Excellent multi-purpose venue for shows (standing only), fairs and other events, including cultural activities and courses during the day.It has multiple ambients, including a garden balcony area, a Cafe area and some giant multi-level show arenas.Ticket prices are often cheaper than other places too!One of the best event venues in town.

Only went for the view from the roof terrace and the paintings that show the historical development of Rio from a few set viewpoints. This as part of the Free Rio Walking Tour. Both are a good enough reason to visit this place. Dont forget to go upstairs, then right to the winding stairs and look at the mural by Tchello dBarros - its a fun and creative piece of art.

When its full and people are excited, its an awesome place. They choose good shows so that can be often. But its standing-room-only, with no seats and no real air conditioning! And shows run for hours!
