Very calm place located in the center of city, right next to Gandhi Maidan and almost opposite Gol Ghar. This is a tourist attraction and remains open on almost all days except government holidays. It has its own parking lot so even if you are travelling there in your own vehicle, it wont be a problem.Generally school children are brought here on tours, so individual visitors are few. It has a meeting/auditorium hall towards the back and above it theres a small library. They have a small book store too where they keep a lot of literature on or said to be written by Gandhi. Somehow new publications as not so economically priced, as they used to be.The bust of Gandhi installed here was inaugurated on 10th June 1975. Since then various construction and additions were made to this place. The picture gallery we see today as a museum, was inaugurated by Shri Baliram Bhagat on 21st of March, 1976. The library was inaugurated on 2nd October 1977 by then Governor Shri Jagannath Kaushal. The famous "Teen Mahapurush" painting panel has been recently installed (30 January 2008).

Patna sangrahalaya is the best place.its a very kownladege able place. Its a very popular place. Its based on history.
He went to the doors of thousands of poor people in his dress. He spoke to them in their own language, this was the living form of truth. No example from books, in this the name given to him by the people of India "Mahatma" is correct. Who is the other person who has felt the presence of his own soul and blood within all Indians? Cachlo power emerges. When love came to Indias door. Its door was completely open and the new greatness of India erupted on the call, just as Buddha had proclaimed the truth of belongingness and compassion towards all beings in earlier times.
Patna’s lone library dedicated to the father of Nation- Mahatma Gandhi. This library has a rich and rare collection on Gandhi . Due to its richness lots of visitors both from India and abroad come here to do research on Gandhi. This library cum museum has a huge campus at the centrally located place in the city. Of late it has become a hub for cultural actvists and researchers.
