Their food is just amazing, all up to par with service and ambience a 10/10. The quantity though is very less for the over priced food items. The way they serve the food, including the cutlery is very special. They must work on the quantity though.

their food is wonderful, really really well done, piping hot and tasty. we also managed to come across a very nice waiter, i think hes Muslim or Swahili? but his customer service was top tier!! The air-cons though😅

Ive been blessed to enjoy Indian cuisine in Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai, Agra, Delhi, each with distinctive flavours to offer. Most memorable was the innovative diversity of the delicious vegetarian offerings in Pune. Additionally, I have had similar experiences in London Soho, Mombasa, Nairobi & I practically lived along Rusholme in Manchester, fondly known as the Curry Mile during my undergraduate years in Manchester UK.Being the foodie that I am, I am always after a taste, an aroma, an delicious experience, consistency! I must say Garam Masala Restaurant in Kisumu, Kenya, meets these expectations every single time!!! Kisumu, Kenyas 3rd largest City on the shores of Lake Victoria has a gem indeed!Previously I have been in Kisumu City for work. This time I am in town to support friends who have been bereaved of their patriarch. After the solemn funeral ceremony I was keen for an uplifting experience. On visiting Garam Masala restaurant I ordered the so called Kadai Gosht, diligently following the waiters guidance. It is a 1st grilled mutton then stewed in a mix of spices. Previously I have indulged in the basic Tandoori Chicken Curry accompanied by a fluffy buttery naan bread, that never competes with the bursting natural flavours of the locally sourced free range chicken & the delicately & deliberately selected Tikka spices; it rather compliments and accompanies the proteins at each instance within the symphony orchestrated by these flavours in the palate.I am already looking forward to my next visit. Please add Garam Masala to your to try list, You will not regret it at all!

The paneer butter masala is AMAZING, as well as the butter chips, and garlic mushrooms. I highly recommend! Great service, great food, lovely atmosphere!

I love the Indian food here. In my opinion, it has the best Indian food in Kisumu. The environment is also great and the staff are pretty hands on. The location is great as well since it is easy to grab a motorbike if you need to get around afterwards. It is also located in one of Kisumuss biggest malls.

Probably the Indian food Ive had. Ever.I can highly recommend the Butter Chicken, Kadai Ghost, Rogan Josh and Chicken Tikka Masala... Its as far as I got through the menu during my week in Kisumu and cant choose a favourite. Great service, filling portions, excellent food, great presentation, nice atmosphere. Food takes a while but its made fresh, you get free dips and can watch the chefs cook. More expensive than other restaurants in Kisumu.

Located outside the main CBD of Kisumu town. Its inside Mega city. Nice atmosphere to have a meal. Food is good. Service is good. Mostly Indian cuisine is served at this restaurant. Nice place for Vegetarians as there are few vegetarian restaurants in Kisumu town. Closed on Mondays. Parking available. Accessible with wheelchair as well.

I rarely give a five star review but after my visit to Garam Masala I think its absolutely the best restaurant in Kisumu bar none. Great service, lovely ambiance and great service. The Indian cuisine is absolutely delicious and so well done. The portions are not large however, you get so full I didnt finish my food. It was some type of buttered vegetable mix with pita. I had to take the rest home. You also get some crunchy starters and dips for FREE! I have never seen that in any restaurant in this country. If you love Indian food you have to pay this location a visit.

Discovered this gem in Megacity. Being an indian, would argue this is one of the nicest indian curry joints in ke (yes!). Friendly staff, nice ambiance, great food. Costed us $30 for two (without drinks). Had a started and a lot of mains.

The food is heavenly. The staff friendly and the place is gorgeous! The dinning area outside is breathtaking and the one inside transports you to the east. OH AND DID I MENTION THE FOOD!!!! The Murgh Marsala is my favorite! (Butter chicken a truly authentic Indian restaurant. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

Modern Indian restaurant with outdoor seating and and an open kitchen. Exquisite food, tikka wings, paneer, curries etc all Hut the right note.Located opposite Mon Ami which means one can choose what cuisine to dine at in the mall. Worth a visit certainly.
