Run down dog park. Some owners are on their phones instead of watching their dogs. A dog jumped on a little girl and the owner thought she was playing with the dog. The little girls nose started bleeding. Could have been avoided if the owner was watching their dog. Better off shutting this dog park down. I’m defending my dog if he is attacked by a dog of a negligent owner.

Good dog park, 3 areas, one for large dogs, one for small dogs and the other for I dont know. Water not working when we were there but someone brought 5 gallon water bottles. Poop bags available. One old lady had a aggressive dog and didnt reprimand the dog for anything. Other than that, the other dog owns were very responsible.Update: Visited on an weekday evening. Fill with rude locals sone with aggressive dogs. One lady had an untrained aggressive dog, she couldnt control her dog. It even jumped on and knocked over a small boy. The lady told the parents of the boy to watch his son as she will not be responsible if he gets hurt. I will not be taking my dog back to this dog park.

My German Shepherd loves this place and the other dog owners have been very friendly and all I have met really tried to keep their dogs under control and clean up after their pooches messes.

A bit more run down than other parks but acceptable. Decent size for both the small and large dog areas. I find that the people there all seem to know each other. Also, and small sample size of 3 visits, I found that the dogs in the larger area to be a bit more aggressive than dogs in other parks. Might be random bad luck though. Reasonable amount of parking

First time...If your dog has no social skills, keep it close...many breeds, park is good size, with water bowls for pets to drink.

I dont know if its terrible dog owners that come here or what but the place smells like S*#T!! I cannot believe there are dog owners that dont pick up after their dogs! Your dogs are here for a fun, energy release and owners should be more responsible.. Its terrible. The area is kinda sketchy too. I wouldnt recommend going close to dark. Seems like many more large dog people come here. Ive been to the small side twice with not many dogs in there. I much prefer to drive to Olive Hill. I would only come here as a last resort. It needs to be cleaned! Its really a shame that the dog owners in our community dont take better care of a resource like this

Surprised to only see one set of dogs going at it aggressively, but very happy to see pet owners reacting properly to an attack. No screams or anything crazy, just grab the dogs and that was that. The place has so much for the dogs to do. The area is clean and the poop stations are just as clean. There are water well areas for the dogs to drink and fountains for people. Everyone minds their business and are friendly too! So far so good.

Place is horrible.... Very small and very ghetto looking with lots of over grown grass. Got to the parking lot and left. Waste of gas. So far the Whittier one is the best

I would come more often, but there is a lady with 3 Huskies, and one of them put my golden retriever puppy down by the neck. I had to take my puppy away. She didnt even apologize, and they are infested with fleas. I couldnt stay because I kept getting bit. If you read this, please be kind and take care of those fleasAddition 11/13/21: Ok so I heard the husky lady (or dude, sometimes I guess... still goes here. By the way my dog is still scared of meeting other dogs her size BECAUSE OF YOU! If these guys keep coming, I will never come again! Ill just take her to the one in Brea instead.

3 different sections which are:1. Small dog section.2. Med-Large dog section.3. Private section for special need dog. Some owners will bring their small dogs into large dog area. All dogs are pretty friendly. Dirt and grass area. One part does become very muddy in the large dog area. But it does have a lot of space for dogs to run around.

It was my girls first time in a dog park.I was nervous but the people I met were very nice and helped ease my fears. As with anywhere you go there are a few people that feel they are in charge or that this was their private park, and those who pay zero attention to their dogs. For example, there was a lady who called the police on another dog owner. As I understand she did not like how his dog, who plays hard, was behaving with her two small dogs, in the large dog enclosure. The officer who came was very nice and explained it was a civil matter. The large dog portion is very spacious with shade, real grass, and plenty of seating. The small dog enclosure is smaller but also has shade and seating. For those unruly dogs that may not socialize well, or for training, there is a separate place for them as well. It is not very well shaded, no grass, and the seating is less than ideal but at least it is a place where you could start working on social behaviors as it shares a fence with the large dog pen.Note that this park is close to active railroad tracks and can get a bit loud.Double gate entry and plenty of access to water. We had a very successful and pleasant first experience.UPDATE 7-23-21We have since visited another nice dog park but my girls prefer this one.I think because it has real grass, the other was artificial turf.

