Just great experience here for solo or group travelers. Friendly staff. And John was just the personification of the hostels name. Good location.

Lovely and chill place to stay. Rooms are big enough and offer lockers to store luggage. The common area is a great spot to relax and socialise. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Hostel is close to the beach with tons of bars/restaurants to choose from. Every Wednesday its Pasta night with live music. Would definitely come back here. Salamat!

Definitely one of the best places to stay in Boracay. The staff are superb. Special mention to Greg who has been very helpful and accommodating. Billiards table and pool were great amenities included in this hotel that made our stay even better. Highly recommended!

Is there 10 stars or infinity stars?Our stay in Frendz Resort & Hostel Boracay is so amazing!! I feel like I am still at home. The staff are all accommodating and even the guests. To be honest, Frendz is one of the reason why I want to go back at Boracay. Oh! kudos to our singer chef, the foods are so delicious, hands up with your Adobo chef ahaha and the cocktails drinks are so amazing.Pasta night is one of the event that I enjoyed the most, you can see that all are enjoying even though we are from different countries.

Kudos! Highly recommended to all tourist who will go to Boracay. Located at the Station 2 and Frendz will never fail to amaze you from simple and chill vibes, friendly staff, delicious food and drinks. Though the pool is currently under maintenance but it doesnt matter because what matters the most is the remarkable experience during your stay. Good job Frendz! Will go back again 😄🙏PS: I loved the billiards section even though Im not good on playing it. Hahahaha

IF YOUR A FILIPINO and want a party? HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED the tall GUARD and the Bartender with tattoos  on duty last may 15, 2022 around 10-11 pm very rude, crizism on fellow  filipino the treatment is very poor even if you pay the same fee with the foreigner.  We stayed at dorm 15 for girls, one of my foreign roommates brought 4 boys  inside and damaged the front door but was not reprimanded, but we Filipinos only talked in a low voice outside the room. the guard shouted on as. but some staff are friendly, only the guard and the bartender with tattoos are not biased.

Pros: affordable, breakfast was good, there’s AC.However, there were gnats or flies everywhere when we woke up, all in our bed and flying around in our faces. no one bothered to help out or cared.

Good food and amazing staff. Great location just meters away from the front beach and to dmall.If you are planning to stay in Boracay. I highly recommend this Hostel.Its good for group and solo backpackers. Hope to come back again since I didnt enjoy much the trip because of the bad weather.

We had a double bed private room and was nice. We had some strange insects getting into the room which was annoying. Its all about location for this hostel.The breakfast is very average, just stuck with the scrambled eggs on toast

No wonder theyre the number one hostel. Everything was good during my stay. They havent returned to 100% yet but I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was really friendly and the place just gives you good vibes. Good Coffee early in the morning and good clean dorm rooms with super cold Aircon.

Budget friendly hostel. Big rooms and friendly staff. Very accomodating and caring staff nila. If you are picky this is not suitable for you, kinda old ambiance and small insects crawling inside room at night maybe because its surrounded of plants. Its a good hostel to stay in. Good people, nice service. Budget stay, very near to the beach. Has a lot of restaurants near by. Had a pool table for people staying there to enjoy.

Its been 6 month since our first time in boracay and this place is so perfect for a backpackers,place is just a min away to the beach,restaurants coffee shops and like everything specially at night time.Staff is very friendly place is clean and when we are going back to boracay again were still going to stay in this hostel.Keep up the good work Frendz Staff and management. 👍👍👍

Definitely the best hostel to stay at in Boracay! The staff are friendly, the fellow guests are fun, and the vibe is awesome! It’s a good mix between the crazy party scene of Mad Monkey and the more low-key vibes of other places in the area. Do yourself a favor and stay at Frendz! You won’t regret it!

You want a cool, clean, affordable and hospitable accommodation? Frendz Resort and Hostel wont fail you. They have friendly and accommodating staff, and they will always give you a great time. Absolutely loved this hostel. They clean the dorms everyday. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They put live music on at nights. Do food and drinks. Have a pool. Nice social area and great way to meet people. Amazing

Me and my girlfriend were only able to stay here for 2 nights in the end due to a storm haulting our travel.However, the staff here are what makes the hotel amazing. They are so friendly and accommodating and they will stop at any opportunity to learn your name, speak with you and get involved in your card games.I really do have to applaud the staff and how helpful they are. And Marvin- not all heroes wear capes!!

Excellent and friendly staff. Free welcome drinks upon arrival. Clean room, wifi, 2-minute walking distance from the beach and near restaurants. Free pasta during thursdays and sundays. Definitely recommended. We enjoyed our stay in this hostel!

