Fuji Coffee House & Restaurant - Restaurant in Thongwa, Myanmar
Variety of food from breakfast to dinner!Traditional Burmese Food to Japanese, western! All in one place!
Waiter didnt notic me until I yell at them for menu.
Not bad, but steak was a bit pricey
Best services. Quite Expensive.
Good ambience and food.
Food is good. Ambiance not so great. I will have to come back because I can’t see what everyone is raving about
A great place for business and formal meeting. It was decorated neatly and the service was great. Although it provides a variety of cuisine, the food was a bit underwhelming.
The best tempura Ive tried in Yangon so far.A wide choice of breakfast menu and dimsum dishes. Plenty of seats or private rooms but car parking is quite packed on weekend mornings.Staffs and security are nice even though they are super busy.Packaging for take away order was neat. No wonder this place has been famous for long time.
Decoration is neat and dreamy. Have enough parking space. Glad they separated Hotpot place and normal food place. You should take a walk in the back or take some photo before you leave.
A wide range of menu for All Day diningPrice worth the Goods and service
Was my usual Sunday breakfast place. However, during my last visit was really disappointed with service and food. Probably they werent able to handle a full house.
Restaurant (Chinese food, Hot Pot, Japanese, European and Myanmar food). Little bit pricey
Good place for business deals. Service not good. Food options are limited
It is one of the cool place to have business meeting or the family dining.
Fuji is a fantastic place for eating dim sum in Yangon.I would rate the food quality comparable to that in any fine Chinese restaurant in Malaysia.Service is in the top range. The place is clean and I find it has a calming effect on me early in the morning. Business starts at 6.30 am.I ate my breakfast at Fuji for four straight mornings.Worth the 30 minutes walkfrom where I stay.
Best place for breakfast. Nice place for lunch. Good place for dinner. Enjoyable place for coffee.Next to US Embassy.Have private rooms for meetings for 4 to 25 people. I use to have breakfast meetings / lunch meetings / coffee meetings/ dinner meetings.
Nice ambience and great food. Had cappuccino and sandwich. Will definitely visit again to explore more cuisines
American breakfast is my all time favourite.
They have a variety of menu items, not just Japanese, but they just taste okay. They should be making better dishes for the prices they are charging. Restaurant is big with private rooms and pretty clean
Its a good cozy place to have delicious meals.
Clean and neat restaurant. It is a good place to hangout with friends or a place to meet up business associates. The range of food is diverse but the taste is just average for the price. I have been to restaurants with better taste for the same price range. If you are looking for a place just to hangout and do not mind about taste, I recommend this restaurant.
Wide range of Burmese, Thai, Chinese and Western food. Reasonable taste and clean environment. Beware of heavy peak-hour traffic due to nearby YUFL and American Embassy.
If u ask me if i go there often, id say no. Small parking spaces, too much traffic and the waiting time?? U can sleep between your order and arrival of your meal. But i have to confess that they are delicious.
Often visit to Fuji Coffee House.I go there because of service staff managers care to customers preference, ever offer her/his hospitality and her/his staff team works good. And the 2nd. Venue is pleasant and good ventilation.Food quality. Generally okay but not great. It cannot be expected every day. I mean Kitchen staff should improve their products.I would say ... food quality is not value to the price which charges. As for me ... I am not a big eater. If I have to choose taste versus courtesy, I enjoy the staff teams politeness. I do not mean everyone there is super. But most of the service staff there pay good attention to customers.Thank you.
Regular post-run meeting point for Yangon Running Club and never fails to serve good coffee, lime sodas, fruit shakes etc rapidly and somehow manage to also get all the individual bills right. Tops!
Nice food, great location and service a rare quiet place in noisy town best location for family dining.
It was a very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly. They look after you quite well, and re-check all your orders and dishes every time they serve you. And the dishes taste amazing. The only thing lacking in that place is much more customers. Seriously, they deserve more customers.
The place quiet.Foods are not so so .
Gteat place and silent and good taste.
Very nice. Lots of choice. Glorious AC every dish we had wasgreat. Prices are reasonable but not cheap. Strong internet. Absolutely fantastic place to escape midday heat and chill
An upscale cafe and restaurant beside US Embassy Yangon, Myanmar.Traditional Myanmar teashop eatables are served.European food is good too.
One of the best restaurant in Yangon with many different food options. A great place to chill out with friends and family, meeting with business partners and customers.Breakfast is very nice and also have many options including traditional, ethnic foods and international foods. Staffs are trained very well and everyone has sweet appearance and nice hospitality. There are Vegetarian options as well.Photos below are - Vegetarian fried Kai Lan, Vegetarian Spring rolls and Fuji House signature fruity tea.
Good coffee and good taste food.
Standard cafe. Quiet place.Clean and standard furniture equipted.European / Chinese / Thai foods available there.Adequate car parking.Situated in middle of the town. Should go and taste once.
Good place to enjoy Japanese food in reasonable prices.
Very much enjoyed my breakfast here. Price was quite reasonable and the place was very clean/modern. The staff were also very helpful. Highly recommend this spot for business meetings or just a good meal.
Great place to chill and have some yummy nibble. Cozy place with tasty foods.
Feels like dinning in the wood as the building is surrounded by well-maintained landscaping.Private rooms are quite big enough for a small group of friends.Food taste good and friendly service. Also a good meeting point for casual or business.Thumbs up!
Nice place for a coffee or cake or more solid food like hot pot. Used to be one of the few places with WiFi pre 2011. A favourite place to meet and you can see many long term expats here.
Classic, quite except waiter voice sometimes, good and clean food. Nice furniture. Feels like visiting to a fris home.
A very bad experience. I was unwell and asked for some water in addition to the lime juice I had ordered previously. It took three waiters until I had to loudly call for attention and my daughter had to get up and get my lime juice. The water came afterwards. Inattentive staff for so-so food in a fancy place.
This Cafe is actually two restaurants: a Chinese hot pot, frequented mostly by locals and ... Chinese, and a Western Cafe near the U.S. Embassy and accross from a local University is where lots of meetings over coffee take place. While the food is rather plain, their selection of teas and coffee is rather good, best to be enjoyed in the little Japanese garden. Service is uneven, so patience is required, and parking can be an issue, at times, on a busy University Avenue.
The place has tasty meals and super excellent cakes!! A little bit pricey but its worth it.Can have a hard time finding car parking. 😬
Wide indoor space for customers. Nice coffee and decent location. Close to US Embassy. Always tight traffic on the road but you can get parking space in front of UFL schools parking lot if the Cafe parking is occupied.
Diverse selection of food right next to the US Embassy. The food came out quickly and was good.
good food and service. fairly good range of both asian and european food. not pricey by european standards but more expensive than many of the local places with less limited menus.
Quite high standard but very pricey. Clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. Food are just ok but theres no wow effect involved. There are private rooms to be hired.
When I was on mission in Yangon, we often had lunch at the Fuji Coffee since it has quite nice food, serves quite quickly and has reliable internet. A good choice for a reasonable, good and comfy lunch (not for a romantic dinner). Ask for the menu with prices, it exists, no idea why they are always giving the one without.
When I was in Yangon a decade ago, I used to love this place. My favourite dishes were the Thai rice, chicken croquet and the pastries. The decor, ambience and service were top class.
Me and my sister love this place. For the past 10 years weve been living on this road, not a week has passed by without us going to Fuji for a drink or a light meal ( Well, except the weeks we werent in Yangon ). I love the food there and after so long, we have befriended with the lovely staffs over there. The last time I went back to Yangon, Fuji was , unfortunately, being renovated. But Im sure its going to look a lot better but I love the old building it was before.
