Please do not get sushi here. I genuinely believe that the fish was not stored properly and could make people sick. I take negative reviews very seriously because i know how they effect businesses but I needed to let others know about this.

I really like this place. The food was great. Service wasnt the best but it was early when I went and not many people were there. But I still give this place a solid 4

1st visit, 5:30 Saturday night. Only one party seated in the whole restaurant... Expensive menu, we asked for tea, "sorry, we dont have tea" That was our 3rd signal to bail out, we left. Too many clues this would be a disaster. Bye bye Fuji Never.

What a lovely place. I brought my son for his birthday. He got a sushi boat, I got the mongolian beef, and we split an appetizer. Dishes were ready in great time, temperatures were good for hot and cold dishes. Portions for price were well worth it, quality was outstanding.

Food is very good, but in the few times I have gone to pickup my food it is never ready. The woman always say 10 minutes, I show up in 20 minutes and still wait.

We got ramen bowls and gyoza. Both were delicious. We were practically the only people sitting there at 6pm on a Saturday night, other than the staff, but they seem to have a brisk takeout business. Made for an intimate date.

Great quality, relatively good prices. Sushi and ramen recommended.Ramen bowls are exceptionally good, can easily feed 2.Very slow delivery, busy restaurant. Up to two hours wait time for delivery, better to pick up or dine in.Staff is friendly and attentive.Highly recommended Asian food, one of the best in the area

Unfortunately we found a maggot in the drinking straw. The waitress apologised but this was a bit much for us to continue there.

Just nope. Aug-29.22 tried to give them another shot and still got it wrong. They have all these options to get it right and yet dont pay attention of what you Wright. So two stars ✨️ is being generous right now.

Very Rude waiter (I’m guessing because 18% gratuity was automatically included in the billand bones in my unagi sushi ( been eating unagi for years and never had this happen to me.Received a watered down lemonade that didn’t taste good, but When we said to swap it out the waiter replies “Why?!?” Like shes talking to a kid or someone eating for free, also snatching menus out of our hands after we order. I’ll never come back here, who do you think you are ma’am?

Best Sushi in the area by far. Prices are about the same as everywhere, but the portion size is larger than others and the freshness was great. Thank you.

Been coming here for years as a college student and am always astonished at how affordable Fuji Lowells meals are. The food is of decent quality and you can buy a meal for only $12, which is much more competitive than other Asian restaurants, or fast food joints for that matter, in the area of downtown Lowell.

This is the worst store Ive ever had in lowell. The owner of this store is very energy-efficient, and is reluctant to turn on the lights at night. Food is not fresh. Their utensils are not clean and you can clearly see the water stains on the utensils. Their waiter was arrogant, I waited nearly 10 minutes to answer me because the waiter was playing with her phone, Sushi is poured on the plate as it is served

We order from here all the time. Tonight we placed an order at 6pm, it’s currently 7:55pm with no delivery. Manager said they *just made* the food and should be here in 10 minutes. She wouldn’t even refund me when I said we didn’t want it anymore. Won’t be ordering from here and if we do, I’ll order from door dash so I can get my money back.

If I could rate this place no stars , I WOULD ! Ordered from door dash & when I received my food instead of fried shrimp they sent me fried broccoli & sweet potatoes which I am ALLERGIC to . Door dash easily refunded me but once they did that I get a call on my phone from what I’m assuming is to be the manager of this place . She started asking me why did I get a refund from door dash & proceeded to tell me that I received what I ordered when that was not the case . She then told me that I should have contacted them instead of door dash & that if I ordered online I should have called & double checked the order with them because what it states online isn’t the same in the actual store . The whole time I was on the phone she made me so uncomfortable ! She then stated if I was allergic to a certain type of food I should have let them know but why should I do that when I never even ordered it ? Terrible customer service !!!

not a bad meal here. came here for dinner with my boyfriend and the we had a good time. the food came out timely and was some petty good sushi. I gave them 4 stars because we had both ordered a house chardonnay and it tasted terrible.. as if it had been opened a while ago and had gone unused. minor bump in the road. nevertheless, we left full and with some take-out.