Accommodating staff, good food, ok wifi, clean rooms. Although I must say, some our room needs a little bit of renovation. Would also be nice if the curtains were thicker and longer. Bring an extra pair of indoor slippers and also toiletries because theyre not provided. I would also need to borrow their brooms due to sand accumulating in our rooms. Overall, this hostel still deserves 5 stars

Spent a couple nights at Frendz and can only join the other good reviews. Its a pretty cool and comfortable hostel with a great vibe. Reception service is friendly and very helpful, staff always has a smile for you and rooms are nice and clean. Aircon and wifi work well, beds are made from wood and very comfortable. We stayed in the Casa 4 Bed Mixed Dorm and had a bathroom in the room, which was great. Beds had a little rack, a lamp and two plugs each, which is great. Bathroom could use a bit more shelving space or hooks, same goes for the room. There was a big wooden locker for each, bring your own padlock.The restaurant food is good, there are supermarkets and heaps of other shops and food places around. Bar regularly has happy hours in the evening and every day, theres something else in the evening. Pasta nights (free chicken or veggie pastaseem to be most popular, they also have BBQ night, a DJ once per week with karaoke or Taco night. But you can also just sit and chat and relax. Theres a swimming pool, a fresh water shower and space outside the dorms to dry your beach stuff. Not even 2min walking to the beach. At arrival, we got one drink for free. Very recommendable!

This is not a beach side place, its in an alley way thats about 2mins walk from the beach. They have duplex type lodgings made to look like a nipa hut, the private rooms have a TV, fridge and wardrobe. Great night vibe, their bar is amazing, the food isnt half bad and the staff are super nice. Not as modern as the hotels around but perfect for meeting new people (lots of intl. backpackers hereand if youre into the rustic feel.

This hostel is one of the factors why I enjoyed my first visit to Boracay!They got a big facility -- several hostel rooms, superb common bathrooms, a bar, pool table, a small library, a big dining area, a swimming pool. The crew members are very accommodating, they waited for us til after midnight on our check-in.The hostel also hosts different themes of party every night. We experienced the Pasta Night where you get 1 free plate of pasta for dinner while the bar is on happy hour til 8 or 9PM depending on the event. That same night there was a dedicated and fun host, and great music.Highly recommended!

Me and my mates stayed here for 3 nights and it was hands down one of my best stay at a hostel. Staff are incredibly friendly, rooms are incredibly clean and prices are quite reasonable! They have free pasta nights with live band music followed by a DJ. They also have some good EDM choices too.They are also located conveniently and it’s just a 2-5 min walk to the beach as well as a 7-11.If you’re keen to visit Boracay I defo recommend staying with these guys.

Really nice hostel with amazing staff! They have free pasta nights and really good BBQ nights aswell. If you have a chance to go on their jungle trip, do it! You wont be disappointed.

I loved my stay here. I met really great people. They have free dinners/parties twice a week. The staff is super friendly here. Its very safe. Its not very far at all from the beach, the highway and DMall.

This hostel has a good balance of everything. Under a large canopy to socialize you can find everything within an arms reach. The bar ,pool table, pool, restaurant and music keep the fun going. I give credit to the hard working staff.

Probably my favourite hostel in the whole of the Philippines. Private room was massive,hot water,AC and pretty cheap for Boracay. Best bar staff by a mile! Shout out to JD thon Steve Greg & robin plus all the other staff. They will have a drink and make your night. Also food here is good we had free pasta one night and 70peso tacos one night. 10 stars!!

The hostel and the bar is a great place to hang out, play pool and meeting friends. Food is pretty good too. They give free pasta to guests on wednesdays and sundays and the program is really fun! One thing I wasnt so keen om though was since the design is native, its made mostly of wood so when you are sleeping, the boards and floor creaks a lot and there is no soundproofing so if you are a light sleeper like I am, you may find yourself waking up unnecessarily. The staff was great though!

Hot bartenders Steve and his two companions oh my God for eye candy! Family owned and these boys tend to business. They engage with customers and make the evening which started in early afternoon one to remember. Strike up a conversation and dont be shy they will talked about anything seriously. I love this place because no matter whats on your mind they make you feel right at home.

Frendz Hostel is awesome and we really loved our days there. The place, the people, the drinks, the food :))The atmosphere of the hostel is really good, if you like to interact with new people and make some friends for life, this is probably the place to be in Boracay.There is a big common area with a swimming pool on the side, the restaurant and bar are pretty much open all day long. Food and drinks have a decent price and the guests just keep staying there with happy hour, DJs playing, live music... They even have a free pasta night every wednesday and sunday (and its really good!). There is always something happening in Frendz.The staff is awesome and really dedicated to everybody having a good time, in one or two days you are already feeling like home with them. I got to know some guests who are coming back for the fifth time.It has a good location too, close to the best bars of White Beach. I dont know one bad thing to say about it actually... just a great place with great people who really wants you to have a good time and enjoy seeing that you do.

