MoreThis site used to be free of charge but now charges 60L (internat. tourists), but its not really clear what youre paying for. Its a fort and you have some nice views over the city. Theres a (very limitedfixed art exhibition. But nothing else. Theres construction going on and maybe this will add value in the future. But now we just got charged for nothing much really.
MoreMuy lindo lugar para hacer turismo y buena vida nocturna
Nice place!
Excelente lugar, aunque sus productos en los souvenir son muy caros.
Muy bonito y hermoso lugar conocer más sobre nuestras culturas y antepasados
Small fortress on the hill. Good panorama to the town and national park
MoreQuite pretty, not much to it
A beautiful fortress of the spanish colonial epoque, The Fortress of San Cristóbal is in the city of Gracias, Lempira; Honduras. The site is small but has a 360° view of all the town, where you can see all the heritage architecture around, is very easy to access and the cost is very accesible to the public, kids under 10 y/o does not pay entry, when you get inside the site you will found with some sculptures outside and some military artefacts of the time, some story is shown inside were they tell all history of the site and the city, is a heritage architecture building of Honduras so if you like history and architecture you will love it, you can take amazing photos up there. 100% recomended.
MoreValió la pena subir, a pie o en carro el recorrido se puede hacer. Las obras plasmadas en la roca son geniales y la vista desde la fortaleza es excelente 👌

MoreA historic Fort overlooking the city of Gracias, has great views of the city and host a gallery for cultural exhibitions
MoreGreat touristic experience! The fort is located at the feet of Mountain Celaque, Honduras tallest peak. The fort has the remains of a former president, and lodges a museum and an artistic collection. Recommended!
MoreShort and easy walk from the center of Gracias. You can see the scenery but its not fabilous. Still you want to get here because there isnt much to see in Gracias. Foreigners entrance fee is Lps. 60.
MoreA must visit in the city of Gracias, with an amazing view and a peaceful atmosphere.
MoreNice place!
Run-of-the-mill fort as forts go with some decent views (assuming the clouds have not inundated you). Probably the most notable part of the fort wasnt even the fort and the stone sculptures outside! Indeed, one should really go for those!
MoreGreatly preserved with amazing views.
nice
