Gaietys Bar - Karaoke bar in Blackpool, United Kingdom
Was very good but the toilet doors havent got locks on
Excellent place to go for karaoke, toilets are a mission to get to and seating area and flooring out dated but if you love to sing great place to go
Just happened to walk passed and here singing. Decided to go in and was there for a good few hours. Even got up on the stage to sing.Only downside were the toilets which were very dirty
Great fun pub relaxed atmosphere, decent prices for location and a laugh on karaoke.
£4.00 for a pint of diet coke, Toilets need a freshen up. Karaoke is well presented and fun.
Needs a good clean
Probably the best place for karaoke in Blackpool, and Ive tried nearly them all I think.Dee the dj is great at her job, as are the bar staff, and the security guy with the beard, and the security woman. Prices reasonable and location brill.Only negative would be, please open more out of main season!
Loved it! Plenty of atmosphere lots of fun a good evening had by all.
Had a great time plenty bar staff so you didnt wait long for drink😃
Its s great bar with s great atmosphere and really friendly bar staff. We come from Telford just to have a really good night here.
Absolutely brilliant bar, the atmosphere was electric 😍
We always end up in here on our nights out in Blackpool. We aim to stay for 1 and end up having 4.
Inflated beer prices... its blackpool.
A good laugh but not for the faint hearted!!!!
Realy enjoyed this place belter little place decent priced drinks and they were nice pints pulld
Was threatened to be stabbed to death whilst inside. Great karaoke bar, not so great clientele. But thats Blackpool for ya...
Brilliant here. Top top place. Trevor and the team are brilliant with the customers. See you soon. Aidy
Great karaoke bar, a must if you wanna sing the night away
The karaoke was good fun and its a great bar for people watching. Staff all very helpful
I saw Mick & Connor sing at Gaiety’s last night, & they were the best singers/entertainers I have ever seen.
Considering its a karaoke bar they didnt have the songs I like to sing and they dont put people in a proper queue as I was sat an hour and half waiting, even when there wasnt many in at the time. Ended up walking out and going elsewhere. Wont be going In there again.
Loved the atmosphere in there will always go in there xx
We had a great night first time in the place make you so welcome an friendly will be back
Absolutely brilliant bar.. Very friendly atmosphere and great staff. Will definitely be returning.
Visited on Friday night for pre drinks for a 18th birthday. Myself and 4 other females.Staff friendly and kind, what I particularly liked is my friend thought she had been poked by something when she sat down so she was patting the chair , the man behind the bar saw , came and checked on us and brought us a new one. This was reassuring especially with the spiking going on at the moment. This was kind of him.We had a fab time on the karaoke and drinks are quite cheap!I would definitely recommend for pre drinks:)
We loved it here had a really nice night and the drinks were well worth it 👌 would recommend going
Buzzing place to go recommend for all those karaoke lovers open until 2am excellent
Brilliant place had sing song dancing staff wot more can you ask for
Aa bit dear voka and coke 5 pounds u have a laugh good singing right anoff but not a place u can spend the night in unless u have a mortgages with u took 2 long 2 serve u we wait 20 minute and that was it quite
I really liked this place, lots if Hen & Stag parties, No problem getting served at the bar. Cant comment on cleanliness as was late and lots of drunk people spilling things lol...smashed glasses were quick to be cleaned up. If you put your name up for a song, you will get to sing unlike other places. If you enjoy a good time, pop in, its a mix of ages and good fun.
Brillant nite club, went Friday and sat nite, met lovely friends there, recommendation to any one who visit Blackpool for the week end x
Crazy karaoke bar. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and had couple of beers and enjoyed people watching.
The bar itself is very pleasant and I have no problem giving it 5 stars in this respect. However on using the toilets I was bulied in to handing over money in order to wash my hands before I left the toilet. Now I am acustom to this tipe of behavior abroad. But hear in the UK the proprietor is legally required to provide such things to get his lisince and keep his doors open to the public. Yours Rory Kerr MCFA MCGC RIPHH REHIC
Great place, a proper laugh. Even when busy it doesn’t take long to be served. The guy on the door was also fantastic and made us all feel very welcome
Love Love this place beer is reasonably priced and such a good laugh with karaoke
This karaoke bar has been going over 30 yrs to my knowledge and I feel its gotten jaded and seems to attract some seriously drunk folk who could barely stand up 😆 not a classy venue.
What a laugh, love listening to people trying to sing and those that can sing. Staff are great too, up for a giggle.
