I came all the way from Amsterdam to try this burger and WOW was it good!!! Finally a place in continental Europe that rivals you-know-who in Copenhagen. Had the Godfather, double patty, and it was amazing. Nothing too special about the sauce or toppings, which is the way it should be, because the star of the show is the meat. Perfect maijard browning and so umami. My only complaint would be how far away the truck is and that they close really early. But if youre in Stockholm you have to make the detour. Best burger Ive had all year after visiting around 15 countries.

Amazing burgers! Funky Chicken Foodtruck is easily among the best burger places Ive eaten at. The burgers are just the right amount of avant garde and the staff is very nice.

I just had a burger at 10:30 AM to avoid waiting too long. I had high expectations and yet my mind was absolutely blown away. Best burger i ever had. Mostly because of the patty. The „peppercrust“ and overall contrasts of different consistencies in the meat was like a completely new experience compared to other smash burgers. This burger is worth traveling for. You should travel to Stockholm just to eat this burger.

Simple but delicious burger, the attendants are very polite and kind. The queue is always huge, yet it is worth trying the food.

The hype is real. Was worth standing in line for the burger. The meat is great, the crust is great, the cheese is good, the bread is really good. Not so impressed by beans over rice. Since it is so hyped its also nice to watch the crowd. Most hip, many obese, foodlovers find their way here.

I got chicken over rice.Chicken was so good with their red and white sauces.If I order next time, I will go for extra chicken 🙂Only thing I found lacking was Quality and doneness of Rice🍚 - It is not fluffy and softI expected this when I paid 120: for the dish 😃

Long line but it was worth the wait! Unbelievably good burger, the serving of fries was giant and the chicken over rice was excellent! Also their brand on ginger beer from Jamaica was the smoothest Ive ever had! Definitely worth going!

As a fan of greasy rich food, of course I had to investigate this place. The patty was crispy on the the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The bun was soft and squishy, and along with the melty cheese, melds the whole burger together- in the style of shake shack (those who know, know). Base of the burger is solid, though definitely drippy, greasy, and a little messy.I ordered their special burger, ‘the supersmash,’ which changes from time to time, and wasn’t in love with the flavor profile. Was too onion heavy, didn’t love the tarragon Mayo, and balsamic reduction didn’t really come through. If I return, I think I’d want to try their standard ‘New York Style.’Fries where fine, but didn’t love the herby ketchup the serve.Service was friendly. Definitely a bit of a wait for the food, though I can’t fault them of that since they are quite popular and have a small kitchen. All in a perfect excuse to come out to Nacka.

One if the best burgers around Stockholm. Very juicy and delicious. There is quite a queue and waited for an hour. Go there early or late if you can.

The burger was very good. Juicy and flavorful. Must try it if youre here in Nacka Strand. I would say this is the second-best burger in Stockholm behind Boo Burger. For me, Boo Burger is still number one. However, Funky Chicken burger is not far behind.

Great place for a extremely well made tasty burger. Its one of a few spots that is still doing its own thing. The different burger each week makes your choice easy and makes you wanna come back for more. Quiet a long travel so I recommend you taking the boat to nacka strand from the city as a nice little experience if you are new in town. Well worth the travel.

The burger is really good. I cant say its the best burger in Stockholm but its good. However the queue is also long. So is it really worth waiting for it? Maybe during weekdays

Very good burgers different almost every week. They have an alternative if you want to try something else I was there today and I took the smashed burger very juicy and the dip was good to. You have to wait like 30-40 min to order and 30-40 min to get the food but it worth it.

My grown up kids have asked me more than once to join then on the 40 min drive here. I didnt think it would be worth it, but it was. One of the best burgers ever. And the chips was super crispy. I also love the concept of one burger type each week, next week new one.

If you come at primetime ~1200, you usaually have to wait 30 mins. BUT! Well worth the wait, the burgers are tight and tastefull, juicy but not messy, the maillar effect is crazy good!

The burger itself was very good and it was a generous portion of fries, but what brought it down to two stars was the wait time. Sure they cant do anything about the hour long queue to order the food, but if Id known Id have to wait an additional 1.15 hours to get the food I wouldve went elsewhere. But of course they didnt tell us that until we were at the front of the line, at which point we didnt want to feel like wed wasted our time. I think itd be pretty easy to put up a sign of the estimated wait time so customers could decide if its worth it.

Really good hamburgers and fries but its not worth waiting an hour in line and then another hour just to get a burger. Theres also limited seating spaces but you should be able to get a spot during the 2 hours you are waiting.

These burgers are fantastic, the best description I can give is imagine the best burger youve ever tasted and double that feeling.The lunch hour is quite hectic, try to be there early to reduce wait time. They usually say for example 25 min wait but it usually end up being 35 mins so make sure to not be in a hurry. ITS WORTH THE WAIT 😁

