Really helpful and nice lady. Showed us lots of maps of hikes nearby which were really useful as they showed their length and duration.

We came here to kill time on a super windy day and were happy we did! Anla at the desk was so helpful in informing us on things to do in the area and up north as well. She also was super friendly with our active toddler and made her laugh which made our day!They have some older videos playing on the top floor and a small coloring area on the second area for kids.Wouldn’t need longer than 30 minutes here and it’s free.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgable. We had several great recommendations from the staff on what to do and where to go. Also the WC are available at the bottom floor.

Centre de visiteur avec un petit musée dhistoire naturelle gratuit sur les oiseaux en Islande ainsi que sur les volcans. Il y a aussi une petite boutique où lon peut notamment y acheter des cartes topographiques. Le musée en faut la peine et peu se visiter assez rapidement ou prendre plus de temps en écoutant les différents petit film de quelques minutes.

We visited on 26th June and spent time watching the movies and viewing the exhibits - dont miss the movie of the glacial flood. We met a friendly, humurous and informative young man who gave us great tips for visits and camping - the Puffin tip was the best. I unfortunately did not get his name.

Very informative place but would be great to develop this place or the other visitor centers more on US national Park style.The staff can be more engaging, especially for kids.Documentary was great.

Really worth visiting. We were stopping through while circumventing the Ring road and found it very beneficial. The place had a lot of brochures and the person working there made some great recommendations.

If you like to hike, there are many maps available ! Great adviser behind the desk, you can also buy postcards and souvenirs. They are exhibits on the 2nd floor. If you have any questions, they have an answer !

Extremely helpful and very friendly. We had to find a replacement rental vehicle, and the employee made phone calls for us. Also provided coffee and information about local hiking.

A nice tourist centre with an informative little (freemuseum too. One of the few places that seemed to be open in Hofn on Easter Sunday!Some useful maps, brochures and the staff seemed friendly.

Recently renovate info Center. Clean washrooms. Lots of great information and maps available. Maps available for 350kr for hiking around glaciers in region. Suggest nearby Hoffell glacier. No crowds and great views.

Interesting exhibition about life in Hofn, birds in the area and volcanic acitivity. Really worth a visit if youre visiting Hofn!

You have all type of maps and helfull staff. Inside there is a small museu which has a computer connected to 8nternet from where you can book your trips/hotels.
