Fresh ’n Wild at Utopia in Windhoek

We had a Farewell celebration on a relaxing Saturday afternoon. The venue wir ample and sage parking was just perfect with small band playing on the background offering that tranquil feeling of life is beautiful. Light finger food was prepared for the event which wer absolutely delicious with a wide variety. Dogs are also allowed and a good environment for kids too. Perfect venue for bigger groups but also great when only two.

Service tops! Initially wanted to have a cup of coffee with a friend but end up enjoying refreshing rock Shandy, chicken wings and a Greek salad because I wanted something light. Also bought 2 for the prize of one pizzas🍕

The food was ok. Service was ok. The place could do with a bit of revamping.

Salad ingredients are crisp and fresh. Everything takes quite long, so dont go for a "quick" lunch.Various descriptions on menu might be slightly misleading ("roast" vegetables are in fact steamed etc)Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The venue is relaxing and offers a refreshing break from the city.

Nice and quiet restaurant in a garden away from the busy town. Welcoming and friendly staff, good food choices and a relaxing vibe.

This place is awesome. The service was always friendly and had recommandations. Which made our start in windhoek quite easy. This place is even a favourite of the locals. Therefore on a sunny day the garden is quite crowded and it is hard to get a table.The restaurant serves veggie courses as well as meaty versions. The latter include even game meat. The place can easily accessd by the a secret passageway from the Utopia Botique.

We ate dinner here and stopped here during lunch. Food was delicious and the place seems very busy also by locals. From the Utopia hotel there is a little direct hidden pathway behind the Pool.

Loved it, great food, lovely atmosphere and most importantly the service is top tier!!

We had breakfast and asked that coffee come WITH the meal, not beforehand. This didnt happen. We were almost 1/3 the way through our meal when it arrived, and then IN CRACKED COFFEE MUGS.The waitress was floored when we pointed it out but couldnt change the mugs either

The garden is great to have lunch, calm. The staff was really present and reactive for orders. The food got served after 20 minutes and was fresh and tasty. The meat is great

Amazing food, A-grade service. There was brilliant sunset scenery at the right time. The venue where our function was held was small, but cosy and made for great intimate conversation.

Waited 45 min for our food. The waitress actually told us a little white lie🤥. They did offer a drink on the house though, but there was no time taking that. Waitress/waitresses, be honest when asked certain questions. If you dont have the answer, say so.

I love this place. Its far from everything and has a very chilled atmosphere. The only problem is the bathroom cos there is no privacy between men and women.

Several items on menu were not available, breakfast took very long to prepare, food was very unevenly cooked and seasoned. Decent ingredients and fairly nice atmosphere.

Might be either new management or an intensive staff training program or both...as we experienced quality service with a personal touch when we celebrated our daughters Holy Communion at Fresh n Wild. Thank you very much for the extra effort you made...much appreciated! 👌

Good restaurant with good food. We took game meat and it was excellent. Nice wines. Tables outside are very agreable after a hot day.

Excellent value for money. Had the lasagna and salad for lunch and itvwS truly like home made. Most critical...I forgot my purse at the table. And the manager Ricky was the best!!!! Thanks Namibia for your beautiful honest and gentle staff. I shall always treasure that.

Atmosphere here is amazing, it’s quite and a great place for a work meeting. I love that they have fresh juice and their steaks are well prepared.

The experience was good so was the dining, setting.As for the service it was not the best when we got there, we initially had to wait for a while before receiving service but they did rectify that and the service did improve and everything went well. Nice place.

Lovely place, great environment.However I was extremly disappointed when I went there specifically to find out if we can host my sons birthday party there. I was just given a card and told to phone that person. I got home made the call and was told to just send an email. Up until date I have not received any feedback. Not even to tell me it wont be possible to accommodate us.

Great atmosphere and relaxing music. Sets a vibe really. The food is probably the best in Whk. Its expensive though but I get. Truly worth the extra dollar. Spoil yourselves

The place has a beautiful outdoor sitting area, had some delicious alcohol free cocktails.Carrot cake was a bit dry and not so tasty, but otherwise liked the atmosphere.

Awesome place. Attended a 16th birthday party and they really went out of their way to accommodate both the kids and adults.Will definitely recommend.

