GO Noodle House, Gurney Plaza - Chinese noodle restaurant in George Town, Malaysia
GO Noodle House, Gurney Plaza in George Town
Description
Privilege
Superior pan mee so far is good. But would like to complaint 2 things :1Gurney outlet has promo with the Watson card (free drinkbut the notice stick only at the cashier. When asked (when we prepared for paymentthe staff declined our entitlement (when shown our Watson cardreasoned its for dine in (fact we dined in& further insisted that we have to show our card during ordering. If your shop sincerely offer the promo, the notice should be stick at the entrance or table and not the cashier.2Hakka pnm is super salty (panmee is saltier than the anchovies).
MoreNice noodle. Apart of Pork noodle Beef noodle was yummy too. Two different taste of soup. All got their own charms.
MoreThe noodle notbad, order via QR code, quite fast n easy, the portion not as big as it used to be anymore, but still good, their bottled drinks passion fruit aloe is nice but abit sweet so do take with ice ~
MoreNice food. But need to scan the qr code that have prepared at the table to order food .
Moreimpolite service, food taste and quality are worse than other branch
Inconsistent quality across all outlets. The food of this outlet particularly sucks. It’s tasteless and even the basic onsen egg is sold out? understaffed too. The queue was long yet only 2 staffs can be seen. Will not come back again. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT
MoreBad, taste soso only but price is expensive, definitely not worthy... Ill always remember the time I ate their curry soup type mee? And there was a huge caterpillar around my bowl... eating almost half. And the waiter just take it away and give the bowl of noodle back to me, like nothing ever happened. Ive lost my appetite and very disappointed and angry to the service.
MoreOk ok loh
The best noodle place, ever.
Ban me were cooked until al dente, taste great
Very modern menu! Scan using QR code! Food quite delicious for noodles and soup lovers.
MoreThis place only accepts cash, which is suspicious since it is located within the Gurney Plaza. And last week I went over to order take-away. They charged me extra RM 1.60 or something for take-away.Which did not make sense since it was the only place where I had to pay for take-away food. In fact, other places offer discounts for saving money on its staff, utensils and so on. I will never patronize this place again.
Moreyummy noodles. Great taste and good portion
Taste different compare to before. Now only so so. Not enough flavour
Good food, waitress knowledgeable to recommend too.
No friendly serve customer, no tissue paper, no ice for soft drink even the soft drink cost with high mark up...No queue management.
MoreCompared to most of the restaurants are expensive in Queensbay Mall, this is only expensive abit and still full and delicious and healthy choice to eat. Always ordering bursting meatball noodles :)
MoreThe food was really nice.
Good variety of food. Flavour and taste are good. Service is good too. Price reasonable
MoreDelectable, taste-bud enthralling Chinese noodle options. Digital food ordering using mobile phone.Dine-in food service can be at a snails pace as it also caters to delivery takeaways.
MoreVery tasty pan mie, must try hakka pan mee, its taste very good.. price is so so...
MoreThe noodles soup is really good, you can choose to add on more ingredients. We had the plain bee hoon with mushroom pork balls add on to the superior soup, RM5.50 + RM 3.80 for 4 mushroom pork balls. its awesome, the soup is very favorful with a hint of wine smell.Dried pan mee with dark sauce is another great choice. RM 10.90. Overall we are very happy with the food
MoreWaited for more than half hours, just a 2 bowl soups. They prioritize the delivery orders.
MoreExcellent food, especially the century egg dry pan mee. Staff was also very diligent, fast in arranging you a seat and serving your food. Will definitely come again.
MoreFood ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️
MoreNot sure why but somehow the quality has dropped compared to my first visit 2 years ago. The signature noodle soup is too plain and tasteless... Abit disappointed as a fan, hope there will be improvement.
MoreTrying their signature bursting fish roe fishball noodle with additional extra pork tendon balls. Its delicious and their superior soup is savoury not a thick type of soup a clear one but the broth is nice....
