Germany Pavilion - Tourist attraction in Buenaventura Lakes, United States
Germany Pavilion in Buenaventura Lakes
Description
Privilege
Huge pretzel is delicious. Also have German themed buffet.
Always good food here. German authentic food. The shows during dinner are also entertaining. They have a dance floor if you want to go down and dance a little bit. The decorations and ambiance of the dining hall is absolutely astounding. Makes you feel like youre really in a small German village during Octoberfest. You have to try the cheesecake. It is fluffy and very yummy. The desert area has a lot of variety. From the cold bar to the hot bar theres lots of choices. Even for the kids they have German hot dogs and then they have mac and cheese. Its actually good.
MoreWe love the Germany Pavilion, specifically the Biergarten. We miss the many clocks, stains, and other nice souvenirs.
MoreAlways enjoy coming here. A little saddened by the fact that they didnt have the Black Forest cake I always enjoy.
MoreThe architecture was beautiful, it was just as busy as Italy, otherwise we definitely wouldve stopped to have some beers. How can you walk through Germany and not drink beer right? I hear its amazing here for Oktoberfest, we didnt stay in the park late but next time I definitely want to check out the Germany pavilion later in the day.
MoreStill one of my all time favorite restaurants at Epcot, the buffet is awesome and hospitality is great! Feels like youre sitting in Germany!
MoreI go to Epcot just about every week. This was the first time I actually spent a few hours at this Pavillion. Food was fantastic. I enjoyed the beer gardens. 1st time enjoying German food. Good price for all you can eat buffet. I also enjoyed the Mozart Chocolate Liquor. Look forward to going back again.
MoreEveryone should try the grapefruit beer it is so delicious! It is $11 but worth it
MoreAs always the food is very good and the entertainment is excellent. I wish it wasnt so hard to get a reservation. A few years back I could get into the Beirgarten on a moments notice. Not so right now. They are still only seating one family per table.
MoreHad family dinner there. Food was fabulous. Gift shop has nice items in it as well.
MoreDid you know this Epcot pavilion was supposed to have a Rhine River attraction? Look for the large mural at the back of the pavilion, near Biergarten Restaurant. That’s where the entrance would have been. Backstage there’s a massive show building, but it’s currently used for storage instead.
MoreThe Germany pavilion is bursting with fun, food, flavor and energy pretty much all year round. Whether its an Oktoberfest vibe that youre after, or some sweet Werthers caramel, there is something for everyone here. Definitely worth looking around.
MoreBest place to eat in Epcot for value for your money
Great buffet and excellent service!
The problem with rating any of the EPCOT pavilions is that they are good not great as a whole. I like them all but they arent WOW. This is fine. Absolutely fine. But not 5 stars fine.
MoreOne of the best pavilion in Epcot. Marvelous design and architecture. Well maintained, with shops and eateries.
MoreDo you want a large pretzel? How about a tasty sausage? Maybe a good German beer? While you have found your place. Hint-go to the back near the pavilion to order all this, it is usually less busy then the location up front.
MoreThey have dramatically cut back on entertainment around any of the displays. All the places you can spend money are definitely open. I do love taking pictures around these areas because they do look very much like the country they represent.
MoreWow ! If you ever lived over there this is the next best thing.
This is one of my favorite places to go to in Epcot. They have wonderful popcorn, and I just love all the German merchandise you can purchase. Nice little area.
MoreBiggest complaint was the took the variety of authentic german candy and chocolates out of the shops and went with a single brand wurthers. A big let down when we arrived. The restaurant is still good, but come on Disney you bucked your trend and made the experience worse
MoreA pretty good pavilion, although the quick food options are limited. At Bauernmarkt, they have Potato Pancakes which are terrible and a Pretzel Roll which is pretty good. Other than that they have a big pretzel and beer. There aren’t any activities in this pavilion either.
MoreGreat beer! Especially grapefruit juice beer. Great for hot day!
One of my favorite pavilions! The beer is good, the pretzels are good, all around where I like being. The shop is in a lot of neat things including little chocolates which are a good treat. Theyre a good Christmas ornaments and decorations in another shop in this area.
MoreCant ever go wrong eating/drinking here. Drinking the pink grapefruit flavored Schöfferhofer is worth the wait. I only drink it here when Im non vacation. The Original Hand-Crafted Caramel Popcorn and Caramel Butter bar from Karamell-Küche are a definite must! So good!!
MoreLove the Caramel smores and enjoyed the buffet for dinner. Enough variety for all to enjoy, except perhaps vegans.
MoreAmazing time and the food and drinks are great. Had a blast and my favorite spot in epcot
MoreSo much energy and fun. We ate here in Germany and the buffet was so good. Great music and the shops are filled with fantastic items. A must see around the world.
MoreNice Disney store with different gift ideas and designs.Very expensiveStill a must visitTip for hot summer days. Make yourself a Radler (It is Germanys version of a shandy, a drink composed of half beer, half fruit soda like Sprite. You will need to buy a beer and a bottle of sprite ask for a Xtra cup.
