Port-Noir, Quai de Cologny 5, 1223 Cologny, Switzerland, Geneve
This green park on the banks of Lake Geneva features a large swimming pool & a restaurant.
Free public strand with toilets and changing room facilities. It is mostly pebbled beach but there are sandy areas at each end. Theres also a place to get food & drinks. The lake is crystal clear! 👍
Amazing, I had a very good experience
Very cool public swimming pool with great views on the lake.
Love it! Great facility and good experience
I was only in Geneva for a few hours so I’m not the best person to judge. But I thought it was overcrowded, small and expensive (where I’m from, we don’t pay to swim at the “beach”), although the underground parking is REALLY cheap (which is a common thing in Switzerland). There might be a better/free option somewhere along the lake ?
Fabulous OSR concerts
The best place to spend hot summer days with children in Geneva. Comfortable, green, sandbox and baby pool for small children, plenty of changing rooms, nice snack bars and a restaurant. Huge swimmer pool for adults and a lot of other attractions.I love this place
It’s the city center for you to see the landmarks. A public parking nearby is quite convenient and you could find free bicycle rental by the lank bank around as a container house. The little train ride is also nice especially when summer is hot.
Pool, beach, slide and diving boards up to 10m. Very clean and beautiful.
The biggest plage in Geneva with a 50 m outdoor swimming pool, lake attractions, restaurant and large green areas.
Cheap place in a good location close to the city centre and easily accessible through public transport. Quite large area to sit and relax. A lake beach, a diving structure and a pool create a good combination of different activities to do. You can either sunbathe or refresh yourself under the trees shadow.
Everything is great except for catering: the tables and the canteen are really outdated, long queues for the food on weekends..
a fun place to spend the day with family
Bring your picnic and spend a couple of hours by the lake.
Nice place for a visit, not as fancy as I expected but I could happily move here.
Overcrowded weekends, especially in the afternoon if the weather is good. It is very dirty in the swimming pool and some "special ppl" are making a huge mess there.
Very pleasant, well equipped beach. You can choose between swimming in the lake or in the pool. The temperature is almost the same, which means it is cold even in summer. 😀 We loved the slide.
This is a very nice place to freshen up and spend the afternoon on the east side of Geneva.
At least a decent beach in Geneva 😎😎😎
Great New place to have a pleasant time in Geneva
Cheap and nice place in Geneva. Buy tickets online it will save your time. It has nearby as well large - 6 floor parking. There is a pool for even very small kids, and new platground nearby.
Best place for summer
It’s a place where they put many yachts and boat, not much to see. You can try any spot and get the same view. We were there when the annual boat race happens with many yachts that made the view a bit better.
Great
A great place to hang out for the day. 7 francs entry fee for adults and 3.50 for children until 16 years. Theres a huge pool, a kiddie pool, a big sand pit with games, a couple of beach volley pits, table tennis tables (you have to bring your own equipment), and access to the lake. Everything you need for a fun day out with friends and/or family. And if you get hungry, theres a self service restaurant and a service at table one. Note that they allow squirt guns but no inflatable objects in the water. There are lockers to put your valuables in but BRING YOUR OWN PADLOCK. Buying one on site costs 15 francs!!!!
A great place for a day out. Great pool and slide and the jumps for the lake are great.
Fantastic tourist spot. The fountain is beautiful and today it had the most spectacular rainbow all around it.
Super busy but lots of fun. Rent stand-up paddle boards for only 15 CHF, which was awesome.
Fantastic place. Love the lake and pool. But you have to with cash to rent beds. And we did not have not enough cash and there is nog ATM. Besides that its lovely.
We liked this place, it had all you needed from a badi with a nice beach, lots of space to sit and a restaurant which is very fast and efficient and has draught beer. Its quite windswept given the Geneva wind and that limited the swimming options a lot. The atmosphere was ok. It would be good to be able to hire sun loungers and umbrellas for the out of towners as this place was more designed with locals in mind, so it took a little while to figure it out.
Best plage to spend your hot summer days in Genève 🌞🌞
A little piece of heaven for kids during the summer. Having not much of shores for swimming and sunbathing along the lake, this park is perfect for kids and families to enjoy the wet fun. Sitting on the lake with several different sized pool for all ages and activities including water slides and fountains for kids to splash around. You can picnic on the grassy spots on a blanket and have a nap even, if you dont mind the noise. I would definitely recommend for families to visit. You wont regret it.
