Un luogo iconico dellarte contemporanea di Bergamo. Sempre consigliabile.
Ill preface this review by saying Im not a huge fan of modern art. The gallery is well lit, and accessible for those with disabilities. The ticket price was reasonable. The artworks themselves vary immensely as you would expect lots of installations, some clever and witty, some resemble parodies of modern art. Nonetheless the gallery is well worth a visit if youre in the area. The staff are friendly and obliging.
Big art museum that is open just four hours a day, from 3pm until 7pm! And ticket desk closes FULL ONE HOUR before closing time so you have three hours per day to buy your ticket. We came 6.15pm, and no possibility to buy tickets or enter anymore, even when we promised well be out by 7pm. Ridiculous.
Galleria molto curata nelle scelte e negli allestimenti;personale professionale e competente.
Giovanna Brembilla.......
Wow....
Eccellente luogo e interessanti manifestazioni.
Mostra molto bella, personale cortese e presente...
Below average modern art exhibition.
Niks speciaals tentoongesteld.
It is a nice place , enjoyed alot
A must-see if you are on a cultural trip to Bergamo. They promote artist from Bergamo, emerging artists from Italy but initiate also collaborations with well-known international artists (we were surprised to find a collection including De Chirico, Morandi, Scanavino, Dorazio etc. We really enjoyed the exhibition on the city’s response to Covid-19. Free entrance! We will be back soon
Neat art gallery. Some famous artists pieces are to be found here but mostly the less famous pieces. Nothing too special.
Interesting exhibitions, and great that this gallery exists. Unfortunately only 3 stars because there was not a single work by a female artist on display when I visited (despite many artists being represented). Very disappointed by this. Really no excuse in 2019.
One of the prettiest art galleries Ive ever been to. Very minimalist interior, interesting arrangement of rooms. Exhibited works - interesting, broadening cognitive horizons. Must see in Bergamo!
Very interesting collection and lovely building, with airco. It was a very hot day and a very nice visit.
Will be interesting for real modern art lovers. In reality, only one Warhol painting
Very good gallery. There is a permanent exhibition as well as a temporary one. The staff is nice. Entry fee for adults without discount is 5euros and there is a free cloakroom.
Proud to have this in Bergamo! Great art exhibited, learned new things on various art forms and movements. It is obvious that the curators are passionate, since they successfully arranged the exhibition at a generally small place so greatly. The multimedia approach really works and helped to further understand your main point of the exhibition on black holes. Bravo!
Black Hole exhibition was cool
Extraordinary exhibition!!!
Empty museum.
Only three rooms with few paintings, where only the Klimt painting was exhibited (no Durer or Cranach): instead a lot of contemporary local art at the rooms on the ground. Also art students were exhibited, that is a good thing.Fortunately on Sunday, the entry is free.Anyway, staff very kind and friendly.
Ok
A few gems.
The permanent exhibition part is so small that it only takes 5 minutes to see the whole thing. It is a joke.
Ci siamo recati all’Accademia Carrara x la mostra “RAFFAELLO E L’ECO DEL MITO”, magnifica! 👩🎨
Great
Really disappointed to find out there was no touring exhibition until late January. No signs or info online. We found out from the lady in the cafe.
Beatiful gallery for authorized artworks, but I found a lot of unauthorized paintings that must be removed from the gallery.
First Id have to admit I dont know much about modern art.Downstairs is the permanent art thats free for you to see. Its definitely worth it to but a ticket 6€ (or 4€ for studentsto see the temporary exhibitions. When I went it was art by Andy Warhol. Very cool. You can get a speaker phone thatll explain some of the pieces.
Great job, go ahead !
great place for temporary exhibitions
A good place to drink a cocktail with friends while looking at artists painting.
