Jl. Camplung Tanduk No. 10 Seminyak Kuta, Seminyak, Badung, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia, Kuta
Tempat yg menyajikan berbagai variasi menu India dengan bumbu dan teknik traditional ala India.
We ordered dal tadka and it was absolutely delicioud. Staff was very friendly. We will definitely come back.
Best indian in bali. Better then curry mile in Manchester. Absolutely authentic 100%. recommend
Had 3 meals in 5 nights staying in seminyak.Liking the new decor after lockdown. We been here for the past 10years everytime visit Bali. From very open air to new aircon decor. The food still as good as. Some changes of the new downsized menu is not on our favour. The most delicious minced lamb stuffed in chicken tandoor with egg white is no more. The only restaurant in Asia we can find this dish. Vanished. The other slowly vanishing dish is stuffed okra. 3 times we been here, not available. No doubt. This is slowly being taken off the menu soon.Do go for the mutton dish here. Good quality chunk of mutton. Dhaba mutton is my favourite.Tandoor is always good as they are using thighs here. Shame less and less mutton dish. Mostly chicken now. Getting boring. The spiciness is on point here.
Amazing indian food with some of it made in the tandoori oven right in front of us. The best indian weve had since Scotland! Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly staff with everything looking clean and tidy. If you love indian food. Come here!
Beautiful place, great ambience. I tried below food items.Veg Biryani (excellent taste, good portion)Veg Pulao (okay taste and too less portion)Tandoori Roti (very good, hot and soft, good size)Recommended if youre craving for Indian food in or around Seminyak.
Great Indian food and very friendly staff
how to take away if your staff said there is no paper bag or plastic bag in your restaurant ? 1 of your menu is too hot, you only serve it in plastic bowl and that is too hot in hands palm.
Beautiful Indian food, lovely staffπ
We loved every dish - excellent Indian food. Make sure you eat here when in Seminyak. So good we came back a 2nd time****
Good tasty Indian food and great staff
Very delicius Indian food.Specialist in Tandoori chapati.and lachha parontha.
Went Sat 18th june been before covid and resturant was getting refurnished so pleased it was open again food excellent really tasty tandori chicken great just as good as before naan bread excellent curries great very tasty and we had a couple of cocktails they where good a nice wine also staff lovely the resturant is plush looks great we had a lovely time so glad to see it back in business ππ
Great service. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Great variety.
Fresh food straight from the tandoor. Authentic taste with great hospitality.
Iβm not a big fan of Indian food actually, but honestly this restaurant exceeds my expectations. The food is really tasty and the flavours are delicious. The staff working in this place is really kind and polite, always ready to help the customers. If you like Indian food, I think is a really good option. The price is also ok. I think I can suggest to visit this restaurant.
As good as you get in UK or OZ. The chicken and fish curries we had were excellent. Plenty of rich flavoursome gravy (we requested spicy). Currently offering 40% off for dine in and take away. Last orders 8.30pm.
Loved the place. Delicious food, big portions and beautiful interior. Service was super friendly and place was worth the visit ππΌ
We ordered1. Vegetable butter masala2. Paneer butter masala3. Chapatis4. Naan*Jain menu is available (without onion and garlic )Note : if u r from India (who likes chatakdar food), just inform them to make spicy..Sabji was really good in tasteChapatis was softOverall classy π food
Nice place, big portions and good food. But itβs not really authentic. A little overpriced. It was a good dinner but for one time visit only.
Absolute and utterly tasteless food. Ready made bulk gravy with Paneer and Chicken pieces simply thrown in and not freshly cooked in the gravy. Staff have no clue about authenticity of Indian food at all. Just doing business by law of average of tourists. Nothing noteworthy especially for an Indian customer. Disappointed and wasted money.
I didnt actually get the chance to eat here, but the staff were kind enough to allow me to take some curry leaves from their tree for my own home cooking. That means theyve got Dosa and fresh chutney on the menu - good sign!!
Food was just okay. Not great at all. Itβs better to visit Queens tandoor as the food der is amazing.
If youre looking for a yummy and delicious Indian food, then Gateway of India is the perfect place. When you order, you can customise the ingredients and also be optional with the taste that you prefer. People working here are really awesome, very kind and friendly too!! I have been here for 5 continuous days and had the perfect Indian food. Geetha was the one serving us and she speaks a better English and understands your need properly.
I tried this place two times and tandoori chicken and the platter was fantastic. Mutton briyani was okay but wasnt made from basamti rice but mutton was properly cooked.Place is clean and staff is polite and welcoming.Indian food lovers should visit.
Not recommended. Does not in any way taste or authentic. Highly priced and not a place I would visit again. Vegetarian food was not good. Paneer Tikka masala had no Paneer and Dal Makhani had no Makhani. The vegetable biryani is to be served with raita. Was not accompanied. Looks like cost cutting in many aspects. Just the Nimbu Pani was good. Unless you are desperate this is not a place to have Indian food. Two stars was only because it is an Indian restaurant. π
This establishment has a sign saying "authentic Indian food", but food was anything but authentic. I ordered chicken biryani and they made it with Chinese rice. Do they know that Basmati rice is used to cook biryani, and the taste was so bland I couldnt even finish half a plate.. Also rishmi kebab had no masala except for black pepper.Totally taste less food.
