MoreBest museum in the Area
Small but fulfill of Patton and US history (related with WWII).
Well maintained place with lots of historical artifacts.
Very interesting, worth a visit
It is a small museum but has a lot to see. The place is filled with items I have never seen before. It was also nice to learn something about Luxembourg in the 2nd world war, since it is a country you dont hear about a lot. Being able to understand German is a must however if you wish to read news articles / posters / propaganda from that time. (It does have English explanation but it is limited)
MoreSuper!
Very nice museum, huge collection of letters, notes, clothing, weapons and so much more. Detailed information provided in French, German and English. A must visit, very educational and at a very fair price.
MoreNever forget...they died for our freedom!!
A must see a great general
Mooi informatief museum.
Small but good displays
Very informative with an impressive collection. Only €5.
Nice museum
Excellet museum, this is a true hidden gem. Set in a very modest venue, this museum vividly tells the story of Luxembourg during the German occupation in WW2 with great exhibits & photos. Rich in information and food for thought, yet easy to absorb and very interesting. The name is a bit misleading, as only a section is devoted to the life and career of General Patton, who led the American troops in liberating Luxembourg. Easy to reach by train (20 mins from Lux central station, short walk from the station in Ettelbruck). Definitely worth a visit
MoreI have tried to visit the last three sundays and it has been locked each time. Phone number is not in service
MoreNice museum
Interesting war museum. Could have had more about General Patton given the museum title.
MoreReally good museum detailing what happened in Luxembourg prior to, during, and just after WWII.
MoreI expected more about Patton. This museum has relics from WW2 and some information on Patton but could have been much better
MoreA nice discovery, pretty much worth for the money as there is quite a lot to see (5€). Not only around the General Patton. They are renovating the outside to be ready for the remembrance day in septembre 2019. Presence of a large variety of items they found digging in the country.
MoreWonderful museum paying tribute to the genius George Patton. We spent 4 hrs studying the memorabilia and watching the videos.a must for anybody interested in WW2 who appreciates the sacrifices made for our freedom.
MoreMuseum in the city of Ettelbruck dedicated to General Patton
Super
Cute museum. A must see being in the area.
We were visiting Ettelbruck and received a flyer about the museum. War museums have always interested me so I had to visit. I was not disappointed, they have a lot of items for such a small museum.
MoreVery good! Tells and interesting story. If you have the Luxembourg Card it is free entry. It is a quick walk from the train / bus station. On your way to Vianden. It isnt full of tourists.
MoreOh my!! Worth the visit.
Lovingly maintained memorial museum of General George S. Patton Jr. Photos, sculpture, lots of weapons, uniforms, artifacts, lots of personal items, mementos, postcards, letters. Also exhibits on the liberation of Ettelbruck and Luxembourg, aircraft relics and artifacts. Parking available.
