Colorful flowers bloom in this scenic, landscaped park featuring greenhouses with exotic plants.
So beautiful and a tropical escape in the city.
Wide variety of plants inside the glass house. Informational boards explain some facts. Takes about 10-15 minutes to see. Worth a visit while in Manito Park. Limited parking just outside the door.
Beautiful, never enough time to explore all of the wonderful things to see. Every gardeners paradise.
I love conservatories, and this one was no exception. Beautiful succulents, orchids, cacti, and all sorts of other wonderful plants. Definitely worth a visit if youre in the area.
Beautiful park with lots of trails and flowers and small lake with nice views
Beautiful tropical plants carefully tended and nurtured in our cooker northern clime
Amazing. Sadly the Japanese garden was closed
It’s always wonderful to visit the conservatory.
I wish this place was bigger, but for a free, indoor, year round conservatory it is pretty great.
Loved it. Great place to teach kids about plants.
Absolutely beautiful like always! So peaceful and has a wide variety of plants the arent very common in Spokane!
Stunning flowers of all kinds and colors! Great spot to gain inspiration for growing your own garden or just to stop a for a moment to smell the flowers! There is sits throughout so you can take your time and enjoy the solitude.
For a small conservatory it has a nice collection of plants from different environments. The nearby Zen Garden is nice as well.
Great place to see unique beautiful flowers. Free to go inside as well as the surrounding gardens. Once the snow goes away, this a beautiful place to spend hours. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing.
Nice to go see every few years
Beautiful as always. Disapointed the conservatory wasnt lit. I understand the need to social distance but my Christmas spirit took a little hit. My husband and I always used a selfie at the cactus room for our annual photo. Got this great shot despite Covid.
We were walking around Manito Park today and found the Conservatory. I have never seen this before. They have Cactus, Succulents, and a ton of flowers that are more tropical than what grows in Washington. We visited in November and there were a ton of plants flowering. I really want to come back when it is actually flowering season.
Well-designed conservatory. It is worth a visit if in Spokane. Set aside 15-30 minutes to enjoy the collection of plants. It is next to Duncan Gardens, so make sure to walk through there as well.
Really beautiful place but the green house, Japanese garden and regular restrooms are closed so a hot porta-potty it is! Haha... Lots to still see and kids enjoyed the park. There is also lots of shade for picnics (which we didand the snack bar was open! Well be back next year when its hopefully all open.
Lose your worries with a gentle breeze of aromaric fragrances, Well maintained garden beds, and a vast array of roses.
Beautiful views and colors all times of year. Been going to this conservatory since I was little and I always go at least once a year.
I love this little piece of heaven! I came in May when everything was just so beautiful and perfect! I am a huge fan of flowers and greenery, so this was perfect!
Yearround great place to take a walk.
A must see during the winter time. Had an amazing time seeing all the plants.
The conservatory inside Manitou Park boasts many rare plants, and is impressive; however, it is far from the best that Manitou Park has to offer. The myriad of cacti and broad leaf plants that require a greenhouse pale in comparison to the Japanese Garden, the rose garden, and the Duncan Gardens, all of which are right next door to the conservatory. I even found the playground on the other side of the park to be more stimulating, and I didnt play on the playground! All told, I would compare the Gaiser Conservatory to a good rental movie: its worth seeing once.
Beautiful and so much warmer than outside
Most amazing collection of plants. You must go for the Holiday lights celebration starting December 13!! Heres a sneak peek! 💐💐❤❤
My favorite park, to rest and relax, love all the flowers.
If you are in Manito Park this is a must see! It is right by the sunken gardens, and open all year. We had a delightful time with our children looking around at all the plants and seeing what they were or even guessing what the names could be. The space is a little small, we had a stroller and it can get a little tight if you are moving around other people. There is a circular section when you walk in and then two wings that have lots of different plants. If you love to garden, or just love looking at different flowers I would recommend this place. It can be a quick or long walk through depending on your interests but one I would still go to!
Excellently kept gardens and a thorough variety of flora!
Small for a conservatory but beautiful all the same.
I could have stayed all day long! Free to view with ample free parking, this makes a great inexpensive place to hang out on your own or bring a date. The plants were stunning as was the cool waterfall setup. Its like walking around in a little jungle. My favorites were the biggest bird of paradise plant Ive ever seen, a huge Jade, and some really impressive cacti. Be sure to leave plenty of time to visit, as the entire park is incredible with a big traditional garden, a rose garden, Japanese garden and more! I hear theres a holiday lights event here in the winter and I cant wait to check it out.
One of our favorite places in Spokane especially in spring and summer. Great place to take guests in town. Above the conservatory with all the plant specimens. Duncan gardens is so colorful and so beautifully kept. The Rose garden you got to see it especially in late spring to early fall.
This green house is beautiful and worth a visit. I love visiting and taking amazing photos of my kids among the beautiful plants and photos of the plants alone too. We enjoy family time here several times a year. They have a beautiful light display at Christmas time too.
Loved it! So beautiful--just like an English garden at a stately home
This was a beautiful greenhouse with lots of different kinds of plants and flowers! I loved that it had such a large variety and had tags to tell you the names for everything! If you come to the park you have to come and see all of the beautiful plants they have inside here! Its free and its something youll definitely want to see!
I really enjoyed this place, they have all kinds of plants from tangerines to cactus, all kinds of stuff from short to tall trees.
Beautiful place, definitely a must see if in the area.
Best & most beautiful flowers & amazing cactuses
Amazing year around. So many places to see within a 5 min walk. Our kids love it too!
For Christmas the conservatory gets over hauled with christmas lights and tons of people! A free, fun, family friendly, and semi-indoor activity. Be sure to check the website for their hours as they change throughout the season.
Another year of a beautiful light display! Great family fun, 30,000 Christmas lights!
A lovely oasis of color, light and life in the middle of winter. The lights that they put up for the holidays are beautiful and my boys love learning about the plants. Its a great, free family outing during the holidays. We make it a tradition to go each year.
The Christmas lights, beautiful plants, and warm/tropical air were spirit lifting! Great for all ages! Easy parking and about 20 minutes to complete.
Went to see the Christmas lights display but we were to early, nevertheless I was impressed by the large number of plants they have in such a small enclosure. They all looked healthy and well taken care of. The people there were friendly and answered all the questions I had even though they were obviously busy caring for the plants. I will continue to go here when I can. Great place to spend some time.
We waited about 45 min to see the lights. It wasnt bad though. There were places for the kids to play, and my husband held our spot in line while the kids and I went to decorate cookies and see Santa along the way. All in all it was a fun free family event with lots of picture opportunities. We all loved it!
One of Spokanes most valuable gems! The folks here do a great job with selecting and taking care of the plants. A lot of hard work has been done here to keep this place going. I love finding unique and intriguing plants. The conservatory is just a hint of the beauty that can be found in the area. Visit the rose garden while you are at it.
The conservatory is in full Splendor right now. Everything from Tropicals to cacti. The variety of foliage is truly beautiful.
What a beautiful place. I love how youre greeted by the waterfall when you first walk in. Theres bunches to rest and enjoy the scenery. Its great to see the seasonal changes up here the attention to detail is super appealing. Makes even the worst Gardner want to try again LOL and it really is some of the plans are donations from community members pretty cool and I love seeing all the unique types and theyre cute names.
Beautiful plants, some very old poinsettias and so many pretty lights