I liked it. Great for Vegoβs. Good ambiance, fast service, tasty food and good prices. Especially if you get the thali tasting plate before 5pm. I could have shared it but it was delicious. :)
Food is delicious and the prices are reasonable...service is also good and quick
Its an average restaurant in terms of food quality and taste but in terms of prices it is not less than any other good restaurant. Will recommend everyone to go Ganesha-ek sanskriti. As they both have same prices but Ganesha gives you better food in terms of taste and quantity as well.
This place is really awesome and taste is very good. Indian food is marvelous and tasty. Every indian who visit Bali must go here for amazing food experience. It is budget friendly also.
Never again ! The only positive was the masala dosa but 90+k for a mutton biryani with 4 small pieces of meat and stodgy rice and no flavour and the Afghan chicken was just really chicken without any real flavour . All in all a bad experience
reasonable price but the food no where near what wev been eating in indian restos around the world, chicken birayani was like nasi goreng with some spice in it And lamb roghan josh was sweet instead of hot n spicey.garlic nan is great.
The food is decent, service is fast but the portions are modest. I had chicken Tika masala for about 70k IDR (dont remember exactlyand there were exactly 3 pieces of chicken. For that price you can have much bigger portions in other places.
Ordinary experience overall. Neither they have Indian chef nor staff. Food is just about average. If you cant live without Indian food then visit otherwise avoid.
EATER BEWARE!!!!! As a lover of indian food it saddens me to say that this is the worst indian restaurant Ive ever eaten in. Waitress didnt understand menu, no basmati rice and when food arrived the wrong curries where given out. Food was extremely bland and tasteless unless you like the taste of plastic. They then have a nerve to charge 15% service charge.
Good food, taste is good, clean n neat, not in the main road but it is easy to find, its quite cheap when compared to other restaurants
After eating Indonesian food for few days we wanted a change. Decided to try this place as we were in that area and it had a pretty good rating. The place was almost empty around 12 noon. The ambiance was ok. We ordered a prawn curry and Biryani. The Biryani was very oily. The prawn curry base was just tomato pulp and didnt taste that good. Overall the food was a big let down, I didnt expect a authentic Indian food but least expected the food to taste good. The price was high compared to the quality of the food served.Food - 2/5Ambiance - 3/5Service - 3/5Price - 2/5
Good place for vegetarians. You can order Punjabi food. Good indian taste. Little expensive. For 4 of us we paid around 600000 IDR that is approximately Rs.3000. Friendly staff. Overall nice experience.
Good food and great service. Prices are little too high.
This place had some of the best Indian food Ive ever tasted. I had the Butter Chicken and my wife had the Fish Curry, both were excellent. The service was friendly and helpful. The buttered Naan was good and the saffron rice was the real deal. If you are in Bali and you like Indian food then you must come here. It is open air with a view of the street, which isnt as nice as a beach view - but the food more than makes up for it. The prices are reasonable as well.
Long time waiting to order and get the bill. Today (15.02.18we eat on the table where was two small kitchen cockroaches. Food is not tasty, do not waste your time and money here. Thay take 15% more when you pay.
If u are searching for indian curries and cuisine, its sure is a great place as they have great menus and serves tandoori items as well. In budget restaurant with humble staff. U can also have chapati here, good for vegetarians and non vegetarians both.
Service was super and food was amazing! Totally recommend their vegetarian samosas and the Paneer Kadai. The lassy was really good as well!
Chef did not take responsibility of food having a hygiene issue. Chef and assistants should were hats to ensure that food is not contaminated. Food ordered did not meet our expectations as we are Indian and live in south Africa. We find the Indian quizine tastes should be in keeping with the standards as set by the gateway of India group of restaurants and also conform to better hygiene and preparation standards. Singh
Theres not a lot of choices for Indian in Bali - this is pretty good, although Ive only tried the Lentil dishes which Id go back for. But it was slightly pricey and doesnt have a view - otherwise they may have got a 5
not really an auntenthic indian food, but the taste is still ok
Its a hit and miss. Staff are nice and friendly. Naans were nice, fresh and they had a great selection, rice was nice too. Very big menu and loads of options including vegetarian. My meal was delicious (vegetarian malai koftahowever my other halfs meal wasnt. My other half ordered highly recommended prawn tika makhanwala which turned out to be prawns in a plain tomato sauce. Cant see why that is highly recommended as it didnt taste anything special (it was blandand prawns were small and not many of them.If you like your food spicy then you have to tell them that you want "Indian spicy" otherwise you end up with "Indonesian spicy" which isnt spicy at all. I stressed that I want it very hot "Indian hot" and I got it. Where as my other half asked for just medium hot and it came sweet (no joke!).**They dont accept American Express (this isnt a complain, it is just for your information:)**
Got dosa here which made me happy!!! But full of flies. Coconut chutney made from peanut sauce.
The name sign advertised "Authentic Indian Food" and so we decided to have some vegetarian Indian food here, the flavours certainly werent Authentic, there was a lack of balance in the spices. The staff running the restaurant had limited knowledge of the flavours and seemed inattentive. We tried only three dishes, all vegetarian, we were disappointed and decided to go elsewhere.
An Indian restaurant with real Indian food of high quality and for a good price. In the weekend there is buffet with different kind of tasty Indian food. The place is comfortable and service is professional and friendly.A good alternative for all the Indonesian restaurants in Seminyak. We can give a good recommendation because we often have diner in this restaurant.john janssen Bali 12 nov. 2015