Disappointed by this restaurants sushi. Dont waste your money here. The sushi rolls were not very professional: falling apart, misshapen, too large to fit in your mouth, and the fish was not very fresh. Some of the rolls were completely different from what was listed on the menu, even after confirming we did get the right order. Hope you dont have food allergies! Every roll was also covered by the same sauce, so most ended up tasting the same.Beyond the food, the place feels like a dive bar inside. Its dimly lit other than by the flashing Christmas tree lights on the ceiling and TVs at the bar. Drinks were overpriced and of course no drink prices were listed on the menu. The service was fine.

We met friends for dinner before a Lowell Summer Music show. Four of us had sushi and the fifth opted for Pad Thai. The sushi was fresh and very tasty, generous portions and beautiful presentation. The wasabi was kickin! Will be back.

Worst customer service i ever had in my life! There where 2 people working there on a Sunday night. The guy that does the Sushi was cleaning his fingernails, right in front of us, after waiting for someone to come to our table after 7 mins, to top it off. Also may i remind everyone, there was just 3 people eating there. And after the food being so bad, nevertheless, buy far the worst customer service I ever had in my life. I decided to not leave a tip. The lady cursed me out and said “ you Americans are cheap! This is why my people dont like you all”. I could not believe what i witnessed. I made it my mission to call the news channel and report this restaurant. I will never eat there or in any of there restaurants ever again!

First time trying it tonight. Food was ready quickly but was so bland and dry. Vegetable lo mein tasted old and flavorless. Rice was hard. Teriyaki chicken tasted like leftover from a few days ago. Chicken fingers were inedible. Caused instant stomach upset for everyone and we will never return. Unacceptable.

This place is great consistently fresh food. The staff is so hard working and they even Added ramen to the menu. The staff will treat you like family. My favorite roll is their salmon avocado or the spicy yellow tail.

Worst place in Lowell !! I went with my friends and we were very poorly attended, the food was delayed, the waitress did not answer us when called, we had no water refill and in the end stipulated a value for the tips, we did not pay the tips stipulated by her and she shouted at us and asked us not to go back to her restaurant anymore! I didnt have an experience as disrespectful as that!

I came in today just as they opened up so it was serene. Between classes this is a good place to go and get your sushi fix, I found the shashimi plate to be the perfect size for just me, and it came with miso soup. The server was very polite and their phones were already ringing with orders when I came in, but she made sure I was sitting and my food was brought to me as soon as it was done. The shashimi is excellent and looks great. I already ate two before I took my photo but the display is really nice as well.I find the prices to be affordable and I will come back when I can. Thanks Fuji Lowell!

If their service was half as good as their food, I would have given this place a better rating. More than 20 minutes to just get us waters and that despite asking twice. Not once did the waitress check on us after the food was served. They never bothered to refill the waters. You can go to this restaurant if you just care about the food and not about the service offered to you.

I appreciated having the hot food packed in one bag and the cold food in another. The noodles were fully packed into the container. It was a good size for the price. I didnt like that the "sauce" was just placed on top of the food. I poured the contents into a large bowl to mix myself. The sushi was nothing special, but didnt taste fishy.

I was there today and the lady was so rude to us and at the end after paying she forced us to pay 10% tip I promise to never come back , the food was so so bad .we asked for tooth picks and they refused to give us ,even the cheapest napkins it was a struggle to get a second one. Please take into consideration. I am angry and unhappy ( is it because we were black in color or that’s how all customers are treated)

The food here was phenomenal, especially given the fantastic price. The staff were very kind and food was prompt. I came on a trip for a conference and was nervous about the price for a downtown sushi restaurant, but there was no need to worry, and there is a fantastic selection of sushi, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend

My friends and I went to Fuji after we saw how disgusting Mandarin asian bistro was. And this place is awesomeThe sushi was great and it wasnt that expensive either for what you get. The seaweed salad was really good too.The menu is divided into Japanese food (sushiand then normal Chinese food. I havent tried the Chinese food but I would just stick with the sushi anyway.

