Nothing but good things to say about Games on Tap. The game selection is awesome and accommodates for groups of many sizes, and the food and staff are always really good.P.S. Go team 🐸!

A fun evening out for either a group or just two :service is good and the games available are quite extensive. I haven’t run into any missing pieces and most cards in the games are in plastic sleeves. However, every drink I have gotten hasn’t been as cold as I would expect, maybe slightly above room temperature. Food options are great. Some groups can be quite noisy/rowdy at times, and while I understand they’re enjoying their games (as good as it is to see), it can sometimes be disrupting.

Cant wait to go back. We live out of town and drove an hour to thos place and it was amazing, great food, amazing service, and fun was had by everyone.

Amazing place! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious. The server was basically a "boardgame sommelier". His game recommendations were perfect.

Amazing place to spend some great time with your friends, just dont understand the cover charges!

Great board game cafe. The food is good, they have a good selection of drinks and lots of board games to choose from.

Great atmosphere and lots of quality games. The food they have is good and their house made ice tea is some of the best Ive had! Though they done have very much options for any dietary needs like gluten free or vegan, some but not many. Over all a great place to go and eat and play games with friends or family or even a corporate party as well!

A little out of the way, and hard to find. But lots of games, a great atmosphere. Power went out in the middle of our time there (not their fault the whole neighborhood went downbut the ambiance of people playing board games to phone flashlights was charming.

Fun spot with lots to do. The menu is fairly basic but what we sampled was quite good. Service is friendly and attentive. Come by on Mondays for trivia.

Fantastic selection of games and tasty cocktails. Would just enjoy having a more expanded food menu.

This was such a fun Cafe. There were all kinds of games for different levels of gamers. The Cafe was clean and welcoming. The barista was also very knowledgeable about the games.Parking and access was extremely easy. The Clementine beer on tap was my particular favorite

Staff is awesome, great atmosphere. Tables arent crowded together and our server and Battista were super nice. They took all of our orders at our table while we played and still found time to help us figure out the mechanics of different boardgames. Im from out of town but will definitely come back next time Im in the area.

Visited from out of town and definitely the best board game cafe I’ve been to. Reasonable prices to play, eat, and have a drink. Excellent game selection and workers offered to help explain when needed. I like the space, a lot of time board game cafes try to fit too many tables in. Here it was spread out and didn’t feel cramped even though it was full. Very much recommend!

Excellent place with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and really really good food/drinks! The boardgame selection is also huge, Ive discovered some of my fav games here.

📞 Easy reservation. We called and were able to book a table for 6 people within seconds🤩 Welcoming staff. Our server was helpful and helped us find card games🍹 Delicious drinks ( we got the iced tea and it was amazing and affordable)🧩 Lots of board game variety💵 $6/7 (can’t remember but it was def worth the price)Overall, def go with your friends and family or even by yourself!!!

The atmosphere at this establishment was by far one of the best Ive had the pleasure of enjoying. We were greeted warmly moments after wed step foot into the locale, and asked if wed made reservations before being shown to our table. A couple of preliminary questions about what kind of board games we were interested in playing lead us to Betrayal at the House on the Hill, and one of the employees helped us understand the rules and order of operations. It was a blast, and the selections of food and beverages was just icing on the cake.Would recommend for a good time

Great environment. Lots of game choices and fantastic food at a more than reasonable cost. The server was fantastic and knowledgeable about the game we played and even helped out without questions. Without a doubt a great place to go.

My and my husbands favourite board game café. The owners, Sean and Janette, are great. Theyve taken the time to learn our names as weve gone many times over the years. Great atmosphere, good food, and a large selection of games. Theres always a new game for us to try, and theres often something new on the menu to try too.

We had a blast at games on tap. We attended their trivia night (happening on Sunday and Monday, if I remember correctlyand the questions were very fresh and interesting with a bit of local taste. They had lots of classic boardgames to choose from, and their cocktail “I need a vacation” really hit home. Definitely going back again in the future!

