GREEK TO ME in Centennial

I hate to divulge the secret of such a great gem, but the only way such a great place can stay in business is by spreading the word on how great this place is. It’s a bit unassuming tucked away in the corner of a small out of the way strip mall, but don’t let that fool you. The staff is the friendliest I’ve encountered in a long time and the food is magnificent. We had the kabobs, chicken gyro, and the baklava. If you go in for anything, go for the baklava. It’s nothing like you’ve ever had before. All I can say is, try this place, you won’t leave hungry or disappointed.

This welcoming little hideaway is the BEST authentic Greek dining in Denver area , most likely in all of Colorado. Our entrees consisted of Pastitsio and Mousaka. Both entrees were seasoned perfectly and extraordinarily deliciously prepared with great care in representing the owner’s home country of Greece.Accompanied with a stuffed grape leaf with 3 nut filling, Greek olive, feta cheese, lettuce, tomato, fresh baked pita, all so very tasty. My husband and I shared a homemade “out of this world” Baklava dessert Everything tasted so refreshingly good we were acutely aware of the fresh prime ingredients in each bite. It was an honor to meet the owners who were very busy in preparing many Thanksgiving orders of lamb for takeout. For Dino and his wife of 46 years to visit with us as warmly as family, was such fun. Dino told us growing up on the eastern edge of Greece. His home bring near the site of the filming of the movie Mama Mia.

I ordered the mousaka online, and dolmades. The order was over $30 after tip and seriously disappointing. The mousaka serving was small, oily, and served into of a Greek salad. I was hoping for better.

The music, atmosphere, food... everything was fantastic. The owner was amazing. So friendly and helpful. The food was worth a trip to Denver on its own. The lamb chops melted in your mouth and had the best flavor! Best I have ever had for sure. And to finish it off...you MUST try the Baklava! His wifes recipe and absolutely incredible. I would give more stars if possible.

This was a very good Greek Salad, highly recommend, and the Baklava was a special desert treat...

Mediocre Greek gyro. Very dry. Will not be back.

Hands down the best Greek food we have ever had. The owners take pride in their food. The owners are brothers from Greece and they are so nice. They take the time to joke around and even taught my son some Greek bc he asked. Love it here!

I love greek food and based on the reviews, decided to try. Loved the atmosphere and thought the service was great. Everything we ate was great. I had the gyro and greek salad and my husband had the Greek salad. We shared hummus. My 4 stars are coming from the variety offered at lunch, I wish they had more things on the menu. I’m merely going off experiences I’ve had at other Greek restaurants in the area and also around the United States. I would definitely go back here 😊

This is my goto place for greek. Love the gyros and salads. Hummus is amazing too. Everything honestly is amazing. Felfel for Shawarma and this place for everything else.

Have enjoyed this place 2 times in a week and wow was the food great. Reminded me of being in Greektown in Chicago. The owner is a very kind person, who likes to laugh and joke. This place is not for lightweights though, the food is great and the jokes can be tough but dont take it personal, the owner is just enjoying himself so dont get butt hurt. I look forward to having another meal in the near future.

I could not believe the other reviews, and so many of such. Did they ever eat real Greek food? This is not it. Sorry, but that is the fact. Not to even mention poor quality service etc. I could not believe what was served. One could fall for that only if accustomed to regular McDonalds diet. Disappointing.

If confronting and arguing with a paying customer for not "tipping" is accepted and is standard business practice, I will not step foot in this restaurant or any other nationwide moving forward. Im in Denver on business from Atlanta and visited this restaurant on 7/25. I spent close to $70 between briefly dining in and order food to go. Keep in mind, I PAID my tab. On 7/26, I visited the restaurant again only to be confronted by the worker that helped me the day before asking why I did not leave a tip the day before. Before I could explain that I was in a rush that day and a ton of things going on so it truly slipped my mind, Im being argued with and in the middle of the restaurant while other customers are dining. This man even went so far as to tap other customers on the shoulder and pull them into the conversation about whether "tipping" is normal in Denver. He then tells me that if "tipping" is not "normal" in Atlanta, then I need to go back to Atlanta. He says that he lives off of tips and I was in there looking for a "freebie". HOW AM I LOOKING FOR A FREEBIE WHEN I PAID MY BILL IN FULL AND CAME BACK TO SPEND MORE MONEY WITH YOU? I walked out and will never visit this place again and I promised that guy that I would inform my entire Denver team of my experience.

Went on lark and was blown away! Great food and atmosphere. Ill definitely be coming back.

Didn’t get a chance to try the food because the owner was so rude to us before we even sat down. We asked to sit on the patio with our dogs. He said he hadn’t cleaned it yet.We said it didn’t bother us, but it was clear he did not want them out there. I said if he didn’t want dogs on the patio no problem we could go somewhere else. He told me he didn’t like my tone and threatened to throw a glass of water at us.

The chicken pita and salad were delicious! My son really enjoyed the pesto pasta and chicken. The music and atmosphere felt authentic and the owner(?was so friendly.

Not very good. The pita was over cooked resulting in a dry experience. At 6:30 PM on a Friday, I was told the pasticio was not ready for dinner. The entree came with a "vegetable" which turned out to be canned peas and carrots. The gyro was ordered without tomatoes and as you can see from photo, it came loaded with tomatoes.

From Chicago, and 1st generation Greek, Visiting Denver for business and looking for a Greek restaurant. This restaurant didn’t disappoint! Traditional Greek food which was outstanding! Souvlaki platter was tender, Avgolemano soup, just like my mom used to make! The homemade baklava was the best i have ever had! Will be visiting again soon!!

I took my family of five and we got gyros, chicken and souvlaki. Everything was excellent. The Greek fries are a must as is the baklava.