After several months of wanting to go to Nacka Strand in Stockholm to eat a burger at Funky Chicken Foodtruck, I finally made it over there, during a visit to the capital.I had read about their food on Burger Dudes social media, was very excited and had high expectations prior.The day was a sunny, clear blue sky, chilly early April Wednesday at noon.There were several people eating and in line, and the wait was on the longer side. I wasnt in a hurry, but I wouldnt maybe go there if nearby and wanting a quick bite and in a rush. This is much more a street culinary experience, rather than your average fast food, in my opinion.I had the double (300grGodfather burger and a coke. The price ended up with the drink, around 170 SEK. Definitely on the pricy end of spectrum. Still an expected price for the reputation of the place.The burger was very very good. Tender and well prepared (actually this particular one was on the edge of being burnt, but I didnt mind at all. On the contrary, I prefer charr and crisp. I also imagine burgers from this truck are consistent, yet surely are a tad different each time, as one would expect). The grilled paprika was quite original to me, never having had paprika on any burger before. It had a sweet tone to it, which was enjoyable and interesting. I wont have paprika on my burgers in the future, but I did appreciate the novelty at the time.They offered hot sauce that you could add at your own convenience. Im big on hot sauce, but I skipped it this time.I had no side dish, didnt feel like I needed it.Other options this particular day included New York style chicken over rice and veggies (?over rice. The latter options being quicker to prep and more convenient if in a hurry.Id give the review 4.5 out of 5 stars, not the full 5 stars because of experience related issues: long-ish waiting time, inconvenient location geographically and price.Food was 5/5.Summary: I recommend highly that you eat here. I will return when Im in Stockholm next time. Its for sure one of the very best burgers Ive had.

Funky chicken has, in my view, by far the best burgers Ive had in Sweden. The meat is just perfect and the combinations are Soo good. It is worth taking the boat to Nacka and waiting 45 minutes in line for a burger.

Hello,I really want to say that your burger was not so good. I was there on Monday & ordered 2 burgers & after waiting 40 minutes I got this. I don’t want to be rude but you really need some competent people who know what they are serving. Good luck with the best burger in Sweden. Quality of this burger was much worse then others.

Their burgers are their speciality. Top class. They also have chicken over rice which is good but not extraordinary like their burgers.

I had very high expectations and they exceeded them! Probably the best burger I have ever tasted, it literally melted in my mouth. Its a very popular place so get there early or they might sell out!! (it happened to me once)

The burger was quite good and juicy. No discussion on quality. My concern was the long waiting time, almost one hour to get served, they predicted 30 min when ordering. So be sure to have time when you go there or choose faster service with other plates like chocken on rice

Stockholms best burger!

Sweden’s best burger. It was truly so so good. We arrived before they opened so we were second in queue. If you don’t want to wait very long I recommend coming 15-30 minutes before they open especially on nice weather days on the weekend. The burger it self had a lot of flavor, not a lot of oil. The bun was incredibly unique it was so soft, sweet and savory. The chips were quite salty but the dipping sauces were quite tasty. Overall I give the burger itself a 9.4 ( one bite review scale)

Definitely worth the trip to Nacka and waiting in line for a bit! The burger tasted super delicious and felt like it just melts in your mouth! 🤤 If only they visited KTH campus or downtown sometimes 😢

Easily the best burger in Stockholm. Its an easy 9/10, its a have to try "it once in life" burger. The staff is friendly too and deserves high praise for their effort. Will definitively return.

Very good burger, 7/10. Other dishes chicken/veggie-over-rice also very good, with sauce and spices and herbs. Expect long queues (20 minand waiting time (30 - 60 minfor burger if you go during lunch rush. Rice dishes have very little waiting time, so thats recommended if you are in a hurry.

This place is simply the best burger place in Stockholm. Or wait, they make the best burgers I have ever eaten in my entire life. If you havent tried that one yet, dont waste more time and dont think twice. I live nearby in Nacka, so Im lucky. But theyre definitely worth the trip from anywhere in Stockholm during lunch time. Came here to try what Burgerdudes calls the #1 burger in Sweden, and I did not walk away disappointed!I had a double Smokey Burger which blew me away with a wonderful patty seasoned just right and grilled to perfection. The fries looked pretty "boring" in comparison to other burger joints, but surprised with crispiness and a generous amount of salt! The two accompanying dips were both delicious as well.

Easy to make a selection when they only have one kind of burger on the menu. Super tasty with the addition of mustard. Bread is amazing.

The burger and black beans salsa were delicious. The coleslaw and fries didnt stand out, but the dips for them were a nice surprise - not the usual boring ketchup and mayo. The chicken over rice was good but not impressive. All in all, good food, but not a lot to choose from (I guess thats too be expected from a food truck though). They didnt have gluten free bread for the burger, but naturally you could just order it without bread.

You wouldnt expect it, given the name and unassuming truck, but this is probably Stockholms best burger.Thats quite the achievement when you have other heavy hitters like Flippin and Barrels. While the margins between the burgers at the very top are slim, these guys somehow inch out a victory. It has a slightly meatier flavor and the crust puts literally every other burger Ive ever had to shame (happened both times I went so it wasnt a fluke)The fries are mass produced and when I saw the bag while waiting I was expecting some fairly mediocre fries. Somehow their fryer must be magical because out came some of the crispiest, most perfectly salted fries Ive ever had in my life.The double burger is big (300 gramsand despite being a small eater it goes down *fast*

A food truck that is worth the destination out to Nacka Stand. The main reason to go there is to enjoy a perfectly cooked burger from Funky Chicken Food Truck. I really mean perfect when I say it: from the caramelization on the patty, to the melt of the cheese, the softness of the bun and how the toppings are thoughtfully added to the burger. Personally favorites is the Tripple Cheese our their super smash burger. You can order 150g or a double which is 300g of perfectly cooked meat. I would argue for this to be the best burger in Stockholm. End of the story!
