Funland in Idaho Falls
Description
Privilege
Tried to go to the Funland Amusement park which said it was open until 6pm - turned out the 3 rides havent been open for a LONG time! Run down and taped off. Would have been great to know after driving for 4 hrs from Great Falls.
MoreIts fun, Its been closed for 2 years tho...
Havent been to this place in years I miss it.
Wow, what a magical place for kids. It is such a magical place to take your kids when youre bored. Boy, they should change the name from fun land to super duper fun land. Totally safe and perfect. Nothing to disturb your family.
MoreIt’s so expensive I can’t look up ticket prices and the nachos make me want to hurl
MoreOverpriced and needs to be updated..........
The upkeep on it is nonexistent. I don’t even think it’s in business anymore. What remember from being a kid and going here is that it was the best thing ever. Not so much anymore.
MoreIf you want a taste of going on rides and some tasty food for a date, this is a good place to go.
MoreMy grandkids like to come here right after we go to the park or the zoo its awesome
MoreFirst come, first served is not used here. One of my children were waiting at a ride long before another family showed up, and the some of the family were able to ride their ride first, before the employee went to help mine, and then they let the rest of that family onto the ride before my mine were.
MoreVery run down place!
Ive always loved this place when I came to Idaho as a child
Rundown buy great
The kids had a great time.
Cute little amusement park. The Octopus is super fun. All of the little kids rides (train, airplanes, carouselare adorable and fun for the little ones. Love this little gem.
MoreIf you come to Funland and don’t enjoy it, it’s because your lame. Excellent kitch piece of Americana. Well worth the money and time. Not many places left like this anymore
MoreBeen coming to funland since I was a kid and now I take my own kids there. Its one of the few left in the country of its kind, and I geel lucky we have ot to enjoy here.
MoreThis was nothing like that 70s show
Very fun place to visit.
Love this place !!
Pros:Cheaper than DisneyShort linesCon:Not even close to as fun as DisneyNo rides worth standing in a long line for
MoreThis place is amazing. A piece of history in Idaho Falls. It was a treat coming here when I was a kid. It was a treat for my kids when they were young. Now I love to take the next generation to funland too. It is a local treasure. Make it part of your tradition. Get a corn dog or a burger. The prices are very low for what you get. They dont skimp on time when running the rides and where else can you see a carosel that is 100+ years old. Yes it is old. I spent an afternoon with my little buddy there are we had a great time.
MoreWorst amusement park I’ve ever been too. The employees were rude. They played Nose goes for one of them to come help us with the rides. Not to mention all of the rides look like they are from the 70s and look like they could break at anytime. I won’t be coming back here ever and no one I know will hear good things go about it.
MoreFun time for kids
Awesome rides for all ages to enjoy
Our kids love going to Funland. There’s hardly ever lines, and it’s a lot of fun!
MoreHave taken my daughter here over the years. Not super nice but fun and has charm.
MoreIts a play ground at the park
Expensive for the small selection of rides. If the tickets were cheaper I think more people would go.
MoreIve been coming here since I was a kid, and I still love it. The rides are quaint and the park is small, but thats what gives Funland its charm! Come here for minigolf, a ferris wheel, a merry-go-round, and the famous "Octopus."
MoreWent to Funland today after going to the Cinco de Mayo Celebration, with my wife, daughter, and a friend. We agreed that this place looks like it would be perfect for a early 80s late 70s B rated horror film. I would entitle it, "The Twisted Horror at Funland". The amusement park rides are older, such as a merry-go-round, a ferris wheel, miniture golf, a train ride that is slower than the slowest thing you could think of times ten. The funland is perfectly wooded with cabin-like buildings that would re-instate that scary B-Movie. They do have a little restaurant, with decent prices, as well as an arcade to keep you entertained while waiting for your food.
