Great people who do great things for our river.
Love this place beautiful place and beautiful people shout to Adam for being a great person he really helped me out a lot while I was volunteering there ❤️❤️
As part of the Rock The River Festival, the river activities included a 5 mile race, along the rustling Rappahannock River.
Absolutely love this place. We attended a field trip here, and it was lovely. The staff was knowledgable, helpful and patient with our wild group. I highly recommend.
I went here on a field trip and it was the best!
Beautiful
Living near such beautiful natural areas is a gift!I love the Fredericksburg, VA area for many reasons, one in particular is the access to so many wonderful walking & hiking areas. And now especially with heavy virus concerns, its a great time to enjoy fresh air & sunshine and do our best to count our blessings and help however we can.
Delightful
These are a lot of great people trying to keep the river accessible to everyone to enjoy. People often take good places to take a walk for granted, but not these folks. They work with local volunteers to help maintain good walking paths and much more that is related to the river. Feel free to get more information because I know they could always use a few more good hands.
Great group of people dedicated to promoting the value and history of the river
Fun!
Biking in woods is like a mini vacation for the soul
Great place!
I went with my grandsons third grade class on a field trip. The guides were wonderful and very informative and patient!! Very educational!!
Went there for the first time for a wilderness first aid class. Theres a lot more to this place than I expected.
Friendly organization and we learned a lot but I wish they would get rid of all of the broken down school buses. I didnt count them all but there has to be about 20. They joked that they collect them but it really makes the area look more like a junk yard. 😔
Went on a field trip with my daughter who is in kindergarten. Our guide had a lot of knowledge, and was great for the kids. We saw some wildlife (including a large black snake which was quickly moved before the kids saw it!A great time was had by all!
I cannot support any organization that refuses to recognize that infant structure expansion is just as important as Environmental Protection. Considering that infrastructure expansion would allow people to get off the road faster and user Vehicles less thus reducing our carbon footprint.
I went on a 1st grade field trip with my granddaughters class. They had an excellent program geared towards the age group and what they needed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Great programming!