Well even though GPS said it was closed we thought we would come by and check. And it turns out it is closed but the good thing is we got to see it and there are plenty of places to sit, there is a lot of room for your dog to run, theres plenty of shade, and there are many many obstacles for your dog to run and learn and play on or you can train them if that is your bag.

I enjoy coming here there are 3 areas for dogs large ,small not sure what the other one is designated for. There are no bathrooms available. They do keep this dog park up best as can be. The winds dont help along with the pandemic. There is water readily available in all pooch areas. There are plenty of beaches in the small dog area. 🐕

Nothing bad to say about this park, love that’s it’s hidden. It gives me the sense of safety. unlike the the la Palma pooch park. Definitely recommend this one for my little fur babies. They do have separate area for larger dogs.

I enjoyed visiting Fullerton Pooch Park with one of our three dogs, Kaira, our 7 month old Great Dane. The City of Fullerton has done a nice job with the park, specifically designed for dogs. There are separate, fenced locations for both large (over 25 lbsand small dogs with water, trash cans and bags to clean up after the dogs. The park appears to be maintained well, although the grass has become extremely sparce and is mostly dirt from the exercising dogs and dedicated use. A great location to bring your dog/s large or small.

So, I came here a long long time ago with my own dog, who is a yorkie, and hated the experience. The park was tiny, and generally very unimpressive. However, I came back with my bf and his dog, who is a golden, and the large dog side is a far cry. Spacious, plenty of shade, and the atmosphere was really friendly and relaxed. She had a blast, while my dog had been very bored and overheated. Safe to say this is great for big dogs, but not at all for small dogs.

I like it because there is shade and places to sit and my dog loves it there. I sometime think he thinks he owns the place. Lol. Lots of dogs for him to play with and theres a separate section if you need to segregate your dog for whatever reason - and your dog can still see all the other dogs through the fence.

Varies on each experience but I overall like bringing my pups here have had great visits and there is never a lack of other dogs to play with and have been in good company. Wish people were more accepting of all types of dogs and seems clique...Ive lowered my score, there is a group of people that sit around and smoke and tell people what to do how you should interact with your dog and always critical ...stop smoking in a public park thinking your above all its disgusting especially when you light up when gelling us to take our child out it is so rude...still come but dont enjoy it as much as my dog. And the outsiders always are there to help make situations better...

I used to come to here often and preferred it La Palma Dog Park but NOT anymore. Ive given it many chances because I love how big this park is and how many dogs frequented the park. However, Ive run into many people that dont know how to tame or remove their aggressive dogs and act negatively towards mine based on her breed alone (shes a sweet, sociable, non-aggressive pitbull). This park is filled with dirt and can get pretty muddy. There are a few regulars of this park that I personally dont want to engage with ever again.

Friendly dogs in the large area. There is also a small dog area. In the large dog area, Ive always noticed dogs there so your little doggie will be able to socialize. Great size of space and the people are friendly as well.

Love taking my pups here. Its nice how they separate the big dogs from the little dogs. The excellent volunteers regularly stock plastic bags for poop picking up and they have water bowls out for your dogs to stay hydrated. The parking lot could be a bit bigger, but you can always park down the street. Lately on Sundays theres been issues with Church folk parking in our lot to go to Church, which is annoying.WWJD? Hed not take the parking spot of a dog owner at a dog park!

Wide open spaces for dogs to run around. There are poop bags for the dogs and plenty of water for them so you dont need to worry about bringing water. Our dogs love to run around all over inside the fenced off area. There are plenty of chairs and benches for you to sit in while your dogs play. Its nothing fancy but if you live in a condo or apt and need a wide open area for your dogs to run around in, this is perfect for that.

Great place for doggies to play, theres shade, dirt, grass, toys, doggie poop bags available if you forget yours and water spouts and bowls. Parking is right in front of doggie park so its not confusing and you dont have to search for it.

