GULFDALE PLAZA in Fairhope

Most businesses dont have restrooms. If I want to shop at multiple stores and I just so happen to have to use the restroom Im stuck with one or two options that arent very clean 😷🤢

Run down.... the price to wash a comforted was 6.50 and to dry well I bought it home and dried it myself ! Nasty inside also and mist if washers and dryers didnt work ....needs to be updated

Prices are RIDICULOUSLY HIGH, especially for it not to be a high end store. Even basic products and generic brands were overpriced. Really seems to be taking advantage of the community. Shop ANYWHERE ELSE.

I’m glad the neighborhood is not a complete food desert, but this is a bare minimum. Prices are a little higher than the nearest big box supermarket or big box, and then you get slapped with a 10% upcharge, making it priced like Publix.Produce seems old, I’ve gotten moldy bread, and the meats seem…pale.Selection is weak.It’s close by, but it’s my last resort.

The shopping center is showing its age. The asphalt hasnt been resealed or redone in years. Parking stripes are faded or hard to see. Loose rocks in certain parts of the parking lot. I think the sign to shopping center has been there since the 80s (rarely updated or painted).Update:Although the Gulfdale sign is missing, at least one side of it is, the parking lot has been resealed and striped. Making it look alot better.

Easy and quick in and out of Family Dollar. Social Distancing and Mask was required. They have markings on the floor, where U stand and wait until the customer finish with their transaction before U move up to the cashier Plexiglass Window.

Food Champs Grocery store is a down home friendly store. If you shop here youre gonna be welcomed as family. People that work here always asks you about your day and greet you with a smile.

The tire shop by itself is worth the visit, good people work there!

I loved the prices for the meat, everything else is extremely high for what reason I dont know, they have a deli that makes really good food for reasonable prices. Some renovations could be made to the back of the store to make it look more appealing where the meats are it looks really boring back there if the prices were reasonable for other stuff I would definitely shop there for other items!!!! Besides that the Staff is nice and the store is clean!!!!!

The Dollar Tree and Family Dollar stores are great, quick stops when you need items fast. The cashiers were all friendly!

Food-Champs has a good selection of groceries and is not crowded

Went to Dunkin Donuts drive thru and ordered...medium pumpkin spice latte & new chai latte with a dozen of ASSORTED donuts. At the window I received 2 ROOM TEMP COFFEES, VERY WEAK IN FLAVOR & both ONLY 1/2 FULL.THEN SHE HANDED ME A DOZEN OF DRY DONUTS. ALL THE SAME EXCEPT FOR 3!!!I ASKED WHY NO JELLY OR CREME FILLED & SHE SAID "AHHH I DONT KNOW, BUT I CAN EXCHANGE SOME".SHE EXCHANGED 3 OUT OF 12 ONLY.IDK...FELT KINDA RACIAL, EVEN MY HUBBY AGREED!COLD HOT COFFEE & 12 DRY DONUTS THAT SHE GOT FROM THE BACK AND NOT THE FRONT!NEVER AGAIN!

Cause its local, they go beyond to help people that are in need, and cheaper prices on a lot of things, try real hard to do the right thing!!

Scary looking homeless, and poor people, beware for your safety. Lock your vehicle and be aware of people who approach others.

I work at the Dollar Tree in this shopping mall. Its the biggest Dollar Tree in the state of Alabama! You have got to come check it out! We have all kinds of stuff. I give it five stars because its the cleanest and neatest store that Ive been in. So come on down to Gulfdale Plaza and check it out!!

I like the different stores in this plaza. Food Champs, Rainbow, Family Dollar, laundromat, Chinese restaurant, Lovely Nails, Metro PS, and Dollar Tree.

If not for food champs , family dollar and dollar tree not much of a reason to go and shop here. It has stayed mostly vacant for years since delchamps was in the place and moved its store to where food champs is located. It’d be nice if they could get some business to stay

You can get your nails done, go grocery shopping, eat Chinese food, shop for phones or do your laundry while waiting for your new or used tires to be put on your vehicle. 😁

This place is just PKWY history! You name it is been in there. Dollar Tree is the best thing so far.

Went to grocery store. Really need to fix entrance. Hard to enter from side street.

Everything was fine with the shopping. I do think some better monitoring of the parking lot would help as I noticed two cars in handicap spots with no visible signs or tags. Doesnt happen often but it was noticable today.

Food Champs is an alright place, its convenient and the new Dollar tree is really nice to have

There is a grocery store,clothing store, nail salon, family Dollar, tire place,and a place to get Chinese food in this shopping center. However, the stores in this center are only OK. They dont have anything exceptional. There is an ice cream place(Old Dutchinside the Food Champs, but it takes ages for anyone to show up there for you to buy ice cream.

The shopping centre is the run of the mill shopping centre. Unfortunately, the place is not fully utilized; there are several units available for lease that have been empty for years. The plus is that this area is easy to access with no traffic headaches like other areas of Mobile.

Easy to get in and out of. Adequate parking. Business keep shopping carts up so you dont have to worry about them hitting your car.
