Small zoo featuring tigers, crocodiles & other species, plus a sea lion show & camel rides.
Its was lovely to see all the animals but especially all the little cats, they should have a cat cafe, I would have loved that.
Was better before, especialy with the Dolphins show
Do not go!!!!!! it is discusting the way the animals are kept. No water, no food in 40C heat. I was so upset I went back to our bus early. My back garden is bigger than the enclosure the lions and tigers are kept in🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Lovely little Safari Park, take about and hour to go and see all the wildlife. Zoo Keepers will take photos up close for you for a few Diner but an ok afternoon
Amazing the most thrilling experience
Loved it. Came here on a trip from our Hotel. Animals look well looked after. Plenty to see. Family run place which was for their own entertainment which is now open to the public.
The place is very nice and big, there are a lot of animals in the park.It would be nice if the animal homes would be more clean and and park more maintained. There is a playground with a train, but it was not working.
Very interesting
Nice placeTicket price per personEntery ticket: 15.00 DinarsTo take a photo with animars an extra charge!🐒Lamur cage entery: 10.00 Dinars🦁Lion cage entery : 20.00 Dinars🦭Sea lion entery: 15.00 Dinars
The whole concept of the zoo is good idea. Inside everything look nice, but its not worth the trouble to get there. It was very hot when we arrived at the Friguia park. Most of the animals you cant see because they hide in the little shade. The space where the animals are is to big, but the shade is only in the corners of the wall because of that you cant see the animals. They are far from you. Its probably better when its not summer and very hot.
nice 👍👍👍 i love it
Place ok, but if you lose something there do not bother to check with the stuff. the place like black hole doesnt matter if you lose a sunglass or a ring. no security no camera no follow up
It was a great experience, we got to pet little lions for a bit, which was a dream come true. You need 2 hours, tops to see everything, but the options to touch some animals and the seal show are amazing.
Its not like a normal zoo like we use to see in europe but its really amazing u can go in a lion cage take fotos and animals even if its not a lot, but they looks super healty not like u see in zoos in europe.
Great value. Friendly staff, plenty of animals.Only negative is its in the middle of nowhere.Get the taxi driver to wait for you.
The workers were on strike and they didnt let us in the park.
On a recent trip to Hammamet we booked to visit Friguia Park through Tui. With transfers via coach it cost 90dinars per adult and 45dinar per child. We spent 3 hours here which was plenty as the zoo is not huge and the time was enough to have seen everything there. Lions, lion cubs, hyenas, tortoises, elephants, a zebra, fennec foxes, monkeys of various sorts, porcupines, reindeer, antelopes, and more in spacious enclosures and all look well cared for.Contrary to previous reviews the staff do NOT hassle you for tips by forcing food into your hands. There was a member of staff at the buffalo handing people leaves but walking away once they did and the same at the reindeers. Politely offering the chance to feed them without asking for money in return. There is a small shop on site offering various gifts which are extremely cheap compared to shops elsewhere. Food and drink is again cheaply priced. 1.5l bottles of water for 2 dinar (53pand same for most snacks between 2-5dinar.Dont miss the sealion show, its roughly 15minutes long and entertaining for all.All in all this is a great little excursion, couldnt fault the staff and this park had everything to make a nice day out.5stars*****
Amazing place for safari day specially for kids to enjoy
Amazing place! Animals look good and happy. Staff are amazing 😁
Nice escape from Sousse. Avoid the weekends as this is very crowded.
Its wide and rich but unfortunately no good food , to make it Nice experience bring your own food. Also avoid vaccation its too much crowded. Tickets are for 15dt per person, its a bit expensive comparing to other zoo and to the quality of this Park.
Loved it. Cool place to take nice pictures with animals. Clean and neat . Dangerous for kids to play on playground as it’s not m’entraîne at all , too sad for that. Minimum refreshments available for purchase. Toilets are clean . Parking is free but some individuals will try to take money fromyou , report it to cash pointMarch 2022 giraffe is not any more in the park, it’s dead :((((
Its a nice place to walk and look wild animals and they have here a show 😀 with a sealion for about 30 minutes adorable show.
Nice parkYou can take pics with baby lyons 😍
The lions (for which they have a well-known breeding programare undeniably cool. Some of the other enclosures seem underdeveloped for their inhabitants.
Excellent experience. Plenty of animals including the cats. I would advise them to make the feeding time more obvious. Still since Covid the place is less lively and you can feel some animal are less healthy than before. Hopefully it gets more visitors soon with summer season.
What an amazing park. One of the best if not the best we ever experienced, and we ve been to many parks and zoos around the world.A big variety of animals ( white tigers and lions too!!and you can get very close to them. You can feed them and you seem them really in their almost natural environment. The african construction style and the music and dance animation of south african artists. In friguia, you can spend an amazing day. Our day was a big pleasure for our kids but for us too and we definitely recommand Friguia to everyone. Go there and feel the african wildness.
Amazing park! There are a lot of wild animals living in comfortable conditions! Very beautiful place!
