Friday Market is temperory closed. It will be opened in September or October as informed by the care taker.They offer stalls and encourage business opportunities for Mid average firms.Easily accessible and located in the centre of city.Looking forward for the reopening of the Market.

It opens from October to April. High brand refurbished things on cheap price sale.

It was good but now closed will open in october . I bought some branded shirts just in 5 aed each.

Its is a good palce for shopping in union cop market I used cash desposite Emirates Nbd machines also Friday market were you can buy lots of home use products in a cheap rates and my kids love to go there because of Macdonald ice-cream

Its name is not changed. But, Now its open on sundays.. Not friday😁... So, its sunday market.Nice experience.. Can buy things via bargaining.

Its a good place for shopping and food items, most of second hand items with reasonable price, its too crowd, and the market is open only on Friday.

Great experience there is a shop called Mohammed Rashid Trading for perfumes its very gud m they have a lot of collection and also their prices are very gud.

A large variety of shops with hundreds if not thousands of items on sale for cheap prices. Do recommend checking out.

Friday market is absolutely a place for friday goers... But since the weekend is moved to sunday... The friday market to be renamed to sunday market.

Alert : No friday market this season 2021. I drove all the way on Friday to buy some Bedsheets.

It is still closed...when the covid starts they didnt open then place. Its a good place to bargain items. Awaiting for this place to open soon...

After a five-month summer break, Dubais only Friday Market is set to reopen tomorrow , offering visitors almost everything non-perishable under the sun.Humaid Saeed Al Marri, Director of the Markets and Abattoirs Department at Dubai Municipality, said the traditional open air souq became an instant hit when it was launched in November last year on an experimental basis.Al Marri added that the 445-stall market, operating from the car park at Dubai Municipality-managed Hamriya Shopping Centre on Abu-Hail-Hor Al Anz (EastRoad, has created a major impact on the shopping scene, with even housewives allowed to put up stalls.He said local elderly women selling home made Arabic sweets, traditional medicine and handicrafts are a major attraction which draws up to 5,000 visitors.He noted that the municipality has also invited painters and other artists to display and sell their work.The market is open to all residents in the emirate of all nationalities to sell their products.Al Marri said the market is open from 3 pm to midnight, generating business in the range of Dh200,000 to Dh300,000.During Ramadan, it will be open on Thursdays and Fridays after Taraweeh prayer after Al Maghreb and will close at 3 am.The market has also increased the volume of business for traders at the Hamriya Shopping Centre, he said.Al Marri said municipal officials have allocated 25 stalls for ready made garments, six stalls for decorative items and plants, 42 for textile and related products, five stalls for carpets and 105 stalls for other products. Each stall measures two metres by one metre.He said anyone – people and companies – can register to sell products. People pay Dh10 and companies pay Dh50 to rent a stall. Stall holders have to make their counters as per specifications laid down by the municipality. No one other than the applicant will be allowed to run the stall.

Great atmosphere but aware about the prices. Feels like its cheaper but in reality its not .. but some items are cheap.

A market selling a variety of goods. Apart from the usual grocery items in Union coop, there are abayas, ice creams, perfume shops play area and a choice of resturanta/takeaways. Ample parking. In the summer one can park underground which many customers are unaware of. Has spacious masjid next to it. Gym facilities are also available. On Fridays there is an open market with stalls. Usually cheap products although quality can be an issue at times.

Its a full week market now, but still the name continues from its origin of starting - may be.An unlimited Verity of products from fruits, vegs, utensils, pets, petcages, crafts, tendercoconut drink, woven mats, carpets, flowers, plants, dry fruits, kitchen tools, barbeque materials, charcoal, clay pots, sovaniers, toys, fishing tools, the list is ssssssssssssss.......

A good place for middle class people to buy things like clothes, bedsheets, Soft hand electronic, shoes, slippers, and much more in affordable prise ...plus nice Arabic cuisine and free parking with MashaAllah masjid next to it. Not sure its open during covid19 . My family missed that place.

Whatever you need in daily usage of house hold things like clothes, carpets, electronics etc getting under a small area of market with affordable prices but only available on Friday. Emirati traditional foods and other optional foods are impressive more over gardening items pet animals are getting very cheaper than other shops.

Highly crowded place,... All the items are cheap and good. Its open only in the winter. I went there spent some time, didnt buy anything still Ive enquired about price and all these things.. still a good palce for budget oriented people

This is good place to buy daily household items like bed sheets. also if you want to buy cheap electronics some small mobile accessories you can get it. the only thing you need to be good is into negotiation in bargaining and also if you are coming by cars parking will be an issue. This is only open on Fridays and only during non summer time.

Good cheap things to buy. Parking is a problem, other than that its a fun place for family to shop for clothing, shoes, bags, and toys for kids.

A small permanent market that’s open every Friday from early morning until late selling new and fairly used clothes for men women and children. There’s Asian, Arabic and European style clothes, handbags, perfume, toys and bedding. Quite a variety and nothing is high end but you can find some bargains. This place gets quite busy and I’ve been there 2/3 times for cotton sheets that have lovely designs and fit the biggest of beds for an amazing price! Worth having a look around and located opposite Union Hypermarket you can always do your regular shopping afterwards!

An outdoor Market open on Friday in the month of Ramadan and Winter in the evening only. Stuff sold in this market are clothing, toys, Household (Bedroom items like Bed sheets, pillow sheets, curtains etc). Clothings, Toys carpets, Kitchen items are of medium quality, sold in low prices as compare to the market rates due to low shop rents.
