Description
Privilege
Surprisingly spacious. They def have room for more are, exhibits. Which I’d love to see bc they are excellent curators. Special place
MoreA must visit in Galway. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
A beautiful arts centre in the heart of Galway. A restored building perfect for the Arts
MoreDisappointing. Large enough space but a very limited display of art.
Super 👌😊
Nice place to visit while in Galway. I made it though the whole exhibition in about 15 minutes.
MoreNever been
Very enjoyable walk through the gallery floors.
The building needs a massive co council grant but we really did enjoy our walk about all floors
MoreInteresting, but also kind of weird
Great shot to spent an hour or so. The staff were very friendly
I really enjoyed taken pictures of it.
Fun
Central location for this old building in need of refurbishing.
Should stick to what the name implies "Arts Centre" and not involve itself with dirty tricks in closing down traders markets and then reopening under their own "brand name"Not a good advert for the cultural city 2020.
MoreSuper party Mardy gras !!!
Good exhibition. No facilities.
Spännande, avantgarde konst. Kombineret ljud, video och fototeknik
In my element! Space, science and art are lifes combination.
Loved it!
Muy guapo...
Found a clothes market, with a lot of interesting fashion, some Preloved, some handcrafted and lovely jewlery, nice atmosphere 👍
MoreThe Galway Arts Centre is a gallery for contemporary art and truly a cultural hub for the Galway community. It participates in joint ventures with festivals and educational activities including Fighting Words Galway. There are classes and workshops. It is a forum for local and international artistic interests.Management and staff are most welcoming and accomodating.
MoreCool place
Quite small with only few galleries. It will take 30mins to 1hour to visit...Worth a quick peek....
MoreBom!
Its free but a bit small. Overall worth the visit!!
Excellent space and beautiful sense of calmness !
The Galway arts centre really is one of the citys hidden gems. If Dominick street has anything cultural to offer, this is definitely it. Featuring exhibitions that change regularly designed by local artists and writers this centre of arts and culture is most certainly worth a visit. There are open mic nights hosted by a local poet and song writer, check out @inmyorbit on instagram for more information!
MoreNice gallery space. Always worth a visit when Im in Galway.
Great exhibit space and an important part of the community.
Great place for those interested in Art and crafts
Brilliant exhibition space, it does need some maintenance and slightly better curation but the installations were excellent. I enjoyed the #Iamirish photography and video exhibition.
MoreGreat arts venue located in Galways westend, and free to the public. Has a series of rotating exhibitions throughout the year and often partners with galways arts and cultural festivals. Work a look if you are wandering around galway and looking for some contemporary art.
