Lovely service and great food and wine.

Customer service was amazing, unless you are relying on your server to create atmosphere between you and those dining with you...The servers are attentive and punctual but leave you to enjoy the company of those you are with which I personally prefer. Food was fantastic, though a little heavy handed on the truffle which I never thought I would say! We look forward to dining here again for another 5 courses!

Came in for a coffee to kill some time, such a pleasant experience!!!!As soon as you walk in, you are greeted.The young girl who made the coffee was wonderful, a little bit of a jokester which I loved!!! The coffee cup was so cute!As we were leaving we seen off pleasantly.Seriously recommend you going here.We are visiting from another state and this is the most loveliest we have been treated!

It’s not me, it’s you. I think we shouldn’t be Friends.The food was pricey and below average. The lamb was a little gamey and the vegetables tasted like I was back in a boarding house dining hall.

I honestly do not understand why it was so quiet on a Friday night. The food was sensational, the wine was fantastic, the service was brilliant and entertaining and the sticky date pudding was honestly the best I have ever had!! Highly recommend!

3.9 star dining at best. Sorry guys, realistically this is a 3.9 star dining place. The food is 3.6 stars, the price makes you a 2 star, the service is 3.5 stars at best and the drinks are 3 stars.4.7 stars ? Pfft. No chance

The parfait was good. The breads were ok. We also ordered lamb and salmon as main dish. The main dish was a bit small for me.

Wowwwww. By far the most amazing, enjoyable experience. Had my birthday dinner here with a few close friends a few months ago, best night I had in a while. The staff were so amazing and funny and so helpful with everything, they definitely made the night so much more enjoyable.. now the food is out of the world, so many flavours, so so so delicious, I dream of this night and the food 😆 well worth your money!! Also amazing cocktails.

Although the reputation preceded and we were hopeful....anticipated good things...The food was really delicious...but service was perfunctory. Some explanations...some cheerful banter would have been appreciated. It was as though we were at a low level/average restaurant. We couldnt wait to leave only because we wanted more. Wild Flower...any time.😥😥 Was disappointing as they are not necessarily cheap...

We had a wonderful night, service and food were just impecable. We had a la carte menu and everything was delicious.. I loved the zucchini salad. Huge selection of wines, I will come back again.

Went there with my partner Friday night and had the 8 course tasting menu.Flavours, quality and presentation of all dishes was exceptional.Front of house staff where clearly formally trained in the art of fine dining and service which was fantastic to see.The young Filipino waitress was absolutely fantastic, both myself and my partner are in the hospitality industry and we both agreed it was amazing to see someone still with passion for front of house service, not to many of them are left around.I was slightly disappointed to see such a high end fine dining restaurant allowing customers to sit down for dinner in shorts and a singlet and another couple came in, in gym wear. All in all food and service was great

Unfortunately Friends seems to be a bit behind the times. Everything was all right the service was ok but not once did anyone ask me what I thought of the food. The food was mediocre, nothing was bad, nothing was special or original and for $185 a head mediocre is BAD.I cant recommend Friends when there are far better degustation experiences in Perth.

Amazing food, excellent quality. Chefs table and 5 course degustation was so good, as was the wine advice and the service. Its no wonder the owners Clive and Leslie are still in business after all these years and still working their restaurant. They made our whole family of 11 evening a fantastic experience and we will return for sure. Thankyou.

We had the decadent degustation and it was sensational. The staff were very attentive and friendly but not to the level where we were constantly interrupted. Food was amazing.

Friends restaurant has always been a favourite. From it’s origins in the Swan Valley until it’s current location, it is an excellent place to celebrate any special occasion. The food is superb, the wine list is amazing, the service is excellent and the staff are friendly. A wonderful fine dining experience!

Recently celebrated my 70th birthday with 14 friends and family in the private room, so glad we chose this restaurant, everything was perfect. Venue, food and staff were all top notch, everyone had a great night. Truly a night to remember thanks to the owners and staff.

Absolutely amazing in every way!! The food was divine!! We had the 8 course meal it was 100% worth it all the dishes were cooked perfectly some of the best food we have had especially the lamb rack. The service was lovely everyone was so kind and welcoming. Will definitely be going again.

Absolutely the finest dining in Perth.The food is exquisite, tasty as well as being beautifully prepared and presented.The highly trained and knowledgeable team along with the owners Clyde and Lesley will make you dining experience a memorable one.It is no wonder that they have won so many awards and if you are lucky enough to attend any of the performances, by a plethora of musical identities, it will complete your evening.Absolutely the best.

Fine dining at its best. The atmosphere was great and the food was very nice.

It was awesome. We had the five course meal and every dish was perfect. The staff are super friendly and the owner kept checking in on us to see how we were liking the food.

My partner and I decided to go to the Friends restaurant to celebrate a promotion. I have never experienced something so amazing. The food was breathtaking, the staff fabulous and the owner (I presumeis refreshingly genuine and created such a delightful atmosphere. Our experience was topped off with the staff bringing a ‘congratulations for the promotion’ dessert with a candle. I could not recommend enough.

The customer service is absolutely excellent. Their house made mushroom bread and other breads are awesome and the other dishes were delicious too.

