on point. I went with the recommendation of the stuffed hash browns and a slice of chocolate pie, and they were a good portion for the price.

They get and deserve five stars. They took only cash when we ate here years ago and it turned us off and we never came back until today. They do take cards now. Later in this review are notes that are intended to help potential customers in decision making, not to be negative. This is a clean restaurant with good and friendly service. Our coffee was never allowed to get less than half gone. We came in for breakfast on a Sunday morning as two couples. It was bustling but we were seated right away. I ordered the breakfast burrito. My husband ordered Stuffed Hashbrowns. Our friends ordered an omelet and country fried steak with sides of grits. We were all satisfied with food with two mild issues. The gravy on the steak was pretty bad, like something bought in a can. Ask for it on the side so you can decide for yourself if you like it or not. There was a mildly rancid flavor in my fried potatoes. Ketchup fixed it but made us wonder what caused it. Neither issue would cause us not to come back. Indeed we will. The bathrooms were both clean, but beware...not suitable for anyone larger than medium sized or disabled. Also, the toilets are very low to the floor and if someone has hip/knee issues, getting on and off will be a challenge.

We loved the coffee! Our server was friendly and made recommendation to try the stuffed hash brown. My husband and Grand daughter loved them. I got the farmers omelet with sausage gravy. The gravy was not my favorite and my potatoes were under cooked but this wouldnt stop me from trying something different as I loved the Mom and Pop feel to the place. Everything was hot and we loved the environment. We will be going back.

Very nice place. Every year when we come into town we eat there. Food is cooked fresher and served hot. Staff is very friendly and know their customers by name. Love It!
