Fu Gui in Arrecife

Absolutely dreadful, waited ages for food, after we asked food arrived very quickly. How I wished we left before, the food was very bland when we informed the waitress she told us it suited older people!!! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes decent food.The only polite thing I can say is the staff made some effort to be pleasant but still expected full payment despite the fact that we eat just a few mouthfuls.

So disappointed, persuaded by staff to enter the restaurant, sat down and ignored for 15mins. Eventually given drink then another long time lapse,after asking to order another long wait. Eventually found wait wasnt worth it, the food was watery and tastelessWish I hadnt waited, wasted an evening , went back to apartment, evening wasted!

First visit to this restaurant. Large portions, delicious food, really friendly staff. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Matagorda. Free tipple at the end of the night really appreciated. Definitely go for the honey rum....delish!

Food was gorgeous can’t fault but as a young person I feel as we weren’t respected or shown any attention my partner order sweet and sour sauce they gave him sweet chilli when he said that they gave him the wrong thing they said no that’s what you asked for look maybe it was the language barrier but still wasn’t nice they didn’t replace it or take it off the bill they also were putting down cutlery without touching it for everyone else and for us she touched the bit of the fork that gose in your mouth with her fingers while everyone else seemed to be shown respect in there we were not no one came to us for anything we had to ask and even at that we were ignored also not such of a big deal but everyone is offered a free shot after there meal i would of thought that maybe after giving v us the wrong food they might have offered but they did not while they did offer to everyone else honestly I would say to go to the Chinese across the road way nicer and honestly staff is amazing doesn’t matter what age you are you are respected just not worth it if you don’t feel comfortable.

Is a friendly and amazing portions they care about the customers not the money they dont rush you they encourage you to take your time it is all amazingly cooked thank you for a brilliant experience

Brilliant food and incredible value.During a 2 week stay we eat here twice. On the first visit we went for the set menu for 2 people which was €12.95. The only problem with this was there was too much food (A nice problem to have!Thankfully they were more than happy to box up our mains, which we had barely touched after the x2 starters which we enjoyed the following day for lunch.On the 2nd visit we went for the €9.95 option and this was perfect, we just about finished it all in one sitting but had to work at it for a while! :DThe quality of the food served is far better than the price implies and the service was very friendly and speedy.We will definitely re-visit Fu Gui next time were staying in Matagorda.

Firstly 3 of us ate here this evening I found the lady very welcoming and good service.Now the food this has to be the worst Chinese I have ever experienced in my life. The starters, chicken wings small, Dry and tasteless. Spring roll totally over cooked saturated in grease and very bland. The chicken curry poor quality chicken and the chips overcooked.the spare ribs were hard and 3 single ones in a portion . Would I eat here again absolutely not!!

Absolutely amazing food and impeccable service. Would recommend anyone in the area to visit at least once for the best Chinese food you’ve ever had!

The best Chinese in Matagorda.Pleasant friendly staff, a comprehensive menu at a reasonable price service included in bill. Starters were Avocado & Shrimp rolls , Sesame prawn toast and I had Sharks fin soup. Our mains were Duck with Mushrooms & Bamboo shoots, Sweet & Sour King Prawn, Lemon Chicken , Beef in Black bean sourceEgg fried rice & Special Noodles.Washed down with 2 bottles of house white which was a Chardonnay. Be warned they are large portions.The bill for 3 persons came to €85 .At the end a complimentary drink of your choice, We went for the Honey RumGive it a try you wont be disappointed.

We have eaten on two separate occasions during our stay here in Matagorda. The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and accommodating. I am a vegatarian and they worked flexibly to support my dietary requirements. There was attention to the covid guidelines and good hygiene management.

Best Chinese food weve had in a long time.Staff friendly, very clean restaurant.Food fresh nice big portions.Would recommend if 2 people want same rice only order one coz its a big bowl.We had to leave one coz of big portions.10/10 .

Visited the Fu Gui Chinese restaurant in Matagorda, Lanzarote for dinner. Party of 6 had the set meal for 6 which was excellent. Every dish was lovely. Service was excellent too. We have been before and will definitely visit again when we are back at the Sol lanzarote in the future

Ive been to Matagorda many times and never tried this restaurant before. It was perfect, the waiter was lovely, the food delicious and was reasonably priced too!