Avoid weekends, chaotic. A lot of teenagers in groups doing whatever they want. Rules are not always enforced. Example, the pool was very crowded and it is forbidden to play with balls in the pool. I was hit several times with a volleyball and a tennis ball. Some kids jumping the fence in the swimming pool and meddling in the reserved swimming lanes.Kids spitting down in the queue for the water slide and looking for trouble
nice place not that many People. great for children.
Even when it rains (like it was the case yesterday), Genève Plage is still the best place if you want to swim a 50 meters pool, play beach woolley, ping-pong and much more.Come in and enjoy !
Lovely little trip. Nice sized well maintained pool, cordoned off beach area, lots of space and fun for all the family
Great place to spend a very sunny day in Geneva, it is packed with kids. They have a trampoline, access to the lake, a nice space in the grass to tan, they also have a public pool. The entrance is only 5 francs, it is worthy :), would come back more often
No social distancing, especially in queues. Slide was closed and pool was overflowing with people. Queue for the diving boards was horrendous. Only good thing was the lake, but you can swim in there for free in other places.
A lot of shade under the trees, ideal on a hot summer day.
Lovely place... taking the boat to get to Geneve Plage would be even better! A Great place for everyone. It has a large pool, kids pools a lake side, lots of green areas and a sandy play area for kids. They have Scuba diving too! Highly recommended
Fantastic lake-swimming plus Okympic-sized 50m outdoor pool in the heart of the city for a lunch-time dip. Phenomenal!
Great place for a picnic and a dip in the lake or pools.
Summer memories = winter reviewsWhat an addition to Geneva! Granted it was packed but what a great spot to enjoy a picnic, some beers (from local vendor, see menuand the height of summer. Sigh....
Very nice place. You must give a visit if you are in Geneva. Adult I believe 7 CHF and kids under 6 yrs old is free. There are a lot of activities ti do and chill out with your family and friend.
Nice time... Surprised it costs the same amount to enter as it does to use a life vest and get on the obstacle course for half an hour (7but otherwise very enjoyable. Loved the water slide- and didnt feel to awkward using it despite being an adult with no children. Probably a prude but was surprised to see topless women... Ha for some maybe thats a positive ;D
For leisure: amazing, good for sunbathing, great restaurant at fair price. For swimming (training:Theres only one chronometer in the middle of the pool, hard to see from one side for 50m drills. Its usually quite full, even though with a fast (sportivelane that most people shouldnt be there... Theres an almost aways empty lane for swimming with material only, Id recommend bring at least a swim snorkel to pop to the other lane in case its to crowded.Theres the possibility of swimming in the lake as well, which is nice, but for that now is better Bain the paquis, that added 100m buoys to measure distance.Pool temperature is nice, long distance crawl swimming its OK.
Very well laid out. Clean tidy and well presented. Very long wait in a queue to by a meal I would suggest more food outlets.
Great place to spend a warm, sunny day. They have snacks for sale along with other swimming essentials. If youre from most part of the world, youll be surprised by how little chlorine they use, apparently because of the rate at which fresh water from lake geneva is pumped in (according to a lifeguard). Lots of lanes for lap swimming, open swim, pool games, a childrens pool area, a water slide for kids 8 and up plus adults, and lots of tables, benches, grass, and trees for shade if you need it. In early may the water temp was nearly 25C (75F), which suggests they heat it externally.7 francs or euros per adult.
Great place, nice, clean and quiet.Kids friendly and the food not expensive.
Nice place. Kind of. Dont know why they allow female workers inside mens toilets, changing rooms, locker rooms and even showers! Thats insane, but they dont allow men in womens facilities. One star goes away just for that. Geneva can be a very sexist place at times unfortunately. Ive seen a completely naked man feeling embarrassed because a woman came in unexpectedly and she was working for genève plage. These people are mad. The rest is ok but it could be cleaner. Especially the pool and the entrance which is full of rubbish everywhere. Another star goes away for that so three stars are deserved in my opinion.
