We feel lucky to have come to St. George on the first night of our 4-day mini honeymoon. The staff welcomed us with kindness and lots of smiles. We ate so well that we went back every night for dinner. Onion bread is a pleasure, meat, too. In retrospect, I would like to be there. Thank you St. George for being a fixture in our time in Amsterdam

This was an exceptional meal. We ate very late (at 11 pmand still the food was delicious. Incredible French onion soup, steak, bread and butter, fries. The food was served very quickly and the couple who own the restaurant were nice. We even did shots together at the end of the evening. If this restaurant was in my hometown of NYC, I would be back regularly. Highly recommend!

Traveled here from New York and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at so far. Very impressed with the quality of the food, the staff and how fast such good food was made. Perfection. I can easily give this restaurant the stamp of approval. AND its almost midnight. Which is a huge deal. Quality food, late night is a big plus for me. Check them out!

Do you want to eat a delicious steak like you eat In Argentina. Just choose your sauce. The one we chose was pepper and Argentinian sauce. Just perfect. The Argentinian red wine was also great taste. We had the sirloin steak. But all meat there are excellent. The owner is very friendly.

This is a great place if you enjoy friendly and professional staff who pick up on the potential customer wishes like no other.Also if you like great steak cooked to your preference and liking.They work till late in the evening when others stop taking orders , and even then they still care about the customer.Recommended. Cute little restaurant centrally located, the ambiance is sweet and the food is outstanding!!! We walked upon this little haven and decided to give it a try. Not disappointed at all. The rose wine is delicious and the food is amazing! Had the garlic bread followed by chicken wings, ribs, steak and French fries. We didn’t leave a crumb behind. Amazing, amazing little place. Just make sure to bring your patience. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, making sure you are well taken care of. Staffing shortages are everywhere and this place seems to have a bit of a wait. But your patience will be rewarded as every bit of food we ate was well worth the wait. So good we returned the next night!! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!!

Way too expensive regarding the quality (which is quite debatable). And almost 10 euros for 1,5L of water...

We had a lovely meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and we were allowed to sip wine and visit before ordering our meal. The steak was good. The lamb chops delicious.

We had one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time here. The staff were very kind, professional, and helpful. Even though we walked in a bit late, after we were turned away from a handful of restaurants for not having food to serve us with, the staff welcomed us with open arms. The steak was just made to perfection, and was one of the best steaks we’ve had in a while. We will definitely visit this place one more time before we leave for the states in our short visit.

TOURIST TRAPWe were there with a group of six and got the worst food ever for €153.First we waited 35 minutes for the drinks, which were also wrong, then we waited another 30 minutes for the food, although we were the only table.The foodWe were very hungry after waiting for an hour, the burgers, two of which were supposed to be medium and one well done, were ALL black. The bread was cheap flat bread and the sauce tasted like washing up liquid. Furthermore, we had ordered onion rings which consisted only of very thin breading. The mushrooms fried in garlic were a cheek for seven euros, and it felt like you only got 3 raw mushrooms.The tortillas were much too spicy that it was not edible.We then pointed out to other guests that we would not recommend eating here. When we told the waiter that we werent happy with the food, we were rudely brushed off and only given the opportunity to have the same meal again.For the prices on the menu, you would expect different food and different service, an absolute tourist trap.

I walked by with a friend and when we were taking a look at the menu, a loving waiter came outside to welcome us in. When we came inside the restaurant we smelled the delicious food they were serving and could immediately feel the loving and warming ambiance. We ordered the St. George house steak with a Argentian sauce, the waiter helped us out with our desicion and was really patience with us, while it was a busy day at the restaurant. I really did enjoyed their Argentian steak, you could immediately taste the freshness and the skills of the chef. When I cut the steak, I couldnt feel any different than cutting a slice of butter. I would like to thank the loving waiter Carlos and the chef for the amazing experience they gave us. I will be back as soon as possible. This is a must place for everybody!! Nice ambiance, lovely food and a amazing service!

The staff are extremely friendly and the place is homey and welcoming. I took away 2 stars though because the food wasn’t that great and the menu is a bit disorganized. So overall it’s not bad.

Very pleasant experience here plus the place is really nice. Restaurant was very clean with great art on the walls. Also with a great view of the city. Menu was large with some great pictures.

One of the best steaks Ive ever had! (Ive eaten there more than 10 timesThe staff is amazing and the place is very romantic during the evenings (they even have candles). If you go there make sure to choose the garlic bread. Amazing experience!

Quite luxurious food and made well. Very quite during evening. Seems like a place for a date. Beef was too raw. Pretty expensive (50 euros a person without alcohol).

Went for the tapas . Basically a bag of crisps . Bowl of melted cheddar cheese with fat chorizo sausage is just a local herb sausage not even red in colour , , waste of time and money please choose restaurant that has photos of food as you will be disappointed waitress service worst we have seen in Amsterdam , overpriced lots of customers moaning and not paying ,

Argentinian steak, 300g, advertised as tender. Not so much unless you slice little tiny bits. Otherwise you chew and chew. Flavor was excellent and it was cooked as requested, maybe a little under. Every thing is additional for their weighed steaks, so it really adds up at the end if you want sides and even water. 29.95 for steak, 4.95 plain potato, not even butter, 2.75 water each.