A wonderful park where the dogs can go and wear themselves out. My dogs love the trip over, playing with the other dogs and the ride home. Of course, they get a bath as soon as we get home, but going to the park is worth it.Best part, they have multiple areas to make sure that small dogs have their own area where they dont have to worry about been attacked by larger dogs. Everyone Ive met has been extremely friendly.

This is a nice well kept dog park. It was hot the day we went but they have plenty of bowls and a water spicket to refill. The one bench I sat at had a huge family of lady bugs, I though that was neat one even have me kisses and actually ended up following me home.. Lol.. My pups had a good time!

We take our dog here about once a week. In the evenings, the dog play can be a bit more aggressive than I am comfortable with but dogs and humans are ok with my stepping in to pull my pup out of any situation that I am not comfortable with. The morning is a great time to visit. The people and the dogs all know each other and are very friendly. This park is closed on Wednesdays for maintenance.

One of the nicer dog parks in North Orange County. There are separate sections for smaller dogs, completely enclosed. Another section for large dogs again completely enclosed and a third section for what kind of dogs I am not sure LOL. There are some trees to provide shade, water fountain for the dogs & bowls to share. Theres also some grass, wood chips and concrete surfaces for pups to frolic. Chairs and benches scattered throughout for owners to rest, socialize, and OBSERVE their pet. Oh yes, the train runs along behind the park, Amtrak for one, I like trains😁The park itself is Great! Only I dinged it one 🌟 , to let others know, as in human parks, there will be those that do not abide by the guidelines, ie: not picking up after their pets, carrying pets in their arms that do not get along with other dogs and bringing that into the environment. Have also noted Fur parents that do not hold their furbabies accountable for overly boisterous "bullyish" behaviors. As I mentioned previously, very much like a human park, you just have to be alert and aware of whats going on.

I think this is the best dog park in the area. It has plenty of benches, the people are really friendly, there is plenty of shade and its a pretty large area. There is more grass in this park than some of the other dog parks. Plenty of spots where the dogs can drink water. I think people even bring chairs and leave them there. It has a little elevated Hill section for the dogs. And also what looks like wood chips in an area.

Big dog area: Great park. Great size for dogs to run and play. Theres grass, some boulders, a giant tire and a small sand pit. Parking is ok, not too big. Park is well maintained and has a separate area for dogs that are not very social. People are very friendly and are more attentive to their dogs than other parks Ive been too. I enjoy taking my dog here.

Fullerton pooch park is a nice place to take your dog but there is a huge difference in the small dog side compared to the large dog side. Its obvious when you look at both parks, much attention has been given to the large dog park and the small dog park is run down and mostly dirt. The large dog park is huge and ample room for the dogs to run free and without restraint. The small dog park is small and congested even for the smallest of dogs. If you have a big dog youll love it. If you have a small dog youll quickly see the bias.

This park is away from busy streets, on a dead end, at the old Hunt Library. There is plenty of grass, and shade, with ample seating. The park is divided into separate areas for larger, and smaller dogs. Plus, another area for training, timeout, or introduction. There are several groups of people that seem to sit together, chat, and watch each others dogs. The groups are very friendly, and approachable. I have made many friends there. Water is available, and many shared water bowl are throughout the park.I live in Whittier, and have tried many parks, but this is the best. I go every morning, (closed on Wednesday).Look for my black Standard Poodle, Marley, and come by and say hi.

Ive been going to this dog park for awhile and I love it. I have never had a bad experience. The dogs as well as their owners are very friendly! This is the only dog park Ive been to where to owners gather and talk. I love this dog park specifically because its more than just a large area. Theres a box of tennis balls. Tires to climb on. Dirt area for digging as well as two separate dog sections based on size. There are always poop bags. And a water hose and bowls are also there. Theres plenty of trees for shade as well as sun. This park always has great dogs that love playing with anyone (dog or humanwho plays with them. Such friendly people and dogs. It is hidden behind a school, but theres always parking. 4 paws up!
