Best ice cream so far in Florence! Perfect temperature and excellent quality ingredients. You will not find the most common flavors like vanilla or strawberry, but rather chocolate with blueberries, Tuscan cream, pistachios, ginger… highly recommended!

Best gelato of my life! Weve had gelato every day on our tour of Italy but this one has me shook. Just one bite of the pistachio and I had to stop and cry. I only got one scoop, this was supposed to be quick... But then I had to turn around and buy another two scoops to try more and everything was fantastic. Then I realized they have gelato sandwiches on brioche! Now I have to go back after dinner for dessert!!!

Excellent gelato, 10-12 flavours available. Very small stand with 3 streetside benches to sit. Close to a small piazza where you can also enjoy your gelato.

This is genuinely probably the best gelato you will have in Florence. I was blown away by the flavour and texture. Its an essential visit

The dark chocolate (75%has to be tasted to be believed - and believe me its incredible! Absolutely delicious and with real depth of flavour and smoothness. I too have tried many many places in Italy and beyond.

This is your gelato place if you go to Florence. The dark chocolate flavour was incredible, and they don’t shy away from putting a lot of gelato on your cone!

La Sorbettiera… once you’ve tried the ice cream you never wanna eat any other ice cream. It’s really the best ice cream I’ve ever tried. We literally went there for three rounds of ice cream in just an hour. In two days we ate 6 rounds of ice cream. It was soooo delicious.The best flavours we have tried were nicolo (a mix of salted peanuts, caramel, chocolate chips and crispy pieces of biscuit), mango (which really garstes just like an ice cold mango and the texture was so smoothand last but not least finishing our top three was cocomero (tasted just like an ice cold and sweet watermelon). But every flavour we’ve tasted was amazing and one of a kind. And also the ambience is amazing it’s a modern and stylish Gelateria, with workers who love to work and who are really nice and are a really great help making a decision on the best ice cream for yourself.Please open a new Gelateria in Vienna!I would spend all my money just on ice cream.

Best gelato I have had in Italy thus far. So good we went back twice. Not gonna lie...probably will go back a third time before I leave. I loved the limone salvia (lemon sage), dark chocolate (I forget the Italian name), and maracuja (passionfruit).

There is a lot of fine ice cream in Firenze. Even the tourist locations have better than average product. Therefore, when it comes to selecting a "best", the selection will vary with flavour. La Sorbettiera has the best chocolate ice cream in Firenze ("seconda me"...in my opinion).

The flavour was really meh. And the portion was half of other places. Not sure why the owner from my hostel told me that this is the best gelato. I have had gelatos everywhere in Italy last two months in Sardinia, Napoli, Sorrento, Amalfi, Salerno, Rome, Firenze and San Gimignano. This one is my least favorite. Not creamy and not much flavour at all, especially for pistachio.

Omg do yourself a favor and get the brioche bun. I had it with cream chocolate chips and candied orange. Just wow!

One of the best gelato I had so far in Italy! We had the Melon, pistachio, dark chocolate and raspberry. This place is so good we came here twice in one day. Definitely try! General tip for gelato: Go to a place that has their gelato in steel buckets not for display! This means the gelato is fresher and has less preservatives.

Amazing pistachio gelatto, sorbet fragola tastes likes frozen strawberries! Its a must!

Best gelato in all of Italy. The flavors, both local and artisanal were rich and refreshing. The cream was not overpowering over the flavor, the texture was smooth and the staff is always kind. Ask for the traditional flavor to try something different or try the pistachio or chocolate for a treat.

Best chocolate ice cream in Italy. Have been lacking to find the intense flavor and was about to give up on chocolate gelato, but La Sorbettieria has nailed it. Intense, deep and creamy. A must. Also tried coffee arabica and chai tea - wonderful.

Randomly stumbled upon this gem after playing at the park across the street with my daughter. It is the greatest find! Wonderful service + delicious, authentic gelato. Highly recommend the pistachio or the uva fragole!

Very thick and rich gelato!

I already miss my portion of lemon and salvia plus chocolate ice cream as we were in Florence for only 4 days… this is the best ice cream flavor I had so far in Italy, lemon and salvia is now my favorite flavor. Have a try and you will understand.If I ever come to Florence again, it will be mainly because of this ice cream. I am in love… :D

Scrumptious! Get your gelato and eat it on a bench in the park. Such a great area, and the gelato too, in any season! Unique flavors and wonderful cones!

Some unique and really well done flavor combinations. The only thing thats a "must have" is a large takeaway container of sorbets after having dinner nearby! We tried four flavors and they were all great, though my personal favorite was the yogurt -- light, refreshing and not too sweet.

Ive already said that about Sbrino - but this is pretty much just as good, if not better (its basically about which one you have had most recently 😜)The flavors are intense, yet spot-on, the consisetency is just right, and the temperature, well, is what it should be - from the moment you get your gelato, youre fighting a losing battle between consumption and melt!Note - the place closes early !

This was my favourite gelateria I tried during my visit in Florence. They had some unique flavours and it wasnt too sweet.Plus, this was one of the few gelaterias who could say confidently that they were peanut-free!

I went there 2 times during my stay in Florence because it was so good. Good quality, not loaded with sugar, and flavors were rich and so smooth. Go there and savour the incredible gelato they serve. Thats all I have to say.

Some unusual flavours here. We went back for more 3 times. Didnt try all the flavours but the lemongrass & coconut one was outstanding, as was the chai latte. Wish we had found the place earlier so we could try more.

Best ice cream EVER!!! not just in Florence, the owner Antonio was serving behind the counter and makes his own flavors in this little shop, the 75% dark chocolate milk free, or the New England with maple syrup and bacon, or the ginger and honey are just amazing!!! We were visiting Florence and discovered it by chance.

All the rave reviews are accurate.The guy at the counter translated all the flavors for us. I tried the coffee, pistachio and salted caramel flavors.The coffee was the best coffee ice cream I ever had, and it was not as good as the other two flavors!Still having a hard time deciding which of the other two flavors is the best I ever had - they are both at the top of my list.

Very tasty. Pistachio is incredibly nice, one of the best I have ever had. Lemon also very good. Service was not particularly pleasant but the ice cream is just great, and thats the only thing that matters to me.

Spent a week in Florence and after trying so many gelato places, trust me when I say this the best gelato in Florence hands down (closely followed by Rivareno)! You know its good when locals are queuing up for it - dont miss out on this!

Delicious, creative, and a local favorite! If ever you find yourself in Florence, I recommend this place! Try the Basil or the Lemon with Sage! No other place I have been had such creative flavors. Or go for the classics such as Cream or Chocolate. You will not be disappointed.

After trying many gelaterias in Florence and Siena, I was quite disappointed. Later I stumbled across this place and it made me have faith in gelato again! The staff was very friendly and I had chai tea and lemon and sage gelato. I was really glad to see such interesting flavours and they were both so delicious! I wish I had more time to go back to this place again!
