Germania Springs Park - Park and Garden in Gadsden, United States
Plenty of room for parties. Has a dog park and a stream that kids love playing in nearby. Playground equipment is great for kids of all ages.
Nice park in a country setting. Picnic tables, restrooms and playground.
This is a great place to have birthday parties, family gatherings, or just to enjoy the sounds of the spring trickling down. There are very clean bathrooms, pavilions with electricity and trashcans to throw trash in and help keep the place beautiful.
Great place to go and let the kids play in the springs or on the playground -nice dog park too. Water was super cold
Great park! Well taken care of. Very nice dog park also.
Pretty cool park, wasnt busy during the week.
Beautiful location. First time visiting but well be back with a picnic and more time.
Everything about this park is wonderful.
Great place for bday parties and to take the kids to play in the creek but if have a party take trash bags when we went both trash containers were full
This is a nice little park. The cool spring water is sparkling clear and fun to dip your toes in. But be ready; it is cold!
Cute place, the parking could be a little bigger. Especially for the baseball side.
Nice place to spend the afternoon with the kids or to take your pup to play
Great place to hang out picnic playground for the kids
Very nice small park, great for the kiddos. Play area, shaded, and picnic tables, also shaded.
Fun and clean park, great fit the kids!
Such a clean park to visit. The dog park is such a blessing to this area - I’ve never been there when that part of the park is not in use. The creek that runs through the park is refresh and always clean of litter. I recommend a visit if your in the area, a great place to relax.
My kids loved it! Great place to take a dog and enjoy the shade while your children play.
Nice, well kept, dog park and also a large family park, beautiful location.
My family has been going here since I was a kid. Its a great place to have birthdays and family reunions, but make sure youre there early. First come type Situation, but its a free venue.
Great place to take kids to play..bathrooms are not very clean tho..
This park s well maintained and clean. There is a doggie park inside as well. A little creek runs through. Plenty of photo op areas as well. Love it.
Its a very pretty park. Great place for a birthday party.
Nice clean park with beautiful springs. There is also a nice dog park and baseball field, along with several picnic tables and two large pavilion. One of the cleanest parks Ive been to locally.
This park has a little spring that the kids can play in. Nice picnic area.
Beautiful, shaded park, with a wonderful spring to cool off in. Pavilions with tables and benches & public restrooms. Wired for electricity (but I havent tried itplayground equipment for all ages. The only thing missing is a splash park for the kids. We love it!
Pretty nice place, they have a nice stream running through and a playground and a couple of baseball fields. Very relaxing when I went.
As a kid, I played baseball, football and attended many other games and parties here. Even attended church once. Good clean park. Really cold spring water.
Nice park, however the bathrooms could use ac, or at least a window so it isnt so hot in there, and you may want to think about doors for the stalls, kinda weird to not have doors, dont know about anyone else, but I dont like for people to see me doing my business, and also people should clean up after partys, there was smashed chocolate, chips, and cake at the pavilion, had to go to another one to find a clean place for our picnic, we live in another county, and go to Jacksonville all the time to visit our daughters boyfriend, the park is close to his house, but for our first visit, it was ok
A nice place for a picnic. They have pavilions with picnic tables, restrooms, a nice playground for the kids, and plenty of parking.
My pup enjoys the dog park. She takes the best naps after. Five stars
its so peaceful! and always clean! there are piblic restrooms and i have been coming to this park since my mom was pushing me in a stroller♥️😭
Had a blast with my girls here! And our favorite part was getting to play with all of the dogs in the dog park!!! Quiet and peaceful and beautiful. I never located the bathrooms vut it wasnt a major issue. We will be back on the weekends!!!
Nice little park. Lots of well maintained playground equipment. The water from the spring is excellent also. This park is well worth the drive or worth a stop if booking the adjacent Chief Ladiga trail. Beautiful scenery as well.
Very clean and well kept. Perfect for the whole family and pets! Nice playground for the kids! Perfect for a picnic in the pavilion or on the picnic tables by the creek.