I got the chicken platter. It was delicious! I wish that they offered more on the plate. It was a bit pricey, in my opinion, but food was great! It also had a great atmosphere!

My wife and I just ate here and it was great. She had the gyro platter and I had the lamb kobobs. The flavor was outstanding and The owner is super personable!

I ordered a greek gyro sandwich to go and the person taking my order was not a very pleasant person. The sandwich had very dried meat on it, no lettuce and an old hunk of a tomatoe. Terrible experience and would never suggest this place as I wanted to try it and the food is the worst experience I have had for Greek food. Just pass it by without taking a second look. Would rate it a Minus 10..

I swear by this place when it comes to Greek food. Been eating here for over 6 years now, never had a bad meal. Try the Pita bread and Baklava, you wont be disappointed!

This is the second time we went to this restaurant and absolutely fell in love with it once again. I do like their dinner menu a little more than their lunch menu. They had freshly made baklavas, Heaven!

Delicious, fresh Greek food. They treat you like family and make you feel at home. Grilled chicken pita was outstanding, with Greek fries.

Nice greek run, greek restaurant. Gyro was great and the tadziki sauce was thick, garlicky and wonderful. The mousaka was well made and seasoned perfectly. The show stopper was the baklava! Big pieces with rich (rose?)honey. The owner is really nice and service was great.

I just had the worst ever gyro lunch from Greek To Me.Really no excuse. There was not a customer in the store. The pita was half burnt in the meat was like cardboard. For 15 bucks, total waste of money, no nutritional value and total waste of time and money.I have given this place a lot of business but I will be rethinking that. When you know you have a customer that keeps coming back to you and serve a lunch that is not worth eating, as a business you need to reevaluate what you’re doing. Truly a crapshoot with this place and I’m over it.

Dino and Dimitri have been serving up great food for many years. This has been a favorite place for me and my wife for years. I have even hired them to cater a business function though that isnt a regular thing they do. I love the food, service and atmosphere!!! Great to do business with a locally-owned place!!!

It’s a small hole-in-the-wall place in a strip mall. The decor is nothing special. It’s not a chain, which is a positive for me. I loved the 60’s Rat Pack music they played. There were two older guys working there who looked and sounded Greek. The place has kind of a Vegas vibe. The guy who waited on us had an interesting sense of humor. The other guy led an “OPA” cheer at another table doing shots. It looked like they might have live music some nights based on the setup. The food smelled and tasted GREAT. Servings weren’t that big but definitely felt full at the end. It was a little pricey, but isn’t everything nowadays?

Second time here and it was fantastic. The first time, the older gentleman serving our table was roasting us- but was still somehow very respectful. Both times the food was delicious.

Absolutely amazing! Nothing Ive ever ordered has been less than stellar. The brothers treat you like family.Try the ribeye or the lamb chops for dinner. Just dont use cutlery for the lamb chops? They have the long bone for a reason!

Negative 500 stars if I could. Will never be back and will steer all my friend and family away from this place due to the extremely rude and condescending older waiter/host. Not interested in being told what to order or how to ask for things I need. He laughed when I asked him what type of nuts were in the dessert (nut allergyand then brought me alcohol after I told him I don’t drink. He also told me I was being difficult because I wasn’t taking kindly to his extremely rude comments and jokes. Worst dining experience ever.And food was just okay, meat was dry—I’ve had better.

This place was okay. Gyro was good. Salad was just okay. We were asked to combine tab so restaurant could save a transaction fee. We are coworkers just having lunch. Crazy cannot pay separately. For that reason, I will never go back.

By far the closest thing you’ll get to Greek Town from a born and raised Chicagoan. Tears were brought to my eyes from the soup all the way to the salmon. Did i mention this was hands down the BEST salmon dish I’ve ever had?! Secret family recipes should stay this way in order to keep service and quality up like this place. EAT HERE! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. And if you don’t care for Greek cuisine, at least go for the owners excellent personality. He loves what he does and it shows. 💚✌🏻

Cozy spot for Greek fare - the food was exactly what you expect from a Greek joint. Served by staff that make you feel like you’re part of the family.

Upon first walking in the interior was nice with some classics playing in the background. The overall setting was casual and relaxed. The person working was very friendly and attentive to both me and the other patrons. I had ordered some hummus as a starter and was not disappointed. The hummus there is amazing and is served with hot and fresh bread to eat it with. The food that I had ordered was very delicious and out quick. Overall a great experience and will be dining their in the near future.

Wonderful experience! I needed lunch at last minute, so I walked in, was greeted by owner wearing a mask for protection. Tables were marked off for social distancing, and restaurant was small, welcoming, and clean. I had never been here before, and couldnt decide on my meal options. I asked for a recommendation, and Mr. Dmitry was very pleasant, asked me a couple taste preference questions, and suggested the Poor Boy Combo. Great stuff, I will be coming back to try more! This was genuinely one of the beat Gyros I have ever had the pleasure of consuming! My dad and I stopped in one afternoon to try some new Greek food. We where not disappointed. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place for amazing Greek food. 20/10 would eat here again!

The salmon was delicious however I asked for no potatoes/rice and extra veggies and didn’t get extra veggies. The vegetables were still hard like they were barely cooked. My fiancé got the plate with 3 meats - the po boy plate. He thought it was pretty good but not worth the money - I agree. We also got the beets appetizer and it was NOT NEARLY close to the value... it was a few slices of beets... something you’d get in a salad buffet for free. The garlic sauce was good. The hummus addition was over one dollar for a tiny little sample cup.... pretty bummed our meal was so expensive but we left hungry.

Had a pretty good gyro and a Mediterranean salad. The quality of the gyro meat was better than some of the other places that Ive eaten across the country. Chicago still has some of the best gyros in the world. Germany also has pretty darn good gyros. It was one of those most expensive gyros Ive had.
