The food was delicious but the service was the worst. The glasses-wearing stadf was chatting with a woman for five minutes and I was not given any guidance during that time. After ordering food, welcome food came out, which was included in the price later. I was not informed that it was included in the price. And the staff, who seemed to be the manager, gave special services only to women, and it was amazing. The other staff was friendly, but I was already very upset. It is questionable how this restaurant was selected in the Michelin Guide.

High-end restaurant in the center of the city where you can get good food prepared with high quality ingredients. The service is very professional and the space is nice. I had black pasta with truffles and chocolate cake, all very delicious. I tried everyone’s dessert as well and it was super-tasty, especially tiramisu. However, maybe I expected just a little bit more at that price range.

Wow if an 11 could be given this is where it would be given.We found this on Michelin reviewed as we love great food.BAMM…. Smartest move we made!!!2 lunches day after day! I never do that but it was SO Good!!!!!!I can not speak highly enough….. get in there.

Really amazing restaurant with quite and peaceful atmosphere. The food are delicious. Staff is very friendly and very professional with the good knowledge of their work. Of course the price is rather high but I believe it worth that money. This is a great place for the leisurely dinner. Highly recommended.

Quiet and nice atmosphere. Service is slow, although there were only 5 people in the whole restaurant.The food is regular, pricey, and VERY salty. Besides they charge 18 kuna per person for the bread you didn’t order. At the end the waiter reminds you thar you have to leave a tip…

Great location! Parking adjoining. Carefully sourced foodstuffs, beautifully prepared and presented, well-paired wines. The owner-host and his staff made our lunch a memorable occasion in an ambiance that was both comfortable and elegant.

Absolutely amazing experience. We decided to visit Gallo after doing a lot of research for authentic European meals. We order the fish fillet and one of the truffle pastas. The servers were super friendly and even split our dishes into two plates for us as we were sharing them. Service was fast but we still got to enjoy a soothing dinner experience. The prices are extremely fair and for the level of service this meal was very worth it. One of the best meals I’ve had in Europe so far!

Unfortunately its quite disappointing. The beef soup was tasteless. The shrimp pasta was good, the texture was not bad but there werent many shrimps. Also I waited for more than an hour for the main course

If you are into Italian food, this is THE place to be! Besides a perfect service and great hospitality, the menue is rich of a wide range of fresh fish and seafood. Home-made pasta is Gallos signature and must be taking into consideration. I would recommend to let the guide through the menue and beverages by the waiters as they are on point with their suggestions.In a nutshell: cosy location, perfect service, fantastic food and wine.

Vegan options are severly lacking)Price = 2/5 (expensive)Pricey but pleasant. Low scores could be due to CoVID-19 restrictions. Review based on 1 visit. Food is not bad, but severly underwhelming in terms of price. If your visit is more for the experience than the food quality itself, youll be satisfied.

The service is of consummate professionalism and food is first class.One of the best meals Ive had in Zagreb. I need not say more as this locale truly speaks for itself.

Is it possible to give a rating of more than 5 stars? It should be. Impressed by the consistent quality of their food and the level of service. They have a wide vary of menu items; lamb, calamari, chicken and you can be assured that each one is very well prepared. If you are in the area this place is a must.

Great food and service! We were also pleasantly surprised when we saw the bill as it was only about 50 euros per person for a meal consisting of a first and main course and a bottle of wine (for the three of us).

Watch out for this place. I never take a recommendation from my hotel but I slipped this time. 2 people, mushroom pasta, vegetable soup, salmon w burnt vegetables $250 usdMichelin star, keep dreaming, my wife could have cooked this meal.Service was good but demanded a tip in cash

Place is great, it has a Michelin star a d the staff is friendly. Small portions, so fill up with bread so you dont end up over ordering. Wine selection is great too.

One of the best culinary experience I had in Zagreb and only by accident as the prévios restaurant I chose was closed. When I first entered the premises it gave me a feeling of it being expensive and up his own you know what! But looking at menu we were surprised to see that its quite reasonably priced. Oh boy we were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and presentation that can well be compared to a 5op both restaurant in Italy! Superb taste, AL dent pasta and delicious house wine! Simply gorgeous! Will come back if we ever come back to Zagreb..

Very nice place to enjoy great food and excellent service. The only downside :its quite pricey.. Not the place to go for fast food :-but to have a nice evening with extremely nice and proffesional service in english and german, and maybe even more, dedictated to guarantee you the best experience you can imagine. Quality of the food is excellent, good wine, nice atmosphere. Summary: if you want to spend some money on food.. Go there and enjoy.

Nice place! Service was good, although we were forced to sit outside. We tried the tomato soup, which was amazing. Easily the best tomato soup I’ve ever had. My boyfriend had the mushroom pasta. He thought the sauce was awesome, but the choice of pasta (shortwas not the best. I had the pesto paffutelli. The pesto was pretty good, but my pasta was slightly raw and not that tasty. I felt that the pasta was taking away from the pesto. Regardless, it was a memorable meal. If you are in Zagreb, I still think this is a place worth visiting.Note: there is a “cover” charge for eating here. Not sure what/why that is charged, but it is. 18 kuna per person. Not terrible, but still unexpected.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you are seafood lover. This is one of the best restaurant I have ever tried so far in The Balkan and worth every penny you paid. The price is quite expensive but reasonable for western standard. Very cozy, staffs are well trained and attentive. Foods are well served and fresh, their home made pasta is a must try. Wide selection of wine. Will come back for sure.

Really delicious spot. Family owned fine dining establishment. Everything (from the soup, the steak, the grilled fish and vegetableswas excellent. They roll out a cart to show you the fresh catch of the day and even the porcini mushrooms. One of our best meals here. Also gluten free friendly. Just tell the staff!

Nice luxurious place to eat dinner. Fish soup was very good. But other seafood plates are little too salty, it is safe to ask less salt before order.Garden tables are awesome. Very elegant dishwares. Pricey but i think it is quite decent considering the quality of food/service. Opens til 11pm or later.
