Ganesha Restaurante - Indian restaurant in Turbaco, Colombia
Very good Authentic Indian food. 200% guarantee Indian food and worth for money.Everything was good. Final Masala Milk was at peak😋
TERRIBLE!! DON’T ORDER HERE!Expensive and BAD!Indian food is one of my favorite food and I have never had it so bad.
Good food, but very small space, and oh man... soooper slow service. It took them 1 hour to serve the food, after we ordered the food. Go there if you have plenty of free time and dont mind sitting there and get boared.
We gave it a try! The service is slow and if you’ve got time it’s ok. If you have any sense of urgency then you’ll have to avoid this place.Food was good enough—it’s Indian in Colombia. We were happy with food but unhappy with the wait. WOOF ITS HOT
Good food and good service. Slightly pricey but worth it if you are craving Indian food.
Not original spices, bit costly
Great food, but if you are a spicy food eater, this is not the place, service was great, a girl (waitressthere help us to find fun places to go and visit.
Not bad food at all... especially since there is literally nothing else decent in Colombia for an Indian descent. Paneer 65 and chicken jalfrezy ws on point. Samosa was awerage but not bad at all. Good service. The place is small and has kind of a limited indian menu. But beggars cant be choosers. Lol
STAY AWAY! Ridiculously overpriced. How about 35000 for gobi snack and pretty tasteless Masala chai?!
Good food, but expensive. They added a tax to our bill which they should have included in the price of the food in the menu. I felt a bit tricked and this I do not like 🤷♂️
Very tasty but took long time for the dishes to be ready
Food is very delicious, however service is quite slow, but this is not because the service was bad, but is because only 1 person have to do service, bar , cleaning and cashier. Way to much if the restaurant is full like now..
Indian home-style food in Cartagena. Every other dish we ordered was yummy. I loved the Coconut rice and Chai.
Best indian food served in Colombia at economic price....Please do visit
Best Indian Restaurant in Cartagena!!! I loved the specials and the location of restaurant! I highly recommend this restaurant to those who travel to Cartagena Colombia. Been there and love the food and the service is the best!!! Highly recommend this place, I’m from NYC and lived in London and ate all different types of Indian food, and I fell in love with this restaurant!
The best (and the onlyIndian food restaurant in Cartagena. If you are in Cartagena and you love Indian food, you MUST eat at this place at least once. Try, you will be happy you did! I stayed a week in Cartagena, and once I found this place, i ate there every day. They cook fresh food. Staff is extra ordinary. Food is excellent. If you a vegetarian, then this place is one of the ONLY two good restaurants for vegetarian food in Cartagena.-siddharth
Good to see someone personally attending you that too an Indian, on the other end of the world. Good food
Not so much Indian food as i was accustomed to, but not so bad either. Dont expect too much. Had chapati and white rice, with mango chutney, fish curry and shrimp masala. Ambience and staff attentiveness are okay. Pricey.
Really cute. If you are looking for food that takes you back to your last trip to India, you might be disappointed.
Great service and good was also delicious.
Very nice and accommodating staff. The food was delicious!! Dont expect to find Tikka Masala here though this quaint little restaurant specializes in tasty Southern Indian cuisine. :)
This is a wonderful restaurant and less than 10 min of walk from historic districtVery much enjoyed itAlso as my experience in all the restaurants in Columbia, since they cook most of the food from scratch ..it takes them little longer than in restaurant in USABut will not be Disappointed at all PERFECT FOOD
Excellent Indian food. Great vegan and gluten free options. We ended up eating here a couple times during our stay. Recommend the dal and the vegetable pakoras!
Nice vibe. Had an excellent meal. Service was very good.
Great experience. The food was amazing and a very nice change from all the Colombian food we had been eating. Really great service from Maria José. Very relaxing atmosphere as well. Would not hesitate to go again.
We had to wait a bit to get a seat & then our drinks & food were a bit slow because there was a party of 15+ & its a small space with only one server, but the food was amazing & there was a dancer who was really entertaining.