Great atmosphere and a party hostel. Always something going on at night and offer activities during daytime. All the staff are friendly, has great selection of breakfast food, walking distance to the beach. They offer beach chair & umbrella rental.

Really liked this place - great aircon, spacious room for 4 people and good wifi in the room. Hot shower too. Didnt get the chance to try the pool but the bar was good with friendly staff. The best bit was when the guy who checked us in at reception saw us on a night out in a club and jokingly said he would slit the throat of our friend in his sleep - we didnt like that friend anyway.

Really great hostel for meeting new people! The staff are friendly, and the events are fun. Pasta night and the DJ and name that tune game with a prize of free shots made for an awesome night! The breakfast food is also AMAZING. The "native-style" dorm rooms are awesome, but I had to take of a star for the room in the adjacent house Casamso I stayed in. The a/c was weak, the beds were weirdly set up in what were almost like cupboards, and it was always uncomfortably humid and smelled horribly damp in there, to the extent that my friends would wait outside the room for me to avoid the smell... Make sure to book in one of the main rooms instead if you can!

Wed and Sunday Pasta night was really fun and really entertaining GO!!!!!All the staff are really super friendly and helpful. I was sitting outside on my own having a cigarette and staff came over and chatted and even asked if I wanted to be introduced to other backpackers, most of the staff introduce themselves, just a nice little touch to the experince.The rooms really nice thatched look and the toilets are a nice size and cleaned daily, 1 problem you can smell the sewage in the bathrooms.Ive been travelling for over 2 years and it is 1 of the best hostels Ive ever stayed in!!!!!

This had to be the best hostel Ive stayed at in a while for these main reasons.1. They accepted debt/credit card for everything (rooms, food, drinksand didnt charge until you leave like a regular hotel.2. Which should be #1 was the customer service. The ladies and gentlemen at the front and bar were really friendly and made it a point to remember your name.3. They have free beach chairs and are a 3 mins walk to the beautiful beach area.4. They set up events every night. Some nights for food some for parties... And that brings me to one thing that might be an issue for some but not others and its not really controlled by the hostel but more for the people staying.IT IS A PARTY HOSTEL.if you are there for a good relaxing night sleep I would probably not stay here. To each his/her own but they do play music until 11pm which is 100% reasonable but its the people staying there who are loud and can get a bit crazy. The place is really good and is packed solid so we didnt get a private room but if you get the chance....go private!Also the food is great and reasonably priced to other restaurants near by. Alcohol is almost if not cheaper then the stores which is strange to me but amazing at the same time. Just know why your going here and enjoy. They set up boat parties all the time and was really fun.

Great hostel. Very good location and the staff were excellent! The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. Only gripe is the shower in our room had nowhere to hang or put dry clothes or towels, which is a bit awkward in a mixed dorm

A hidden gem in Station 1 as its a great place to stay at. Located just a short walk both from the beach and the main town road, its hard to beat for its value for money and overall warmth and service from their staff. You also get to meet a lot of fellow travelers in the hostel and they do regular activities to allow their guests to mingle more like free pasta nights and part boat trips. Stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it!

It may look shabby on the front but once you enter, it will greet you with a rocky path and green plants on the side and the rooms on the other side. But what is best is when you arrive to the reception. Frendz will surely greet you like a friend indeed. The staffs are awesome. Youll be amazed that they would know your name. If youre looking for a place to stay in Bora, Frendz is a place you should stay in. Its best if youre interested in meeting new friends of different races and nationality. They offer events where you can mingle with other people who are staying in the hostel. The last visit we had there was a new offer, the boat trip, which includes island hopping, cliff jumping, snorkeling, food and unlimited local booze. Which was one of the highlight of our trip. Food is good. But the best thing you can bring home is the experience and the hospitality of the staffs. You wont regret it!

Fun and social youth hostel. Very good location very near the beach. Large common area with weekly social nights. Only issue was only a couple of bathrooms to share in the lower-class dorms, could have been cleaner. Fully equipped bar and kitchen. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Excellent hostel and great price! Stayed for a couple of nights and I will definitely come back. The food they serve are really good I feel like Im eating at a 5star restaurant! The staff are great and special mention to Jeff and Jona! The owner will definitely drop by and personally meet every guests, thats guaranteed! Excellent!