MoreNot bad
This is my 1st time coming to this noodle house, I think both the taste and services are good, although there was a long queue, but they allowed us to order in advance and food was coming quite fast. We tried both the dry and soup noodle, both are delicious. I love the richness of the soup and noodle, will definitely come back to try the other menu.
MoreI often come here to enjoy a bowl of delicious noodles with family members. The noodles is cooked perfectly and the broth is delicious with slight taste of rice wine. The pork balls are tasty and juicy. Please be aware of the spiciness of the chilly sauce, add slowly as you go along. On school holidays, the queue can be very long.
MoreFirst time here, love the good old pork meat ball soup, also love the fu zhou ball, pan mee also good. Recommended.
MoreNot bad but can improve the food quality
Hyper popular traditional Chinese style noodle joint next to the cinema!Really enjoyed their herbal soup range, although strangely they dont let you do add ons for it. Serving size is quite big!Noodles are decently al dente, and the soup base is swimmingly delicious. The 面线 noodles are really more like laksa noodles though, not the hair thin vermicelli most people think it is. Perhaps a mainland China style. The Golgi berries and herbs are a refreshing touch. Their meatballs are chunky like chewy mouthfuls of meteorites. Pricing is pushing the upper limits for a bowl of noodles, but nothing exorbitant.Service is speedy like a cannonball, and staff are alright although rarely at the counter due to the traffic they get. They even give you those old school bubble blower toys as a door gift.
MoreFor their signature noodle, I love the meatball that with filling inside. The pan mee taste good as well.
MoreHot soupy + wine before shopping, warm your body
Last Visit: September 2017Delicious noodles at this chain noodles house. The soup is delicious with the spike of aromatic rice wine (quite inconsistent in taste from my several visits tho). The fishballs are chewy with a great amount of fish meat compared to the commercial processed fishballs. Portions are big and prices are average and reasonable.
MoreThey got the noodle types all labelled wrong, could be misleading for foreigners, tables are always oily, service is quite slow, and it is a bit pricey. Snacks portion are too small and expensive, their drinks are like plain water with some flavoring.
Moredelicious, great soup, fried meatball & fishball are great, resonable price
Soup very numb.Mishua noodle which actually not mishua, its more like laksa/老鼠粉kind of noodle.Meatball and fish also taste like one u get from frozen food. Not recommend. You cam get better noodle in hawker stall.
MoreNot only the noodle soup is nice and worth the budgetary patron, it also offers quite variety of noodles.
MoreNice Hot Soup.
Love the humble taste of noodles, 米线 especially, not too soft and also not too hard. Matches the wholesome soup based and also the side dishes. However, I get the thirsty feelings every time afterwards.
MoreFood is very niceBUT one of the servant has bad attitude n rude... (Chinese female servant)...Hope they can improve their service quality...
MoreNot bad. New items available.
We were first attracted to the shop because we saw throngs of people queueing outside (🤣). Gave it a shot and it really proved it popularity right. Soup had a strong shaoxing wine taste to it, and its not salty. Extremely impressed by their dried panmee. It was served in a deconstructed fashion, so customers can choose to throw the condiments and minced meat as and when they wish too. Noodles vvv springy - LOVE IT. and the mee hoon kuey is v thin and easy to chew, unlike the hard starchy ones I had before - 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. The belachan chilli is v good too - extremely spicy and not for the faint hearted 🔥🔥🔥 (I kid 😛).However, side platter is super oily and you can definitely give that a miss :)
MoreLove the noodles with wine. The Foochow fish balls and the premium meatballs are really good too. The price is not too expensive.
MoreGreat noodles. Nice soup. Price acceptable.
Tasty pork ball noodle
I like the soup and the bursting pork balls although they can taste a little too salty for some people
MoreThe noodles are overpriced and the taste is so so only. The 鱼滑 tasted weird like it is made of flour. We havent get to try the bursting meatballs...maybe we will go and try again but maybe not.