MoreAll the Disney buffets are good but unlike the character dining experience, this features Oktoberfest all the time, which is super fun. If youve ever been to a Hoffbrauhaus, this is a similar experience minus the raging drunk bros (at least thats what the Pittsburgh location is likeand more authentic food.
MoreAs with all the pavillions, the presentation is exceptional. What is true throughout all of food locations throughout WDW as was at Biergarten, the food excellent but excessively over-priced. $300 for five people at a buffet is not worth.
MoreGreat entertainment. Excellent food and service. I feels just like being in Germany.
MoreWow! Have things changed! Still have the Werthers caramel popcorn only it’s drizzled in Chocolate now! So much NEW merchandise AND Christmas too! The selection of Princess crowns is off the chart! Cutsie stuff!!!
MoreSo buffet is $46 per adult, $24 per child, but sooooooo worth it. The bratwurst, schnitzel, roast beef all great. The mac and cheese is off the chain, and a slew of dessert options, so while price is steep, if looking for significantly sized meal to wrap up day, this is it (Soaring eating area is also great! But wouldnt recommend if planning on eating and rides for another 6 hours lol
MoreThe Biergarten is the best and kids love it too. Food, beer and service was great. Lots of gluten free options including desserts.
MoreGreat pavillionBest werthers original popcornChristmas storeLove the tiny trains
Loved the Germany 🇩🇪 pavilion had some cheese custards with little tomatoes and a frozen marga and it was delicious also the scenery was really pretty and they had the lady and the tramp statues here
MoreOne of my favorite (and authenticplaces in the world (and in Epcot).
One of my favorite pavillions in Epcot. Always stop to get some German beer, yes little pricey but its Disney. The Konig blonde beer is my favorite. Their pretzel is delicious and huge in size. The Pavillion is so well made and appealing. Plenty of seating available between stand up tables and benches. Great spot to look at fireworks at night, just make sure you arrive at least a hour before to keep your spot. There is a train circuit and city built right by the Pavillion. So cute and well made.
MoreOne of my favorite pavilions in World Showcase. The architecture is beautiful, but, even though it was a Wednesday, it was realy quite crowded. It seems to be a common trend for World Showcase to become crowded in the afternoon... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
MoreLinzer cookie from Germany!!! It’s so pretty and this is part of the cookie scroll. I would highly recommend doing this because it’s only $2.50 per cookie and at the end you get a free 50th anniversary cookie, a sundae, and an ornament!
MoreGetting in the pavillion was a miracle, reservations for Disney restaurants is 6 months out. The food and atmosphere was a delight. They bring your food and drinks out you dont have to move.
More❣️#ScarlettSuggests … When you are are at Walt Disney World in Orlando, be sure to visit EPCOT to enjoy the Germany Pavilion! It is beautiful with some terrific food, snacks and trains! Also check out the fun merchandise. Don’t forget to pick up your souvenir “kidcot”card! If you look at the trains be sure to look in the little village because they have festival flags on the ssignposts in miniature!
MoreThe Germany Pavilion is always a great stop, mainly for food these days. Biergarten has always been a favorite for me especially with the new family style service. I miss the German merch shop but it is nice that the glass, ornament and sweets shop remain open.
MoreGreat place to walk around and get a feel of German construction, their culture and food. Epcot is an amazing place showcasing different countries and their culture, food, fun stuff and shopping. Such unique idea to place all the countries at one place.
MoreWe had one of the best Disney dining experience at Germany this visit. They were accommodating when some of our party was stuck in traffic. The food was fabulous, the beer delicious and the show was absolutely amazing!
MoreThe German pavilion has a nice fountain at it center. This is also home to the Biergarten restaurant. We did not eat here this year, but we have eaten here regularly on past visits to Epcot. They have some really good candies and Cuckoo clocks here also. The outdoor trains are my favorite, but they were not running because of rain.
MoreWonderful little piece of Germany in Epcot! Try the warm Glüwine or any of the German beers, you cant go wrong, they are all great! I sent pictures to our friends that live in Germany and they said it looks like beer gardens near their home, He said the people at Disney did a wonderful job bringing a little Germany to Epcot! Definitely recommend stopping by for wine or a beer. You can also eat at the restaurant where they celebrate Oktoberfest everyday. You may sit with other people you dont know but thats part of the fun and then the place is a buffet and there is a show. The food is excellent!
More(Warning: this restaurant is pretty dark. If you dont like eating and walking in semi-darkness this is not your restaurantThe food is very good, the atmosphere (nighttime in Germanyis playful and fun, and the show is entertaining. 9/10 would recommend.
MoreThe imagineers did great in the building of this. Beirgarten is a must do. I love the shops, especially the plush Mickey Mouse holding a teddy bear. The train layouts are entertaining and enjoyable(I love how they put miniature Flower and Garden Festival sign). Heard a rumor its to be taken out but I hope thats false.