I had the worst experience this morning at this restaurant. I made a booking for my family of 5 at 10h00 and arrived early everything was ready. Unfortunately the service i got afterwards stinks. We ordered 4 meals that were all exactly the same and one different. 3 meals arrived without toast which took 10 minutes before brought to table. My meal and my son’s never pitched i waited after my family finished their breakfast to enquire(probably 20 min after they finish). I was surprise by the complaints by other people of same colour as I am. Cold coffee no food not served the white manager did not offer any apology she only removed the 2 meals not received. She didnt even talk to any of us whereas white people who came after us was served perfectly. SIES UTOPIA THIS IS LAST TIME I WILL VISIT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN.

Meal date: 11/1/21The setting is perfect for an outdoors, “dining in nature“ experience. The staff was friendly, welcoming and generally, nice.However, the food was highly disappointing. There were no strictly vegan options so I settled for vegetarian and opted for the hot pressed’ avocado, mozzarella and tomato sandwich with a side salad. It was the most insipid; flavourless meal I have had in a long time. The salad constituents were not properly served; there were brown, crusty spots on the tomatoes and the leafy greens had some wilting bits in there too.Overall a 3/5 because the staff was good and the setting is perfect for a getaway brunch.

Lovely ambiance with friendly staff.Food was very underwhelming, lacked basic technique and was bland with no seasoning.I ordered the cheese and tomato toast which was extremely hard and dry because the bread was stale, and they only added two slices of tomato, as well as the skin glow smoothie, they didn’t have half the ingredients to make it and failed to mention this, when it came it was very watery and icy, rather than smooth and creamy as a smoothie should be, when I asked about it they lied and I still had to pay 70rand for it.Less than pleasant experience.Would not recommend it.

Lovely place for healthy living and great breakfasts and lunches. The greenery of the garden is also a pleasant sight in an area more synonymous with arid landscapes. The portions are generous and food is well presented.

Lovely cosy place, the food is always amazing and tge customer service comes with a smile all the time. Absolute favorite for Sunday breakfast, can never go wrong with their breakfast pan. So much yummy food put into one bowl. You should give it a try next time you are in the area. Not forgetting the home made bread, i am not big on bread but this was delicious.

The atmosphere at this place is amazing and the locations is also amazing, went there on a busy night so i would understand why our food took longer after ordering. The service was good but waiters please inform customers about what is not available even though its on the menu so i make my choice accordance. The food was great i had the salmon

We had lunch there a week ago. The food took an incredibly long time to arrive and yet the place wasnt full. And then the food was a let down. I had a chicken quesadilla. Not sure what is happening there but the food used to be good. Our waitress was friendly, though at times I had to go to reception to order something because she wasnt around or paying attention to us. I still like sitting outside by the lawn. It can be relaxing.

What a nice and friendly atmosphere! The staff is absolutely kind and courteous. We tried the Kudu and loved the taste. We get free wifi. We enjoyed or stay there with all our senses. We definitely want to come back!

Hands down the best breakfast, the best service and a great price price. Staff are super friendly, helpful and attentive. Just like me, youll certainly have to go back and try more of their fantastic food!

Had a great time with friends. The garden offers a very sweet, cozy and romantic setting, ideal for couple dates. The service was a bit slow, the food was good and reasonably priced. Would recommend it for either romantic dates or group outing.

Very quiet reserved setting with a crackling warm fire with a rustic interior. The cool garden with open nights sky and candle light tables provides a romantic setting. The staff members ever so friendly and attentive. I hear the owner makes a mean chillie sauce.

Nice open dining area. Service could be better. Nice rustic flare to it. Good toilets. Good food and wine choice. Parking area not well lit at night. Security closed exit gate and one was forced to use entrance gate..quite annoying, as i had to reverse to let people come in and that i could eventually leave.

Very nice outdoor atmosphere. A fan to help customers keep cool would have bumped this review up to 4 stars.

We always love coming here with our toddler. There is enough space for her to run around, and the staff are so relaxed about having a small child around. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and do try going the extra mile.And well done on banning plastic straws at your restaurant!

Great selection of food. The environment is peaceful and the staff helpful. They offer great specials and some of them are not on the menu. For a quick business meeting or just catching up with friends this is the best place. Their outside sitting area around the grass is refreshing. In a group of 6 or more people, please do note that there is a 10% tip calculated into the final bill.

Place is very pleasant. Service is nice and sympathetic. Some days of the week they have and offer where you buy one pizza and get another one for free. I know Wednesday is like that. Their Pizzas are just ok though...
