Es un excelente lugar cultural donde se puede apreciar la historia del heoreo nacional y una de las figuras más importantes de la ciudad.Dispone de agradables guías que te cuentan la historia mientras muestran elementos de la época. Un patio español acogedor y muchas facilidades.

This place is great, the tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable of Luperon and the Restauration War history. My 10 year old daughter loved it. She was thrilled she was allowed to play Luperons daughters piano.

Very nice museum with well preserved and displayed clothing, furniture, and other exhibits. Nice to learn all about the history of the country in one stop. Very good guide.

A very nice place.

All the descriptions of the displays are in Spanish, after I translate them Ill have a better idea of what it was all about. Being in a smaller group and having Google translate for Spanish downloaded on my phone would have helped make it a better experience.

Solo conocer algo del héroe de la Restauración, General Gregorio Luperón, vale la pena, la casa-museo que pertenecio a la hija de Luperón recoge además de parte de su historia, algunos objetos que dan cuenta de la forma en que vivían en ese entonces. El precio de entrada es económico y los guías hacen un placer del recorrido.

Estuve por el museo hace unas semanas junto a mi esposo y así como dijo la chica que nos guio es un recorrido histórico sin desperdicio. Mucha historia bien dirigida, calidad y seguridad, todos muy amable, dispuestos y preparados.El museo es hermoso y muy bien conservado, lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados.excelente trabajo.

If you like history, you must visit this museum

I was with a tour group and one of the staff gave us a guided tour and talk. The staff were all pleasant. Since this museum was about DR culture and history, it did not interest me much.

Very informative, tours available in English. $200 pesos per person, 1/2 price for children. Highly Recommended if interested in the history of Dominican Republic!

This is the place if you love Dominican history about Gregorio Luperon

300 pesos gets you a guided tour of the meticulously reconstructed house that Luperón lived in during his final days. There is a nice coffee shop attached. Staff is very nice, welcoming, and helpful.

The house has a beautiful architecture. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Original possessions and photographs of General Luperon are on exhibition.

I visited this museum and I admit, it was a great experience. Discover the history of General Gregorio Luperon. You will found out about details of his life you probably didnt know.

Provides a good understanding of not only one of the most important figures of the Dominican republic, but also brief history of an important time of the country. Highly suggest going as it only takes 30 minutes or so to visit and go through all the exhibits.