Slow service, small size dishes. Taste ok. Dedicated service from the staff.
Must try yellow daal. Very good....nice authentic Indian food
The place looks nice and the staff is very friendly. However, the curries were not wat we expected. Although we had to wait quite a long time the ingredients werent really "integrated" as we expected in a curry.
Great food! Super tasty. Nice indu atmosphere. Tiny restaurant with wonderful attention.
Delicious fresh curries. Real authentic flavours. Highly recommend.
Finally some amazing food in the otherwise tourist trap area of bad restaurants. We met the Chef too and he was super nice and friendly
The meal makes for a special occasion; the quality of the food is absolutely worth the dollar value. The people who run Ganesha are so kind, considerate, and friendly! I could not have asked for better food, service, or atmosphere. Recommending to EVERYONE!
Do you want papadums and chutney as a starter? Don’t go here (they don’t have it). Want nan as a side dish? Don’t go here (they don’t have it). Do you want a creamy curry with the punch of indian spices? Don’t go here (they might think they have it, but they don’t). This restaurant can offer you a sodium infused cornstarch slur, accompanied with chuncks of bland chicken. Its a shame to write such a harsh review, as the staff was very pleasent and accommodating. Our waitress was very sweet and cheerful. The restaurant offered a cozy atmosphere with indian inspired decor and wall murals (they even had those cute copper bowls when serving the curry). But when it comes to the food, no posetively charged words come to mind. Due to the high number of good reviews, I am wondering if the head chef was having a vacation and that we were just unlucky. I don’t want to ruin the reputation of the restaurant, but i am merely recording my experience.
Whoooa there tiger! Where are all these positive reviews coming from?! I am a huge fan of Indian food & Ive found amazing Indian restaurants in Colombia. But this place was like someones washed empty cans on tinned soup in to a bath tub, mixed it up, and given it a name on the menu like vindaloo or masala. Ive struggled to write this review because the vindaloo didnt actually taste of anything. How do you describe that? I dont normally leave bad reviews but this place is a joke.
Atmosphere was nice, but the food was too salty to eat. Some items were too bitter and sour. And when we got the cheque we were given over 7000 pesos in coins which was extremely unnecessary
Slightly pricey, for Colombia. Expect 50000 a person (main, drink, tip). But good. If you like Indian, this is a winner.
Loved the food .. authentic South Indian food .. the flavors were right and hit the spot , right amount of salt and food was not oily ( fried items ).. decor was simple and elegant .. host was very amicable and the chef was so nice to come and chat with us before we went and cooked delicious food .. only reason I give 4-star rating is it is quite expensive and comparable to Bay Area prices in California .. would have loved to eat daily there if not for the price..
Biased in terms of my rating for this resto. loved the food and enjoyed the spicy rasam ( soup).
Wow such a delicious meals, great service and wine. They gave us a complimentary dessert which was so delicious and the waitresses had such great English which helped us relax and enjoy the meal. Perfect!!
Peaceful place! Food is delicious!
The food is excellent with a Southern India flair. Friendly service.
Awesome service, appropriately priced, cute interior and awesome food. Great options, even for vegans!!
Authentic veggie food, awesome pakora!
Surprised to find this gem in Cartagena. We were a group of six and we ordered six different dishes and we found them all delicious.
Best chicken Thali I have ever had! Positively surprised.
Great Indian food in Cartagena! A good variety of north Indian food. I wish they would add some south Indian dishes, like dosas, but still highly recommend it!
Awesome place to get real Indian food in Catagena. The owner and chef are from southern India.
Fantastic Indian food. The chicken and vegetarian thali were delicious.
Excellent Indian food. ** NOTE: the address has changed; it is no longer on De Las Bovedas, but rather is still in the Old City of Cartagena, on Del Colegio, between Vincent Garcia and Manuel Ramon y Picon.