Brilliant people brilliant bar staff made very welcome I dont go anywhere else in Blackpool
Without a doubt the best Karaoke bar in Blackpool....the only time Ive ever sang in public was in Gaietys... I did Black n Gold by Sam Sparro, it cant have been that bad cos I got a round of applause! It was only later, when we had moved on to the Syndicate club, that I found out, that there had been an opportunity to have a DVD/ CD made of my " performance" .......😃😃😃😃
The hopes and dreams I had as a child came true for what was an uplifting, emotional and perfect 5 minutes as I sang "monster mash" ..a man with a bowler hat in threw a peanut at me during my performance but I carried on regardless..have had worse during my stint in Iraq with the s.a.s....beer cheap, toilets adequate...staff morally corrupt but in a nice way...so if you like karaoke then look no further...its Bob on.
The best karaoke place going in blackpool you cant beat it. Its only place where you can have a laugh with the staff and still enjoy a top night out
Whenever Im in Blackpool, Gaietys is my 1st port of call after the Pleasure Beach. I love Karaoke and am never disappointed by the amount of songs I get to sing nor with the prices or with the staff who are always welcoming and friendly and Jen the DJ is always loads of fun. Cant wait to go back again on October 5th.
Stopped off here for a quick drink on the way back to the hotel after watching a show at viva. Was only planning on staying for one but ended up staying for a few hours, brilliant atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks. Toilets in dire need of a refurb and you have to treck up quite a lot of steps to get there but apart from that its a fun night.
Bar staff attacked my husband and group of friends. Dragging a female member of our party around by her ankles !! 3 others have injuries too !Up until that unprovoked attack we had had a good time in there.Having read some of the comments on here its not the first time this has happened and management seem to take no notice and care even less. They seem to presume everyone is drunk and therefore wont remember things that happen in there ! Oh wrong they are ! Assault on 5 members of our party, sexual assault (in below comments, thankfully not my friends)They need to learn how to respect customers and treat them as rubbish - at the end of the day, without customers there is no bar. Fact. Not everyone who goes out in Blackpool gets drunk. Some cant drink for various reasons, medical ect but absolutely NOBODY deserves to be treat like thisThe place itself is very tired but a lick of paint and a complete change of staff and management would go it the world of good. Security staff who actually wear their badges ( legal requirements and not hide them would be good. The only one who complied to this stayed well out of the way as he knew what was happening was wrong and he could lose his job.
One star is over rated Rude bar staff intimidating door staff , ordered a drink at 8pm told at 8.10 leave we r closing asked if we could finish our drink first and told get out before your hurt , as a couple visiting Blackpool felt intimidated as we was surrounded by Male staff looking 4 a fight will never go again Disgusting customer Needs sorting out !
Great atmosphere and cheap drinks and the song choices are endless, hearing everything from 80s classics to modern day songs, there is a waiting list you have to fill in if you want to sing but your not waiting too long for your turn x
Great place to go if your visiting Blackpool as a stag hen or birthday party. Caters to all ages 18 and above if your up for the greatest laugh and day out drinking in Blackpool pop in you will not be disappointed.
Very cold, off season The heating system needs fixing and they need to offer FREEWi-Fi The bar also needs to offer Credit & Debit card bar Tabs, The guys toilets could do with an upgrade very dirty and smelly in there, there is no soap in the dispensers to wash your hands after, the extractor full of dirt. Apart from that karaoke is good.
Been going here for years but on this occasion we got overcharged twice on drinks.1 person charged us £11 then we got charged £14 for the same drinks. Spoke to the management about it and he basically said it was a premium spirit the second time lolBEWARE
I would not even Give this place a star. I came for a girls weekend in Blackpool with my friend, and on a Saturday night we popped in Gaietys. Two men were all over us all as soon as we sat down and after asking them to stop and leave us alone they still persisted to touch and verbally harass my friend and I. We then moved away from them onto another table and they eventually got bored and moved on. However one of them followed me to the toilet, which made me very uncomfortable and when i came out i noticed he had another woman pinned against the wall and and she was shouting "get off". I immediately shouted him to get off her and got in between them as she was drunk and very vulnerable. I stayed with her from that point and convinced her we needed to tell the bouncers and that she would be OK and i would stay with. She Told me that the bouncers would not do anything and neither would the club owners. As i have never witnessed and got involved with something like this before i had a high expectation of the clubs response to this illegal incident. I guess i was wrong because both the bouncers and the club manger refused to offer support to the woman and myself, as i too was sexually and verbally assaulted. They said that it was her own fault, that she was a slag that came into the venue every week and got off with someone new every time. The woman and I was very distressed at this point and all they did was kick the one man out that was accused. I couldnt believe the sexist, misogynistic remarks given to us. Myself and my friend were not drunk and they treated us as if we were little girls trying to get attention when this was not the case at all. This ultimately affected the other woman as she did not want to report this to the police because of the vile way the bouncers and management belittled her completely humiliated her. I am utterly disgusted with this venue and i would urge future punters to be careful entering this pub as this is not a safe environment nor do they promote safety within there pub. I would strongly urge the owner not to allow this place to continue running it the they way they do as this is unacceptable.
