Georges Gyros in Mesa

Super friendly staff. Cant say enough. They are small but mighty. Their gyros are second to none. Affordable, whereas there are plenty of other gyro sandwich restaurants in Mesa that upcharge you on every little thing. Give them a try if you havent yet.

Been a consistent patron for 3 years, still get unfriendly service. The food is nothing to write home about; not sure what these others are raving about. Theres plenty of other places to get a gyro. The prices have gone up and what used to be cheap garbage is now expensive garbage. Dont waste your time; I know I wont be going back.Edit: Its ridiculous that this is how they treat someone whos spent hundreds of dollars there (if not over a thousand). It was clear you never wanted me back. Maybe I was wrong and your food is decent but your attitudes have always been repugnant!

My favorite Gyro. I hope business picks up. I wouldnt want them to ever close their doors.

Everything was delicious. From the sampler platter to the baklava with pistachios everything was delicious. Gyro was amazing. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the Greek fries. Totally worth it. Clean facilities, plenty of parking. Smallish dining area. Very friendly staff. Will be back.

Good but not great. Ordered traditional Gyro / fries. Took a bit but wait not concerning it was that gyro and fries were not hot but at least was warm when it arrived. Used to lettuce in wrap also that it didnt have. On window states best Gyros in AZ.... I think Pita Jungle has a better one.

Great place for some Greek food. Its a little old and worn down but the food was delicious. The salad was great. I ordered the chicken Faliro and it was simply delicious. The capers and artichoke were amazing in this dish.

Still eating what I just ordered & cant wait to go back already! True hometown comfort food for this Chicagoland girl.

This is the "Gyro Platter" - a few strings of meat that has nothing to do with Gyro, raw onion chunks, Tomato pieces and Ketchup? This is the most disappointing meal I had in the USA over the last 11 years. I know that most Greek places will serve the US influenced idea if Gyro and that it is not close to the original thing - but this was just not up to par at all.That was the first and last time we ordered there.

LOVE this place the gyros are so good and the woman at the register is so kinda I didn’t know how to order something and she knew what I wanted still. Will definitely be a repeat customer

Such a great gyro! We order the Gyro Picado (I believe its called. A spicy, flavorful twist on an original gyro sandwich. SOOOO good. Fries a great. Salad is crave worthy. Service is great. Hours are great. Tzezitki sauce is great. Definitely our go to for a gyro.👍

The sign on the window doesn’t lie. This was the best gyro I’ve had in Arizona. I used to believe I didn’t like gyros and pitas, but now I realize I have never had authentic gyros. I had the chicken pita with everything on it and WOW. The chicken was so good.You might drive past this place and not even notice it. Don’t let the exterior deter you. Kind and prompt service too!

Georges Gyros will definitely satisfy your desire for a great tasting gyro, with its tantalizing herbs and spices on a nice proportion of perfection in their traditional preparation of meat, great tasting tzatziki rolled in a hot pita. And a fresh and colorful Greek salad that was more then what was anticipated for my first time visiting this restaurant. Along with greek sandwiches & platters with a flare of Chicago, and to compliment their menu a variety of pizza & pasta, salads, and deserts. They host a small bar to accommodate those seeking a cocktail or beer to go along with their meal. Robert, Danny, and Atour are delighted to not only see that your meal has met your satisfaction, but are extremely charming, and friendly. The restaurant is located near Main and CountryClub. The food was amazing!!! The person that takes your orders was sooo friendly, and patient with us ordering for the first time. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone that loves bomb food 😁.

This place is awesome I really liked it the person working suggestion a couple dishes that were really good the staff is very nice I think the owner was there the day that I was there and he seems really nice too and very helpful their baklava is pretty good you should try some theyre chocolate mousse cake is awesome too they have some dishes that are really good you should go try to go try them out theyre really very willing to make a dish to your taste

The food was sooooo good and the prices were really reasonable. The staff was friendly, the dining area is a little small but it was nice and clean and the service was really quick!

Small place with good food. Always full of people but you never have to wait long for food to come out hot amd with a smile.

The place is chill, quiet, which is nice when coming in from the hectic sounds of the city. The lady was sweet and didnt hover. The food was delicious, large portions, my son and I both loved it.

Love this place the gyros here are the best and there fries are crispy. Cant go wrong super friendly I believe it is family owned and operated.

They have the best Greek Salad in the area, and the gyros are first rate as well. The food is always cooked fresh and quickly. Way better than the other "Georges" in the Valley!