The park itself is open zoo: you can pet feed some of the animals. Great for the kids and adults. There is a fish spa here for 10 dinas you get 15 mins and the dishes will remove dead skin from your feet. The tiger is massive compared to the ones in the UK and very beautiful. The cheapest place for drinks is the restaurant. They sell drinks at the entrance as u come In and the guy charges you 3 dinas for a can of pop but you can get a glass bottle for 1.50 in the restaurant. The restaurant is very limited but to be fair your not really going to sit down and have a meal.Camel ride is 3 dinas so very cheap. There is a monkey that is worth while seeing and is hilarious. At 10 there is a seal show however the sign says seals and there was only on seal, which was good but would of been better with more seals.Overall I would recommend the park 😊 but would suggest improvements In the toilets, consistently charging the sale prices throughout the park and a map or a guide given upon arrival.
lovely place to visit and zoo lovely animals
Good excursion. Good show with seals. Not too much animals to see. All can be seen in an hour. Animal feedings and photo with animals cost 10-20 dinars.
Good little zoo with shade spots for hot days. Kids got to feed giraffes and hold lemurs they absolutely loved it ....
It was an OK place. Saw a few animals. For extra money you could take pictures with some of them (depending on the animal, for example giraffe was 10 dinars, lemurs 10 dinars aswell, turtles 2 dinarsthere were also kangaroos that you could take pictures with. The seal show was alright, but nothing too special. I would take an umbrella with me if I went there again because the sun really fries you there. The national dance show was the best part of it, but it is not always included with excursions. My excursion did have it and it was worth it, very nice dancing. I have to also add that there were no exit signs so we didnt really know for how much more we have to walk for. Ended up asking the workers for the exit and had to walk fast because of the limited excursion time and we didnt want to get lost.
A place where you can spand a whole day with your family or/and friends. They dont have lizards and snakes. For every interactivity with animals (feeding the lemurs, the giraffes, the deersyou are charged. There are no souvenirs (tshirts, magnets), only bazaar stuff. The tribal music and dance are awesome. There are many places where you can refresh youself with a cold soft drink.
Great day out. It is a small animal park. It is lovely seeing the animals in open enclosures, in as close as possible in the enviroment they come from.It is only a half day trip.
Loved walking around to feed different animals, camel rides, loved seeing the animals in an environment so similar to how they would normally live. Great refreshments and staff spoke little english but could understand each other. The range of animals was amazing too. The sea lion show was beyond any words could say. The sea lion was so clever and looked so well after. All animals looked well fed and watered. If I was to come back again this animal park would be on my list to do again! Something great for all ages.
Really enjoyed my visit here. The zoo keepers give you food to feed the animals which is great fun especially with the monkeys.
Really nice zoo with lots of animals to see, plenty of food and drink kiosks at reasonable prices as were souvenir stalls. The Sea lion show was entertaining, and staff were knowledgeable and genuinely cared for the animals they tended to. We found 2 hours to be a good amount of time to get round and see all the animals, we were part of a coach trip concession from our hotel so we had a 2 hour time limit. The white lions and tigers are really stunning.Would have given 5 stars, but some staff tried to put feed into the childrens hands for a tip or cost so Id warn against taking anything as its never for free. That being said, I happily paid 10 dinar per child for amazing photographs and feeding experiences with the giraffes!
Very nice zoo enjoyed it
Lovely nationally park and lovely animals
Very nice place, animals are well fed, has enough space. It feels like you are walking in the park with animals around. No bad smell, like in the zoo and coffee is quite cheap. Really enjoyed. Although, there was no alligator, black swan and parrots
Well we are out of season, so cant expect everything to be tip top. There was a selection of African indigenous animals and also some rare white tigers. The pens lacked a bit of maintenance and need some TLC however, when the entrance fee is about 3gbp. Our taxi, who waited 3 hours, was 70dinar, around 22gbp. Its worth a visit but dont expect European standards. There are toilets dotted around, a kids play zone and a couple of restaurants and snack bars (they were closed this time of year). Go visit. They need the money and its worth seeing these animals up close.
For a zoo that charges £5 for an adult and £3.50 for a child this is a must do experience. There are numerous opportunities to have your photos taken with loads of animals for the price of £3.For a family trip I cant wait to return to Tunisia to be able to repeat this experience.
Friguia Park is a former private animal park opened to the public a few years ago.It is designed in a circle so you can go around and visit every station without getting lost etc. Its what youd expect with a decent restaurant and food stalls very frequently. It was great to see white tigers here. Definitely check it out if you are visiting Hammamet, Tunisia. Also, the Sea Lion show is brilliant.
The animal looked unhappy, dare I say drugged uolp and in tiny enclosures.
Amazing animal park. Being able to feed the giraffes up close is an amazing experience. Highly recommended
Lovely zoo and very reasonable price ,not like in the uk with regards to some areas being a bit broken down but animals all appeared to be healthy and fairly happy.
Absolutely loved this safari style zoo. One of the best Ive been to in terms if space for the animals. Plenty of shade for them also as the heat is ridiculous. African dancing was the highlight for me. Along with feeding the giraffes and holding a desert fox. Amazing
This is very nice zoo and you can spend with you family a very good time there. The territory no so very big but it’s beautiful and there are a lot of animals. Also there is a super nice sea lion show. Animals all in good conditions and almost all of them you can feed and touch. Good place to visit specially for kids.
Visited July 2014. It was nice experience, looked like the animals were well looked after.
