Great indian halal food....with a great service.

Had a quick lunch there. Ordered chicken korma from the lunch menu. It was good. Not the best korma Ive ever had, but it felt authentic and I was satisfied. The service was lightning-fast - the meal was on my table within a minute or two and the staff was always at hand.The only complaint I have is that the meal was served on the silver platter designed for multiple small portions of different meals. I guess they use it for all meals in case someone orders naan instead of rice as they dont want to bring the naan soaked in sauce, but for one regular sized meal with rice, that platter is ridiculously inpractical. It took a considerable amount of time to adjust the meal so that I was able to eat it with the knife and fork I was provided (see the "before and after" photosand it was not easy to do without making a mess.

Love this place, so tasty Indian cuisine and for a good price....my best tip now. Sahi Paneer is just delicious.

Best Indian restaurant that Ive tried so far, dishes are delicious and nicely spicy to fit all tastes. Butter chicken was great! Personell was super nice! Definitely recommending it! :)

Food at this place is just amazing. We love Indian food and we go for all it all the time when we travel, but food here was better than in any other place we have tried so far. I have a favourite Indian restaurant in Luxembourg and I didn’t think something will match the great food they have there (truly exceptional), but this one matched it without any doubt. We had butter chicken and chicken tikka massala and I definitely recommend. We will come back and Im already looking forward to it.

Very good indian restaurant, lots of choices. Fast service. Located near the main railway station and shopping centre with free underground parking. Overall it is very good experience.

Food nice, service could be better

Good service with tasty food. Loved the speed at which food became ready for us to eat. 4 stars for the overall service and food. One negative is that I was not a fan of having food color added to several dishes. It left a stain on my tongue for the remainder of the day.

There are 2 chains of Indian restaursnts in Ceske Budejovice. Gateway is dedinitely the better one. Taste of their meals is reliable and consistent. Any kind of meat is always tender, sauces are nicely flavoured and thick, bread always the best (I recommend garlic Naan). Waiting staff nice to everyone. They also have takeout.

A bit hard to find but worth it! I have been to many places on Earth (not in India, though), but this is BY FAR the best Indian food I have ever tasted (I was not into Indian food earlier, but now Im a fan). It is simply amazing. I am no vegetarian, but if I could only eat their meat-free dishes (they also serve meat dishesfor a year, I would be happy to - it is that good. The restaurant itself is albo excellent - feels like authentic part of India, it is clean but not sterile (adds authenticity), very well decorated, strengthening real Indian atmosphere. The service (Hinduis very friendly, pleasant and they speak English well. The menus are in Czech, English and German. They accept card payments. I thoroughly recommend that place and wish I could find such place closer to home.

A good place to have a lunch/dinner, portions are big enough even for a big person such as myself. Food tastes wonderful, probably one of the best Indian places in town, they have a wide choice of all different kind of meals youd want.

In the UK, the Indian here might only be 4*....but it was much better than any Indian I have had on the continent in Germany or Italy. My lamb vindaloo was very good and very spicy. A little more tomato in flavor than pure heat and vinegar, but still very good. If you are looking for a nice alternative to standard Czech meals, come here.

The food was delicious and the stuff was really nice. Im giving 5 stars because I havent eaten such a great dish for long time. I felt like in India for while. Thank you for the experience.