Had the 12.95e set meal. We couldnt eat it all , huge spring roll, the Peking 🦆 pancakes. Followed by chicken and beef dish . Very attentive friendly staff . Very clean and service not rushed or two slow , enough time between courses to digest. Nearly everyone else left with doggy bags so its not just me that struggled to eat the huge portions. Unfortunately we were staying in hotel so not an option, but good for those self catering Good value and tasty 🙂

Very disappointing bland and not very presentable .nothing seemed fresh just a pile of greasy mush. Definitely wont be back .wasting good money on bad food. Wont happen again. Sorry .

Absolutely 10/10 experience. Food Is wery delicious and The tsaff is so helpful and good. Did order takeaway 2 Times allready and will get some More before flying home.

Super! The waitress is very friendly, very neat, puts napkins with tongs on the table, explained which sauces are better with which dishes to eat. The food is very tasty, the prices are super. Thank you so much for your work!

A very good chinese restaurant. The food is tasteful and the staff very friendly. They offered us a liquor on the house. We had the special menu offer for €8,50. Its more than enough for a reasonable price.Weve been here again and again, everything was very good. We recommend this restaurant!

Had an evening meal here and to be honest it was very tasty and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent and you was not rushed with your meals. Would recommend a visit here for a Chinese meal.

Visited twice in the past week while we were on holiday. Best Chinese food Ive had in a long time. Staff are super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will definetely be visiting again on our next trip to Lanzarote. Highly recommended!

Nice place for a dinner. I recommend to take their “special offer” menu which contains a starter, main dish and a side. Good value for money!They also give you a complementary drink in the end, which is quite nice.

We wasted 1 hour and a half waiting for our meal but only 2 out of 10 dishes they had cooked . They were very rude by not informing us. My kids were famish and very sleepy. Customer service is very bad… they were customers after us however they get their meals before us! Disgusting! Horrible! Unforgiving!

My friends and I went there because of the rating (4.3 stars). In my opinion this "restaurant" does not deserve this price. Im not very picky about the food but there were a few issues with the dishes. The cooking temperature of their fried dishes is not controlled. So if you take a duck or other fried meat, it may be overcooked or too dry. The 3 ingredients of their 3 delicious fried rice are supermarket quality. Ok for a Chinese takeout but not for a restaurant. I had garlic and pepper ribs to start, they just cut the ribs in half and fry them. Not very inspired as a starter. I am Chinese and I eat a lot of rice. For a new bowl of white rice you have to wait almost 8 minutes in between and they charge you for each bowl. If you are Chinese and eat a lot of rice, I do not recommend going there, it can be expensive and it is not so good.

Its all about the Staff!!! The staff here are so friendly so efficient and so helpful couldnt have been any more friendly and attentive.The restaurant itself is clean with plenty of seats inside and outThe food is OK, its not the best Chinese Ive ever been too and the chicken is questionable. Its just average overall on the food side.They do a takeaway menu which is also not too bad.The staff brought this rating from a 3 to a 4.

For a chinese outside of the uk I felt the meal was to a high standard. I would definitely return. As family of 4 with a 10 year old and a 7 year old the set meal for 3 was bang on quantity. Service couldnt fault. So set meal for 3 with soft drinks, 2 bottlea of wine and desserts for all of us just under €100. Seemed to me as a very fair price.

This Chinese is gorgeous! You have a big menu to choose from and you can get a take away as well as eat in.The staff there are amazing and will go out of their way to give you want your wanting.Because I cannot drink alcohol I drink smoothies, but they do not do them.When asking if they did, he said he was in the process of concocting a smoothie menu. Alas, I had to have cokacola.We carried on with our fantastic meal and then about 5 minutes into it he produced a smoothie and a huge one at that.It was flippin lovely! Huge but lovely and thats the kind of place it is.The starters and mains are fantastic and pretty big portions too. The desserts are the kind of desserts that you know you shouldnt finish but its so damn good it would be rude not to. Well were on holiday after all 😎.All in all a fantastic restaurant.

Had a lovely experience here, staff are very nice and the food was delicious! Good prices and by far the best Chinese food menu in the whole complex. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and furnished, feels very open but you dont feel exposed while eating.Would highly recommend

Staff seemed to be under pressure as service was slow. Food was ok but did not understand how their pick three menu worked. My fault maybe but it could be more clearly explained. Kids found their rice to be too salty and curry was very watery. Shredded duck was great. Not bad overall. Staff very friendly.

Loved this Chinese. The banquet was excellent value and the drinks werent overpriced like some places. It always seemed busy while we were there which is always a good sign. The staff are very friendly and it seems to be a family affair. The dishes came out quickly once you finished a course but we didnt feel rushed.