We’ve been twice now with friends for games and drinks. Such a great time! The staff are wonderful and they have an awesome selection of games!

Board game selection is less than others in town food is okay but not great. Good selection of drinks and alcohol is available.

Games on Tap is an absolute must in the KW region. Over 1000 games to choose from, great ambiance, fantastic food (the zucchini soup was 😍), excellent customer service! One of the employees even walked us through a couple of games to save us some time from reading the instructions. Great place! Highly recommended!

This place was fine. The staff was friendly. We went here for trivia (Sunday nightsand it was pretty easy trivia. The main negative is you have to pay $5 to play and then have a $5 tab per person. The prize for winning trivia is a $20 gift card. So the only way you actually net gain money is if you win as a one-person team. That seems wrong to me. I’ve never been to a trivia place where they make you pay to play, and never for a prize that low. Given how many people that show up to play trivia, one $20 gift card is nothing! And second place prize is just…chips. No third place prize.And we actually ordered the chips and it was literally just a handful of chips and a small bowl of Tostitos salsa. I can’t believe we paid money for that. The drinks are not too expensive though, so that was good. The server, despite being nice, never checked up on us after we received our food.Overall, the trivia was pretty fun, despite being easy, but I don’t know if I’ll go back because this $10 per person thing for a $20 gift card really bothers me. I’d go if the prize was better and there were 2nd and 3rd place prizes.

$6 cover charge for 3 hours of board games! Huge selection, very tasty Jalapeno Popper grilled cheese + kettle chips. If you like to play board games with your friends this place is one of the best!

We went for Sunday Trivia and had a great time. The staff are all very friendly, and the cafe is very well organized. They have a great selection of board games, and the trivia was super fun.

We had a great date night here. Good selection of munchies drinks and table top games. The server/host was amazing and so helpful. He had a really good understanding of most, if not all, the games rules/gameplay, making it easy to go in and pick a game you have never tried before. Highly recommend.

Love love love this place every time I go there I come home with a big smile Sean and Jeanette are amazing they make you feel so at home. The service is impeccable the staff is beyond friendly the chicken pesto panini is sooo delicious !!!! I hosted a meet up group today and everyone was in love with the service they received! I am grateful and happy this amazing place exist ! It is definitely worth my 45 mins drive …… Not only they have an incredible game selection I also recommend that you check out their trivia night every Sunday and Monday :)

I keep going back! Since "discovering this place with one friend group, Ive been back every week with a different group. They must have hundreds of games and Shaun was so knowledgeable about so many of them. He explains the rules so simply that you dont have to be intimidated by then. The snacks and drinks round out the feeling of an at home game night without the cleanup! Great experience.

OMG OMG OMG! What a great place to spend a few hours with your friends. First of all, the pricing is very cheap (6$ per person for 3-4 hoursand the food/alcohol/coffee/desserts arent pricey as well.Then the team is fantastic. They show a lot of enthusiasm and patience in explaining you the rules of the games especially if you are trying a new game.Shaun and Jeannette make sure that you have a wonderful experience. Very kind and very knowledgeable team.Finally, a great collection of games and overall, a highly recommended place.

This place is a gem! Staff are super friendly and helpful, if you want to try a game you havent before and they have they will help get you started. Very clean, warm and cozy atmosphere. Craft beer on tap, specialty coffees and cafe style eats on the menu. 10/10 recommended!

First time here, really enjoyed it. Was there on a Saturday night, no issues reserving online and it wasnt too busy. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. Had great suggestions for two player games! Flatbread pizza was delicious and cheap! Great affordable night out, we will be back!

