Empfehlenswert in jeder Hinsicht! Wir wurden besonders aufmerksam und sehr freundlich bedient. Das Essen war fein. Die Location ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Super feine Schweizer Küche, sehr freundlicher Service und Küchencrew. Auch die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm. Komme immer gerne hierher.

Das Personal ist sehr, sehr aufmerksam! Wir hatten ein Käse Fondue nach bündnerischer Art, welches lecker war. Location ist nett hergerichtet.

Wonderful food, great menu, immaculately cooked and presented dishes. Theres regional dishes on a monthly rotation which were in modern work some great flavour twists. Highly recommended.

I have eaten at the Gaststube two nights in a row, as I liked yesterdays meal so much. Im a diabetic vegetarian. The waiting staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I had the best Swiss Roesti dish ever, covered in splendid Bergkase cheese. The fruit salad was delicious. The whole thing was not pricey by Zurich standards. The place itself is handsome and spacious.

Delicious food and great service! Had the Salmon (sourced from a farm in Switzerlandpasta.Rotating menu, seasonal products and the cozy atmosphere make this a go to place for lunch.

We dined at this restaurant with the recommendation from guide book. Fondue it their signature dishes and your should have to try. There were three choice and only ordered two of them as recommended by a very nice waitress who suggested us to order the right quantity without wasting. Everything is good except the fondue is a bit salty from our standard.

Place looks great but theyre closed until mid-August. Wish this was posted somewhere on their webpage or Google instead of just on their door. Google even confirmed our reservation for last night despite the place having been closed for weeks.

Limited menu, but very nice food

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel staff and it didnt disappoint. The food is Swiss with a modern twist. An interesting side bar is that the restaurant has a philanthropic connection. We had the small fondue with figs and Kirsch. It was very good and found it quite filling for the two of us. Washed down with a nice glass of Rose and finishing with the Creme Brulee, it was nice and relaxing evening. Service was excellent and the staff very helpful. Its a short tram ride form central station or a pleasant uphill stroll from there. Highly recommended.

The burger we tried was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly. Non-Swiss and non-Norwegian people, prepare your pockets, (was fairly priced for Swiss standards otherwise)

Eventreservation für 25 Personen zum Mittagessen war problemlos möglich, Mail-Kontakt rasch und unkompliziert, Essen wurde gemäss Menüvorbestellung und verabredetem Zeitpunkt serviert, Service freundlich und speditiv. Die 4 verschiedenen Menü kamen alle sehr gut an - sowohl optisch wie geschmacklich. Unsere Gruppe war sehr zufrieden. Herzlichen Dank

Met friends for dinner. Love the interior. Great menu with a fresh take on classics. Love the burger, veggie club and Aelper Macaroni (yum! Swiss macaroni and cheese! The lunch menu looked great and had very reasonable prices. The staff was very nice and a lot of fun! We will try their fondue next time.

Our committee organized a group lunch at 8001 and they were so helpful organizing and executing the event. They did a set menu for us, personalized the menu card with our organization’s name and did a wonderful job getting us in and out over our lunch breaks. The food was fantastic and the menu offers something for everyone (vegan, vegetarian, pasta, burgers, salads and swiss specialties – fondue, rösti, etc.The dinner menu is even larger and looks delicious, I have been for the fondue before and can vouch for how good it is! The prices are so reasonable for Zürich. I was really impressed.The interior is great – modern, fresh, chic and trendy. A lot of our members have never heard of or been to the venue before and loved it. They complimented on the art/photographs on the walls, the flowers on the table and the industrial style lamps they use in the bar/over the tables. They put a lot of extra details into the design (this place used to be the Crazy Cow restaurant and you would never it know it was ever there. Completely remodeled/renovated. It looks great!Everyone really enjoyed their lunch and the Kalte Lust Ovalmatine gelato at the end was SO good. Thanks to the Manager Janina and your team for organizing such a perfect luncheon. We will be back again!

Hatten dort für Silvester einen Tisch reserviert, als wir dort ankamen stellten wir heraus das nur ein Fondue (ca. 60€ p.P. angeboten wird und keine Speisekarte zur Verfügung steht. Auf Nachfrage hat man uns einen Burger, Clubsandwich oder Salat angeboten (preis je Gericht ca. 25€). Hatten uns für die Burger entschieden und bis jetzt den teuersten und schlechtesten Burger gegessen den wir je hatten 👎🏻 totaler Reinfall. Man hätte uns vorher informieren können dass an Silvester nur ein Fondue angeboten wird somit hätten wir den Tisch storniert und was anderes gesucht , Kontaktdaten waren vorhanden. Leider Fehlanzeige!

Wir verbrachten unseren Silvester im Restaurant 8001. Die Lokalität ist sehr gut gelegen und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und speditiv. Als Silvestermenu gab es eine Vorspeise, gefolgt vom Fondueplausch, bestehend aus drei Fonduesorten (Tomaten, Bergkäse und Champagera discretion, ein Desert sowie einige Beilagen. Die Vorspeise sowie das Tomatenfondue waren gut. Das Fonduebrot war hart und die beiden anderen Foduesorten waren fade resp. klumpig. Man hatte den Eindruck, dass die Köche entweder noch nie Fondue gemacht hätten oder es am Silvester um Massenabfertigung geht. Alles in allem hätte das 8001 ein "Place to be" für am Silvester sein können. Aus unserer Sicht stimmte die Preis/Leistung/Qualität nicht überein. Sporadisch verbringen wir unseren Mittag im 8001, wo die Preis/Leistung/Qualität für Lunch-Menus gut ist. Eventuell hatten die Köche einfach keinen guten Tag.

Nice modern interior. Fondue was gut, but too oily. My expectation was probably too high.

We ordered fondue, and we all were very disappointed. The fondue was so liquidy, the proportions of fondue and wine were so wrong, the cheese didn’t really taste like Swiss cheese. In general, not authentic or well-done fondue.Having said that, the interior of the place is nice and the service was really friendly and nice.

Spacious restaurant serving good Swiss dishes. Good service and food came promptly. Try the Veal Rosti. The Beef Burger is also good and portion is big. Give the Harley Risotto a miss.