The most amazing restaurant, outstanding friendly service to every detail.The meals were not only made with perfect combination of fresh lovely ingredients and the way how it cook were perfect, the presentation was such lovely pieces of art.They are also the wins & drinks expert!And some days there are live band!The atmosphere, food, drinks, the service are in the best quality you can ever expect!It’s so fancy but everyone is so friendly and makes me felt so relaxed and enjoyable.So spoiled with every single minute to be in Friends Restaurant.The whole experience were memorable! Cannot recommend enough!

Great food. Niice seafood. Lobster is fresh. Abalone is tender. Duck is good. Scallop was sooo yum. Drinks are great. Friendly staff. Pricey a bit overall. Good for celebration.

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE.When we arrived we were welcomed with a warm beautiful greeting, we were amazed by how nice the staff are, so caring and friendly.The food was absolutely incredible we were 3 of us and each one ordered different steak and they were all delicious. The starters are unique and well-presented. All tastes delicious. The service was beyond any words can describe, definitely one of THE best experiences of Perth. Let’s not forget about the other aspects such as cleanliness which was 10/10 and art and architecture 10/10 in particular the big painting on the wall. Stunning.

Our meal here was delightful! We had the 8 course degustation and the truffle degustation with paired wines.Light hearted and unobtrusive staff, warm gentle lighting.The food is very rich and punchy in flavors which I love.Great for a special occasion with a loved one

Last night was definitely an experience for my partner and myself. We had never been to fine dining/ high class restaurant before, we felt so out of place BUT the food was amazing. My partner had the lobster 🦞 and I had the kangaroo. We were given a few complimentary appetisers. Highlight was the soft shell crab 🦀 appetiser. We also ordered the abalone starter which was nice.The wine selection is incredible. My partner wishes you to extended you whiskey range.Staff were friendly and professional. The trainee that was on was doing a wonderful job. Good to see other staff who were training her be patient and help her.Would definitely come back.

Incredible dinner here for Valentines Day. We had a 3 course meal with canapes and soups additional. Such a terrific evening, I cant express enough how great the service, ambience and food was. It truly was a magical evening, putting this on the map as one of the best restaurants in Perth.

Such an amazing experience!This is our first time to Perth and the service of this restaurant made us felts so nice and warm.They gave us a wonderful surprise with the awesome “bonus dessert”, and their boss gave us two flowers when he was on the way to open the door for us.You must try this restaurant when you are in Perth!

Had a delightful dinner yesterday. Staffs were absolutely friendly and food was also great. A perfect place to celebrate a special day. I got a flower when leaving which made my day :Lovely!

Cider and onion truffle soup. 😋 Delicious.2. Truffle cured salmon, lemon and dill creme fraiche, wakame, toasted broche. 🥰👌 Incredible flavours3. Beef bourguignon, mushroom and bacon, truffle mash potato, confit carrots, braised pickled onion and the beef was a super tender slow cooked beef cheeks. 🥰😋😁 Paired with a luscious Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret river. 🍇🍷🍷♥️4. Goat cheese and truffle, warmed blue cheese, onion and balsamic bread. 😋😋5. Apple crumble souffle, Manjmump truffle ice-cream. 😋😊. This is best souffle I have ever had. 🙏. This is my favourite restaurant in Perth. It is always great service here as is the food. We did the truffle degustation which did not disappoint. The only gripe I could have is there was not enough sauce with the main but I didnt ask for more. Matching wines are always lovely here too.

My partner and i had an absolutely stunning dinner here the food is amazing, the service is outstanding and the perfect view. I was even given a beautiful bouquet of roses when I was leaving which made a beautiful night even better! 11/10

Had heard of, but never been. But booked in for our anniversary.Wow!6 course meal during truffle season.Should have shared as the servings are substantial. Top quality, great service and excellent drink selection. Would highly recommend A++

Requested for vegetarian tasting menu. Really appreciated the effort to make it vegetarian specifically for us, however we did pay $135 each and was expecting a fine dining experience. The dishes were mediocre, all foods were just "cooked", no special cooking techniques, most savory dishes were just seasoned with salt and oil, no special ingredients (2 dishes had a bit of truffles in them), and most ingredients were ordinary and you can find in your local supermarkets. Foods were coarsely cut, and the presentation did not give me the "wow factor". Everything on the plates were seperate and i did not feel like they went well together. I feel like the tasting menu wasnt planned and prepared by experienced chefs. Both my friend and I felt like we would be able to season everything better. Also it would have been nice if the staff explained to us what was on the plate, as most of the time they just put the plates in front of us and left. It was a very underwhelming experience. Ive tried many fine dining places in Perth and definitley had better. However, good ambience and staff were friendly.

One of the best food in Perth. One of the few fancy restaurants that give a decent portion sized dish. Lobster was amazing along with the duck. Lots of complimentary dishes! Overall great experience and wonderful birthday :)

I enjoyed a seafood degustation here recently. The food was all good, but wasnt bursting with flavour and the flavour combinations werent very unique. The staff were quite friendly on arrival and departure, but the waitstaff did not give us the level of service I expected.

Some fabulous food here, especially the wagyu, soup and various sauces. Generous with the truffles, but at times they didnt suit the dishes and got a bit much towards the end. Truffled ice cream...Service is first class here, dishes come out as youre ready and the waiters dont hover.Price is reasonable for the experience.