Came here for a chill Friday date night, they have a HUGE selection of games! The people working here are also so kind to help you understand any game without having to read through instruction manuals.The menu has a good number of food options, we got the chai tea latte with the brownie cake (ok-ish tbh).Would come again for a fun night of bots games, signed up for a 45 min slot, and ended up going nearly 1.5hrs :)

My family and friends have being frequenting this spot since the beginning and have always had an excellent time.The two owners are knowledgable and friendly and are able to recommend and explain new games to you based on ones that you already know.They offer a very welcoming atmosphere that appeals to friends, families and an interesting date spot.During the pandemic, their weekend game rentals offered a cheap and fun way to stay off screen while spending time with the people you care about.Now in stage 3, they maintained the same level of customer care with an emphasis on minimizing touch points for the different games. Looking forward to spending more time dining and gaming in!

The board game part is definitely 5/5 stars. The cafe part is 4 stars, though, primarily for the price/portion ratio of food/snacks (or am I just spoiled by other local establishments?). Drinks are a fair price though.Basically be ready to spend a lot of money by accident if you come here, but also look forward to a great evening with a very good selection of games and with knowledgeable staff.

The game selection is quite big! Im really not thrilled about the menu though. Very basic items like fries, youd be surprised dont exist. It was fun for a date once but I dont see much to keep me coming back. With the prices and bland food I could probably just host something better

My first visit was an absolute treat! There is an online rental service up and running, and I decided to grab some food as well while picking up the board games I selected from their great selection, and what a good decision this was. Getting two of the most delicious grilled cheese I’ve had in a while, a divine peanut butter mousse, along with the 3 games I’ve wanted to try and was able to rent for an amazing deal before fully committing has been one of the most convenient and positive experiences I’ve had with a local business during this whole pandemic. The owners are kind and charismatic, showing you how much they care about what it is they’re doing - And I am such a fan. I will definitely be visiting on a regular basis! Thanks for what will now be a phenomenal weekend of board games to try

Wow! What a great place. The food was great and the ambiance is warm and comfortable. Knowledgeable staff were able to recommend great two player games. I would definitely recommend making a reservation but we were able to get a table before 6pm on a Saturday night. We will definitely be back.

Ive been to a few board game cafes so far and Games on Tap is hands down the best.The games are very well organized so you can find the game you want where you think it will be (and if not, the patrons help you out). Games are clean and I havent experienced anything missing pieces or being in poor shape.Good beers on tap with a menu that can feed you well while you play. The food comes fairly quickly and is priced reasonable well.The place itself is very clean, spacious, and is quite comfortable.Come here with your friends, youll have a great time!

The best board game cafe out there! Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the games. They will take the time to explain how a game is played or give you recommendations on what to play. The food is incredible. Portions are generous and food is so tasty! The mixed drinks were expertly mixed and tasted divine! There are also easily 1000 games to choose from. The space is also very clean, open and bright. If you want a great place to play games or just tasty treats then look no further!

Our server was awesome, the girl at cash was awesome - she told us about her friend that is a snail saint and activist #SaveTheSnails #SafePassage. Food and drink were fantastic, game selection was awesome, though we still started with scrabble lol Amazing tunes!!! Our service professional was the cause of the wicked playlist that set the cozy mood, real well. Finally! I mentioned ADVENTURELAND and that same service professional, mentioned earlier, wrote it down for suggestion, which tells me that customer feedback is valued and important and theyre always trying to improve service and selection fingers crossed. Ill definitely be back here, my friend and I both!

Wonderful service. Food is yummy, good for all, vegan and vegetarian included. Able to bring kids (monopoly, chess, battleship). Make sure to bring 5 bucks per person!

Its a good place. Cozy. It has an okay selection of games and a decent amount of choices for food. If you are vegetarian or have milk allergies - you wont have many options. The games are well loved and dirty. Which is understandable with how many people play with them, but replacing some things might be a good idea.

Visited Games on Tap this afternoon and had a lovely time. Had a delicious meat pie and salad. There is quite a selection of beer to choose from and some yummy desserts.The service we received was fast and friendly. The owners were very attentive not only to my group and I but to the tables around us as well. While I was there someone broke their beer glass and another table spilled their drink all over their table. The owners were quick to cleanup and very understanding. Looking forward to visiting this establishment again!
