Great jam doughnut and sausage roll, good coffee, friendly staff.

Best Ham and Salad sandwich I have ever had! Have also eaten their fantastic pies 👍 Quality food in lovely dining area with great staff! Will be back again and again.

If these Sauers Pies are the same original Sauers Pies that Ive known and loved for decades, then I can honestly say that theyre the best pies Ive ever had.Next time Im in Maryborough, I plan on coming into the bakery café. 👍

A Maryborough icon. Been eating pies from Sauers Bakery for over 30yrs.Personally best pies in Maryborough, biased as these are the pies I grew up on and have very fond memories.

OMG, still the same top quality for over 50 years. I was here 20 years ago and I loved the chunky beef with cracked pepper and swore it was one of the best pies in Australia. I had one today and it is still the same.Well done!

Amazes me how places like this are still in business. Took 5 staff over 4 minutes to even acknowledge our presence even though we were the only ones in the shop. 2% surcharge for EFTPOS is archaic. Pies were just OK. Very thin pastry that causes them to fall apart easily, but taste was ok

Great friendly staff, its rather unusual to be greeted with a smile these days. The service is quick and orders are always correct which makes this experience well worth having. The food is always fresh and well apportioned. Prices are fair and reasonable.

The mince inside the pies was like glue. Too much flour.The pastry was nice

Who makes a pie with puff pastry on both sides... Stupid!! Pies are terrible, not just the pastry but the filling too, however I must say rolls and sandwiches are awesome, very generous, most of the time theres some made up in the fridge, nice staff, friendly service with a smile mostly. Overall 3 stars is fair, better than ricks but not as good as any other pie shop in Maryborough that Ive tried, yet to bring myself to try pieface Tinana.

Passing through Maryborough I remembered buying Sauers pies years ago with my mum so I googled it and was excited to see they still existed. Still awesome pies. Lovely lunch on a wet day. Thanks for the memories.

Great pies and a top selection. Excellent service and the crown in their service is the ability to sit down have a pot of tea made from loose leaf tea and provided in a China pot with China cups.

Good off street parking around the back, nice with the new renovations, a little bit pricey but still a good product, real chunks of steak in the pies, great range of things to eat 🙂👍

Enjoyed my time there this morning. Just needed some gluten free and healthy lovely food.

Always good quality food. Everything from bread, pastries, sandwiches, pies, coffee. Have never had a bad experience. They also have a pleasant area to eat in.

Very friendly services, the pies are top 10.Clean with A/C plus tables and chairs inside . Well recommended

Nice clean eat in area adjacent to the main bakery. A selection of nice booths to sit in and daily news to read whilst there. Great selection of pies and other pastries. Pricing is on par with any other bakery. My picks thus far are the kabana and cheese pie and cornish pasty.

Pies were deliciously full of meat, top pastry light and base just perfectly thick. Almost as good as the original recipe. My daughter loved the cheese and bacon sausage roll as well. Absolutely will be back!

I put 3 stars as I dont really enjoy their food but that is just me, my partner loves it. Staff are nice enough.

Always a friendly face and a warm hello in the mornings. One of the nicest Beestings in the Borough and the curry pies are delicious.

This place has seriously ruined me for other pies. I compare every pie to Gail sauers pie’s now! The fillings are so tasty, flakey pasty without falling apart and very well priced. The ingredients don’t taste cheap or just put in to bulk up the filling. Highly recommend. Only thing I haven’t enjoyed here was the custard tart which was overcooked and eggy. But do try the vanilla slice which is the bees knees!

Delicious Pies and pastrys with great service. Nice surroundings in air conditioned comfort.Would love my mushy peas fresh on top, rather than cooked in the pie.

A few years ago my review said these were the best pies around but, alas, this is no longer the case. Theyre still ok but theyre not the same pies I once had, which is sad.

Gail Sauers is worth stopping into just for the Beestings alone - simply incredible and left us wanting more.Great food, great coffee, great service; seriously, try the Beesting you wont be disappointed. It lasted us 3 days and were fighting over who could have the last bites.

Visited specially to check out the Sauers pies. Hubby said theyre as good as he remembers from his childhood. The custard tart was as good too. Air conditioned cafe is a definite improvement.

We ordered a Black Forrest birthday cake. Just amazing. Lovely service and modern dining area to enjoy your delicious treat. Very reasonably priced. We’ll be going back!

Stopped in three days In a row for a quick smart breakfast.Lamingtons are great, sandwiches are amazing and the plain meat pies are well above average.Great little dining in area for guests to sit and enjoy there food.

Cute little cafe. Went there whilst I was waiting for my daughters doctors appointment, and had a coffee and apple turnover. Coffee was good, and the turnover was quite tasty. Will be happy to go back and try more of their range

Same recipes they used at the original location. Classic meat pie is still my favourite but lots to choose from. Delicious !!

So many memories of the old days when they were cooked in a wood oven. How times change. This is a clean friendly store, many choices of freshly made sandwiches , pies sausage rolls and sweets fresh brewed coffee/tea, with option to dine in at their newly renovated eating area. You guys are the best. 👍

I love there pies they are the best, but I live in Brisbane and do travel to Marlborough every second weekend and your closed I think you should open Saturday as I and all my friends love your pies.
