Amazing place to eat during the summer, cheap food and tastes amazing!

Fresh and great portions. The price is right for what you get. You can tell that the fryer oil is clean and changed regularly. The fries were a perfect golden brown. Staff are all young and friendly. Sweet kids who you can really tell love their summer jobs.

Great beach food

This place is a gem. The have truly reasonable prices and quality food (not like competitors that have mediocre food and sky-high prices). I strongly recommend stopping by for lunch!

The nostalgia is better than the food. Its always fun to go to the stand when youre at the beach. Grab a poutine and bring it back to the beach. Love it.

Last 5 times I went there the employees were too young to think let alone work. Food sucks for the last 5 years or so too.

Expensive and not all that great. Ok for a quick fix but nothing worth writing home about.

We love Frenchs stand! A lot of nostalgia for me... my home town and I have been going to Frenchs stand for as long as I can remember...

Went there today because of reviews. Would not go back. Fries were extremely dried out like sitting under a heat lamp all day , cheese curds were cold and gravy was not that warm.Burger tasted like a frozen patty and was over charred. Very disappointed

says open at 2 am, drove far to get and it was not open

Hot dogs have a smokey flavour and are very hearty. The fries were great. The poutine looked amazing but didnt try it.

If I could I would give a 0 star. An hour wait after ordering a cheese dog which they did not have and suggested sausage instead. After 1 hour still did not get anything even though ppl were ordering after us and left. When they finally brought that sausage to the window and the girl was about to give it us other girl came and give to other ppl because their food was ready and apparently they had sausage too. So disappointed. Did not eat and waited for one hour to get explanation that they just opened this weekend.

Best freaking fries Ive ever had!!!! Cant be beat. Awesome staff, great location. Parking is sometimes hard to fine. But seriously so worth your time.

Every year I start the summer off with a milk shake and end every season off with a milk shake. And I drive from Oakville to get it. 🙂

The Students that work there are the most friendly people i jave ever met. The owners keep the place clean from head to toe they are very friendly as well the wife Carol works very hard and is a beautiful person inside and outside.

The burger toppings were good. Loved that they offered fried onions. The patty was average frozen patty. Would love to see this place offer fresh patties and fresh cut fries.

We expected hand cut fries and battered fish, but we got what seemed like fish from a box and fries from a bag. Disappointed to say the least.

Fabulous place. Friendly staff and hands down the best burger I’ve ever eaten. So good in fact that we went back the next day for more.

Well...we stopped at Frenches for an order of fires and a cola !!!! Costs us $5.75 and it took us approx. 20 minutes to get the order and the fries are on a paper plate thingie, not boxes as previously was the case and it was patheticely short in size, half of last years and was not hot as expected. Im not sure who is running it this year but I can tell you we are not stopping there anymore! Who waits 20 minutes for simple order of fries for crying out load !!!! I was wonder what visitors from out of town 5hink of Orillia after going there for something to eat. The people running it this year should be ashamed !!!!

Older then I ever will be. Great place to stop while going for a walk in the park.

Hamburgers and milkshakes done the old way! Super thick and creamy milkshakes and fluffy hamburger buns w/ sweet and tangy relish. The fries were fried to crispiness. I wish they had little cups for me to put some ketchup in though. Really good to come here and have a picnic at one of the tables under the trees by Lake Couch.

The atmosphere was lovely, but my pregnant wife was given a sausage that was uncooked in the center.... Cold. But at least the weather was nice.

Great place to get a drink or something to eat while docked in Orillia! This place has been there forever it seems!!