Not from Arizona and dont eat out alot. BUT THIS PLACE OMG IS SO GOOD AND FRESH!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK GOOD SERVICE 😊 AND CUTE PLACE TO DINE IN AND EVEN HAVE A COCKTAIL 🍸! If you dont want to wait, calling ahead would be advised. First time in, didnt care much for the food. It had very little flavor. Some menu items are tolerable, but need more seasoning Prices are about normal for the menu items.

This place was amazing! Had an original gyro with their house salad as a side. Everything was delicious and very affordable. Would definitely recommend this place and eat here again!

Waited 45 minutes after being the 2nd order in the store currently and had 4 other patrons served before me, I got the Beefy cheese and it was bland and the beef tasted like it came from a bucket/package. Didn’t even have salt and pepper, failing the basics of flavor balance and customer service.

This place is fantastic. The Original Gyro platter was amazing. The house salad that my girlfriend got was large and a high quality salad. Simple menu but offers everything youd want from this kind of gyro place.I love a place that knows what it is and does several things really really well. Too many places try to be everything to everyone, Georges gets it. They do gyros, pasta, Greek food, a few other things simply and really well.I will definitely be back.

You get a lot of food at a fair price. The place is clean and it was nice eating here. They also have a bar if that interests anyone. My mother and I got one gyros with salad and one with French fries. I liked it all. My mother only complained about the bread being soft. I told her it could be that they don’t toast it, but I’m sure they won’t mind warming it up. So, maybe ask if you order a gyros. I’m not sure if they will do it, but I would think they could.

Love it. Great food and the pistachio backlava is amazing. Dine in or take out.I ordered the chicken faliro which was great. The capers were a little too salty, but could have been solved by adding more rice. Salad and garlic bread were included.

Best gyros in the valley, hands down. My buddy ordered takeaway from here a while back, absolutely loved it. Ive tried another gyro place that was a lot closer to me but nothing can top these!

Went there with a bunch of my friends got the gyro platter the french fries made the Greek way and a huge huge solid and it was all delicious. The only thing is this is not a fancy restaurant they have paper plates and plastic forks. They only have one trash can thats how small the place is but the food is delicious.

I hate to give it one star especially since this is a local business but I also want to review it honestly.I got the Chicken Platter. It was topped with onions and tomatoes that were raw. The chicken was extremely dry and overcooked. The rice also has no seasoning or flavor. The pita was also store bought and cold. Sorry to say, But I won’t be going back.

Pretty good gyro pita souvlaki needs more garlic salad good needs more feta fries crispy tzatziki decent portions typical. Would try again

The first time I tried them, I got the Ceasar Pita. It made me sick within an hour of eating it. I have a fairly sensitive stomach so I didn’t think anything of it. The second time I tried them I went basic, a cheeseburger and fries. Well low and behold I found a sandwich bag clip in my burger. On the bottom bun, under my patty. I called and though they did apologize that was all they did. I’m sad to say I won’t be eating here again, and will be recommending my hospital order elsewhere when considering lunch for our employees.Update 8/3: A gentleman named Robert gave me a call at work and apologized profusely. I understand we are only humans and mistakes get made. He offered to replace the meal or give me a refund. He knows the my place of employment well and understands how this could have been dangerous. Great reception from a bad experience, will give them another chance in the future.

I haven’t had every gyro in Arizona, but I do believe this has got to be the best.

This place does have very good food. Priced somewhat fairly. Restrooms are clean and soIs the dining area. It does seem to be a hot spot for police officers having lunch or dinner which could be uncomfortable for some. We had the lamb gyros and they where really good. It’s close to home and we will be coming back again.

Only been here once, but wow, what great gyros. It was like 7:30 pm, and I think they close at 8. We had four of the same... Gyros and fries. All of them were juicy, tender gyros meat, hot, fresh fries, and just enough sauce on the gyros to be delicious without running all over. Pita bread was soft and warm. Good sized portions. Pretty big menu. Maybe not the cutest place, but it was clean. Id return.

Well from the lack of vehicles outside I thought that maybe it wasnt going to be very Lively, yet when I step inside there were more than a few customers some sitting down some ordering to go and to my surprise is very clean it smelled amazing which was obviously a very good starter so I looked around and I ordered the people are friendly it took a little bit extra long for the food but Ill always be willing to wait for good food. Overall I would recommend the spot these original sandwich I got was off the chain and if I ever am in that area Ill probably get another one

Wonderful food and very friendly staff. The pitas gyros and sauce all taste so fresh. I really enjoyed a quiet meal at lunch time with my son.

They say the have the Best Gyros in Arizona right on the building. I had to stop and give them a try to see if it was true. It is! Georges serves the best Gyro I have ever had. The pita is soft and pillowy. They have an amazing selection too. The desserts are delicious. They offer fast and friendly service. Amd you see the owners in the restaurant from time to time. Great location and plenty of parking.