I had a wonderful experience at Fuji this past weekend. The sushi is inventive, fresh and delicious with plenty of creative selections for vegetarians as well. The presentation is beautiful with a whimsical touch from the heart. I would recommend the Goldfish roll (not actually goldfishand the pan seared Peking ravioli. The cruisine is very authentic to traditional dishes and the prices are amazing for the quality! The owners are very friendly. Great experience, nice atmosphere! I was surprised that not a lot of people were dining there. This this place is a hidden gem and a fairly new establishment, so give them a try!

I had a sushi catering order for a Christmas party and the food was absolutely spectacular! All the seafood was fresh and the elements of the sushi were treated with finesse and skill. Highly recommend to anyone who would love a treat for their palette! I will be looking forward to the next holiday season with Fuji!

Fuji was AMAZING! Right in the heart of down town Lowell, Ma., this Japanese & Chinese culinary experience is waiting for you! The lunch special is reasonably priced ($7.95 normally and $9.75 on the weekendsCall and double check though. Besides the food, I loved how unexpected the spice was. My husband and I walked in on a very quiet Sunday afternoon. Im not sure if they had any other customers that day but when walked in we were the only two people there (other than our hostess/waitress and cook). The restaurant was so expansive with mood lights in the ceiling creating the perfect ambiance. Our food was so good that re wanted to press rewind and eat it all over again. Please go eat at Fuji! Youll thank me later!!!

While walking around Downtown Lowell with my Mother we stumbled across a brand new restaurant. Mom didnt notice at the time but as we walked in the first thing I saw was the still up Grand Opening sign on the entry divider that directs patrons straight to the main counter. The woman behind it noticed our arrival with in seconds. Mom took the lead requesting a seat for two and the woman immediately snatched up menus and lead us into a fairly empty dining room, at the time, to a very comfortable booth. The menus were placed at each setting before we even had a chance to sit, and they were very patient enough to allow us the time needed to decide what we wanted. Mom taking more time to decide what she was going to have than I.The service was very prompt in getting our drink orders and checking a few times to see if we were ready to order. And I really didnt notice all that long a wait from ordering to the arrival of the food.Across the room from us was a long bar counter, one section devoted to Sushi and the other section seemed to be for drinks. Though Mom and I stuck to sodas, which were promptly refilled a few times during our stay.At one point the Owner/Chef came out to check to see if we had everything we needed, admittedly at the time I didnt make the connection to who he was. Mom informed me later after we had left. And given the way the food tasted, one could definitely taste the pride that the man had added into his food.Mom got the Sizzling Seafood Festival, and I got the Sesame Chicken dinner. Now most Asian restaurants Ive visited have a certain format in how they present the food. Usually if youve been to one place youve been to them all with only the exact styles differing. No so with Ting Hao Bistro, normally even steamed rice is dumped onto a plate. This time however it looked like a small dome on one section of the serving dish. Normally, spare ribs as an appetizer, gets a small pile of meat strips in red sauce making them taste good. This time I got an actual rib on the bone, and the egg roll had at least been rolled earlier in the day if not made right after I asked for one. It was that fresh.Ive had good sesame chicken and Ive had bad ones. What I had tonight were, I think, so far the best Ive ever tasted and had a slight crunch to them. Mom seemed just as happy with her dish as well.As to the Staff, from what I experienced they were just as good as the food. As stated before, patient with us while we decided what we wanted. Made sure our drinks were kept filled until we were finished with them. And were extremely fast at removing the dishes once we were done.As to the price, the main menu was divided into two main sections. One that was comparable to other restaurants with prices to match, ranging between $6 to $25 or so and the other section was specifically Japanese Cuisine included the Sushi menu and other high end dishes. The prices on that half of the menu were distinctly higher. That half of the menu also had an eye catching warning that marked all the dishes that would have raw seafood. The warning in question being in bold red letters at the bottom of the first page. And the menu also had at least one note requesting they be informed of any allergies before any orders were placed.

Lovely place, both sleek and cozy. Curried chicken was both pretty and tasty in a light sauce. I would have liked it spicier and the manager took it into consideration for the future. You can always ask for hotter when you order, as in most Chinese restaurants. Plates and silverware looked appealing. Companion loved the Mai Tais. Re the eggroll: dough-to-filling ratio was too high; everything else was just fine. The restaurant interior is private from street view. Management was very accommodating and honest. Prices I found quite fair.
