Front Street Brasserie in Penticton

Just ate their brasserie provisions lasagna and it’s seriously the best I’ve ever had. Instructions we’re easy and clear, and the end result is soooooo delicious!

Went for the first time with my friend and I really was blown away by the food and the service. I never do reviews but this is totally worth it. Don’t miss if you are in the Penticton area!

I want to be impressed when I go out for a special night. Front Street Brasserie is amazing!Wow. Simple and sophisticated.This is a place unlike any other Ive experienced. Its like going to dinner at a chefs private residence.Ive written and re-written drafts of this review several times over struggling to find the right combination of words to describe the experience and meal but I simply cant do it justice.All I can do is recommend that you visit and see (tastefor yourself this amazing little gem.Thank you John and Lisa.

I’ve been there twice and both times amazing! I love the shared plates idea. I love the quaintness of it all. The food is phenomenal. The serving staff and the chef always go above and beyond to make your dining experience special. I can’t wait to come back. Hopefully sooner than later.

One of the best meals we had in the entire Okanagan Valley week vacation. The one word that comes to mind on each and every dish is "balanced". The flavors were so perfectly paired and balanced for each dish we got. I rarely give 5 stars for anyone but this one place deserves it.

Good food, excellent, personal service. Small, intimate experience. Short but good wine list with every selection $45.

This was the perfect restaurant to celebrate our anniversary - excellent food and wine and top-notch service. Every dish had subtle, but complimentary flavours and each was beautifully presented. To top off a superb meal, we shared a complimentary dessert that was so very light and tasty. We will definitely return. Thank you John, Lisa and Sheila for a lovely evening!

Excellent staff good food price right

Was here with a group of 5 and enjoyed amazing food and service. We had the chef pick menu with wine pairings. Everything was delicious and the garlic butter croutons and the cheesecake creme brulee were out of this world. This gem easily compares (and beats!high-end French restaurants in Vancouver. Will be back!

Sophisticated flavours but youll never feel like youre not sophisticated enough to eat here. Lisa and John are passionate about food and it shines through the dishes. Low key atmosphere... Youll feel like a guest in their home. Perfect.

Been here several times and it never disappoints. Double dated here with friends and the server offered to just look after us. Didn’t even need to order off the menu, instead they just surprised us! Super fun! Fantastic service and food. This place is truly a hidden gem for Penticton. Only place in town I’ll go for out to for date night! Reasonable corkage fee too, so we were able to enjoy some nice back vintages out of our cellar!

Wow...the experience is amazing...if you love well created food you cannot miss this place ..every menu item that we had was meticulously created with amazing flavors and presentation... I have eaten fine food a lot but sometimes you dont realize what fine food really is until you taste perfection. Not only were the flavors of the dishes amazing but the whole menu was coordinated... and if you ever go there you must have the smores crepe...it was the most delicious dessert I have ever tasted

Great restaurant with a clear identity. Theyre not trying to do what everybody else is doing. Great unique food well prepared, seasoned, tasty, using local ingredients. The crepes for dessert is a fun touch. The service put it over the top... personal, attentive and very relax.We enjoy our date night. Highly recommend to anyone who like to discover small jem!!

The best place to eat in Penticton - they have really goo coffee or wine and i love the meat and cheese boards YUM

I ate here a couple weeks ago and the meal was fantastic! I had the gnocchi, prawns, and duck which was all cooked perfectly. I think this restaurant is probably the best in Penticton.

I went out tonight for diner the most amazing dining experience of my life I have traveled many parts of the world and this restaurant is the best I have ever tried. The owners and staff are the friendliest and the most informative I have ever met. The menu is so unique and tastiest I have ever tried I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, this place is the best evening and experience I have ever had

I would rate it just slightly below 5 stars. The only imperfection was the tomato carpacio that was missing more stronger spice like pepper to my opinion, but everything else including the service was outstanding. Highly recommended!

From the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew we were in for a special dining experience. We left the wine selection up to Lisa and her recommendations were a perfect match to our menu selections. The duck confit was spectacular and the shrimp and endive salad with dill will bring us back for a second visit next time we travel to Penticton! Thank you Lisa and John for a truly fantastic meal.

Small, cozy brasserie. Fits about 10 guests.Appeared to offer a wide variety of drinks but I didnt have any during my visit. The wallpaper, black and white theme, the lighting and the setup of the restaurant definitely screams French-inspired.Had the mac and cheese. Rich and creamy without being heavy and overbearing. Sharp cheese and breading gave the dish a good variety of texture and taste while not overwhelming you.Also had a beet salad. Cant remember the exact dish and ingredients but again, was completely satisfied. Refreshing taste. Again, some sharp cheese. Really good mix of textures and tastes. =If I didnt live 4 hours away, I would be back again regularly.Staff were helpful, courteous and polite. Great atmosphere.
