Cozy. The owner Tina and our waiter Michael were really hospitable. You can request songs here and get to karaoke. Cocktails were good and prices were reasonable. We spent our last night in Taiwan here and had a blast

Funky fresh, ahhhh......bestest place I have visited so far in Taiwan. The beers are Taiwan brewed with a crisp only found here at Funky Fresh... Owner is the friendlist, sweet and with the best customer service... The vibe is just awesome with music and conversations! Please do check out the place if you are ever in town, you wont be disappointed...👏👉🤙

Tina was a great bartender. We really had fun there. Would recommend it to everybody who has a love for small après-ski like bars.

Great place! The owner is a lovely person, very helpful with the beer orders. All Taiwanese beers, IPA etc. The beer is excellent! And free chips snacks. Top place!

Charming little bar that does local craft beer and strong cocktails. Tina, our host, was super friendly and attentive and mixes cocktails to taste so youre not chancing something too strong or too weak. We were plied with snacks as well and felt very well looked after. You can sing karaoke there as well!

Great place! Amazing cocktails and beer selection. Owner is super cool and she is so nice! She makes an awesome vodka lime! You can bring food from the night market here no problem! They play new music, American/Taiwanese style atmosphere. It’s a smaller place, but we had a great F-ing time! Everything made in Taiwan! Love this place! #TaiwanNumba1

Amazing bar in Shilin market. Tina she is very friendly and good take care with us. We have enjoy with beer and a little bit thai song karaoke with them and every body enjoy together. I love this place. 🥰🥰👍🏻

Incredible spot! The bar owner Tinna was exceptionally charismatic and treated us with the utmost warmth. She even offered me and my girlfriend any drink for free! (We went with Soju shots, which were delicious and presented beautifullyIf youre in the Shilin Market area, please do not hesitate to come to Funky Fresh for a memorable experience. I love this place so much! I came here once two years ago, and now for my second trip to Taipei I knew I had to come back.Tinna, the lovely girl who works here is a little bomb of welcoming energy <3They have a great selection of beers- all from Taiwan :))It’s a small shop place, quite hipster-y, but with a lot of charm and heart. I fullheartedly recommend it. Come! ^^

To Whoever is reading this.Really I thank all the staff, Tina, Laura, Toby for making the best travel in my life. They say they sell kindness instead of alcohol. As they say they have made me a second home for me. I was in Taiwan for 10 days and I have made it here 5days in a row. Yo people 5days in a row to the biggest night market in Taiwan. This is how great they are. Kindness is second thing they are so packed with passion and love. If you want to have a taste of how the people if Taiwan are or have the feeling that you are finally traveling this is the right place. I’m from very individualized country call S.Korea and this place has wakened me of humanity and love. For that I thank again this precious place. Thank you for all, who have visited this place or working in this place.

It was amazing chill night , staff was super friendly and owner can speak Japanese English and mandarin, she basically fulfill all our wish in one place even 🎤 karaoke!! It’s quite a small place but bartenders would put everyone together , IPA was strong and fresh , we had great night here and will def come back again soon

Wonderful! The owner and woman that work there are delightful. They made sure I knew the menu and was ordering what was right for me. The place to head when full up of delicious food and in need of a drink. Also as a solo female traveler they made me feel so welcome. Would recommend over and over again.

We walked in unplanned, but it was the highlight of our day. Loved their stout beer on tap. Staff is incredibly nice and friendly! I would definitely recommend this place

Such a good find and a great start before we hit the Shilin Market. The host is extremely friendly and lots of recommendations on local Taiwanese drinks from draft beer (including Taiwanese cider drinksto cocktail with exotic Taiwan liquor. It also comes with air conditioned seating area where you can do a bit of people watching on the side of the road. This is not to be missed!

Amazing bar! Tina the owner is so welcoming and warm it’s incredible. Had an incredible night in this great located bar with good selection of different types of beer on tap and bottles and special fun cocktails with a personal touch. Nothing better than finding a small place owned by someone who really cares. I will be back!!

Randomly walk-in around shilin night market and found this place! Hard to find a bar in Taiwan. Host speaks some decent English. $5 happy hour before 9pm, 4 beers on tap. Come and find it!

I love this place! They are very accommodating and will make the drink as strong or weak as you want. Tina is a wonderful person who is very peppy and nice! And the drinks are super cute and festive. Its all fantastic and atmosphere is the best. As you can see they are super delicious!

I visited here when I was traveling solo for work looking for some decent brews. The bar is in a great location near the heart of Shilin Night Market so you can grab some food and sit down for some beers and people watch for a bit. The staff here are awesome! Tina and her boyfriend Peter were great to chat with and really made you feel welcome and just happy to be in another country getting to know the locals. The new girl Carol was an absolute sweetheart. Plus they have seaweed flavored potato chips for free snack food WHAT. 5 out of 5, would definitely visit again. Thanks for making me feel at home guys!

Good place to stop if youre at the night market. They have tastefull beers here. You have some tables to sit. We bought the beers and drinked them at home because we came by car.

讚👍🏼👍🏼. Great little hole in the wall place with Taiwanese craft beers. Just down the road from Hot Star chicken place. Get some fried chicken and grab a couple of beer. The owner, Tina, is a great hostess who is welcoming, entertaining and energetic— a great representation of what Taiwanese people are known to be around this part of the world. I know I am coming back next time.

I just love this place! It was such a chill environment with great choices of draught beer. I love a good stout and it was great trying a local Taiwanese stout. The staff are very sweet as well-- had some good conversations! Definitely check this place out after getting some food from the Shilin Night Market (it is located within the market).

Very cool place to grab a beer--great vibe, great music playlist. Beers are good. Definitely a great place to chill out and drink a beer while escaping the hustle of the night market. Owner speaks fluent English and is very knowledgeable about local sights.

Its a good place for beering!! Because of its open mind style that I just met many friends from different countries there! Once you get here, you must order their craft beers with plenty flavors. It all made in Taiwan! Best place Ive been for drinks and fun ever!
