Friends Cafe in Coos Bay

Friends has the BEST French dip sandwich that I have eaten in years. Real beef, cooked in house. The aujus is right off the beef! EXCELLENT!!!!

Wife had finally nagged me enough to hit this local cafe and after I read the backstory it was time.Spectacular.Tuna melt, fish and chips and a root beer float!

This is a cozy little restaurant with good food. I think thier clam chowder and salads are thier best dishes.

Its never very crowded. Prices are ok. The food is good especially the fries

The Friends Cafe is an amazing little place. We were a bit late getting there after fishing up the river. She welcomed us and noticed how cold we were and immediately served us some hot coffee and warm chowder.! The food is excellent and the service and hospitality are unmatched to anywhere we have eaten. It is worth your time to visit this place and the interesting menu!

Excellent service and food. A hidden gem off the beaten path. So glad the other 3 places we tried were packed because it brought us here. Eastside area of Coos Bay- worth the little drive.

Excellent wraps! The Soups to die for! Burgers yummy!! Chicken Strips are best ever! Fries are killer and so are the onion rings. Fresh food from scratch and you can tell!

Love this place and I will be trying the fish and chips next time because my grandma always said that this place had the best fish and chips

The food was good. Their food is home-made/made from scratch. Had a hamburger with onion rings and strawberry lemonade that could beat Red Robin in taste and price. Service and atmosphere were both good too. Nice and clean. We will definitely be going back again. Beats McDonalds or any fast food place.

This business took over this site under a new name. Everything is different. We would give 4.5. Great food and enjoyable, near Eastside Post office which is open on Saturday.

The burgers here are great! Taste super fresh.They make homemade fry sauce that is like no other Ive ever tried. Its a delicious condiment. I recommend it on everything.

We stopped here tonight on our family vacation, clam chowder was bomb, best strawberry shake Ive ever had & the service was great. All of the ladys were so nice!

Good food great service good prices and lots of food.

In past 10 days, have had at least seven takeout meals from Friends, and each time, the burgers, the sandwiches, the salad, the wraps have really hit the spot. Especially the soups: Clam Chowder, Navy Bean, Chicken Tortilla. Its a great, affordable cafe over here in Eastside.

Very friendly and fast service with a smile. Great prices and taste.

My wife and I had a New York steak salad with blue cheese dressing, there was more than enough and very well prepared. Price was good also.

Its easy to see from the road. Its not a very long wait. The food is good quality and you can call in orders. The price is a little bit high but the food is delicious and definitely worth it. The menu is a little limited and might not be so good for picky eaters. There is no unisex bathroom but there are public bathrooms. Its not the best place for groups but it could work.

I heard good things online and from some people I know, so I decided to give it a try. I love burgers, and their burgers are so good! Their food is good quality, and very reasonably priced. It wasn’t overly greasy like some places are. It seems like they know what they’re doing, and the service was good and fast. I’ll be back!

Had a Tuna melt, Angus burger and clam chowder, the service was good and the menu has some good items...

It was very enjoyable. The entire place was clean & the staff was very friendly which made our experience great. Our food was appealing to the eye & was very fresh & we were full. Perfect portions & also the menu wasnt so huge as I believe it will make it easier for them to be consistent with their dishes.

Great burger and fries!!! The place looks clean and service was good. Jalapeño fry sauce was also good. Id give it a five star rating if it had a view or was free haha.

Clam chowder is homemade and SOOO amazingly good! The fish was nice as well