Favorite park around, nice dog park with plenty of stuff for your dog to do. Tons of pokestops for pokemon go players. Plenty of fun for kids of all ages.
Its got stuff for all.. doggy park, play ground, clean bathrooms,Creek water we all can walk in.. picnic tables just beautiful. Took this pic of my dad he loved it it was his 1st visit ✌️💙😁
Cute park, the kids had a wonderful time playing on the different play areas, especially the pebble bottom stream. We also too the dog who had a good time in the dog park. My two complaints would be that the restrooms are absolutely disgusting and I had a really hard time accessing the park due to a city wide bike race. Overall totally worth a stop if youre driving through and need a place for your kids and/or dog to stretch their legs.
Great little park to bring your family. The water is always nice and cold. The kids love the playground. All around enjoyable. Access to the ladiga trail as well.
Good playground equipment for the kids, soft balls fields and a dog park for the fur babies. Plus the spring water feels amazing on a hot day.
Great park for my 3 year old grandson. Lots of space and equipment. Shallow, clear creek with things to see. Plenty of shade. Clean.
I really like this park. I bring my two year old hear often and find that the equipment is more suited for children his age than other parks. There is also a creek that runs though this park and my child loves the water. This park also offers access to Ladiga Trail for people who enjoy hiking and bicycling.
Lovely little park. My granddaughters had a great time as did my hubby and myself. There have been improvements made recently making the park more child friendly.
Beautiful and relaxing place. The water in the creek is ever so cold no matter the time of year. Great place to picnic and let the children play!
Very peaceful park. Has a playground for kids thats pretty nice and the brook is always nice and clean. One of my favorite places to go in Jacksonville.
A wonderful little nature park located just outside of Jacksonville. This park offers a free experience with a dog park, play ground, public restrooms, pavillions for parties or gatherings, and a creek that flows crystal clear spring water right through the middle of it all. Great place for kids and pets. Handicapped parking/access is available. I enjoy bringing my dog here to romp around in the water or to play at the dog park
I enjoy bringing my children here. Im unsure of the recent graffiti on the bathroom wall? Ive also been there and had to leave due to teenagers acting inappropriate. The park its self its nice for small children and big kids too and located along the Ladiga trail.
I love going there regularly. It’s a great resting spot if you’re riding your bike on The trail.
Quite a nice little public park! Has covered pavilions, playground, walking area and afoot bridge across the spring! Public bathrooms were cleaned and easy to get to and in and out of. Look forward to my need visit.
A nice uncrowded park with a natural spring fed stream to cool your feet in the summer. It has a small dog park with obstacle course. There are football and baseball fields, playgrounds for the little kids and restrooms that that are open from dusk to dawn.
The park is a very nice place. I took my dog there to play on the agility course and we had a good time. But I must say something else about what happened while I was there. Ive very rarely have issues with people.A car of three guys came to the park. Two of them climb into a tree by where I was standing throwing ball for my dog and the other couple was. They stood there in the tree staring at us the whole time but I couldnt understand a word they were saying. But they were making it quite obvious that they were staring. The two were in white shirts the other in a blue shirt. They past me several times and went to the parking lot. My car was alone on one side and three others by the creek side. The one in the blue circled my car 4 times. Walking across the lot to get to it. I went to my car. Set the alarm and looked right at him and he walked away. Then he comes back and circles it three more times. The other couple cane to me and said he sat down beside it right next to it where I couldnt see him.A new couple came up and we pointed out the three guys walking around the parking lot. Explained what they were doing. They watched me as I got in my car because they were leaving and I didnt want to stay alone there. The third couple also left. As soon as I walked up he stared at me and I got in as the two couples watched. He got up as soon as I left and got in his car. This was very creepy and I gave pictures of them. I dont get uncomfortable easy but this was too much. Everyone left there. We were all first time people.Besides that it was s really nice place. Id post pics if I could of the guys.
