6/5 if i could, great place to relax with food or drinks!

The owner Toni was very open and communicative and as the view to the beach is lovely, it also has a wonderful atmosphere. The food was good and we also loved the cocktails.

We had the best, most relaxing evening at freedom beach bar. It has an amazing view of the beach, the staff are really friendly and helpful and we had a lovely meal. We just didn’t want to leave! The best part is the hippy, glowey design of the place, with everything being made of wood and items found from the sea! 10/10. P.S. the shakes work!

Great stop in Koh Lanta. Margaritas were delicious and the vibe very chill.

Amazing view, relaxed venue... Spent a few days of our holiday at Freedom Bar, the food is delicious, We tried the lasagna and spaghetti bolognaise. The owner Tony and his family and staff are really friendly and welcoming. 420 friendly. Things are reasonably priced. Highly recommend this bar.

Amazing experience here. Was in ko lanta for 4 days and consistently came 2-3 times every day. The people were so lovely and welcoming and the best part ( for my girlfriendwas they had kittens and allowed us to have them chill with us for the evening. Wasn’t too expensive and the view onto the beach was beautiful. Will 100% be back one day

Freedom bar and restaurant are one of the most chilled out places in the world that I have ever experienced, the staff are so kind and the food is top notch. Surrounded by natural beauty the beach and people are so welcoming.

Re opening again but so quiet because , tourist not come to lanta now

Such a chill little spot with a nice owner and all around great vibes! I wish we had stayed longer on the island purely to enjoy a place like this! It’s a tough year to have a business but this place kept it alive on the island when most other places decided to close! Go happy hour prices and reggae friendly ;). Sunset view is also great from here! I wish I got more pictures but this cute resident chiller is all I’ve got.

Cool place to hangout the owner was very upfront with me about why they didnt have any "happy shakes "and I really appreciated that over him selling me some bunk garbage passed off as shroom shakes. Didnt buy a spliff because I dont do tobacco and theirs is a "blend"We ended up buying something down the road but came back to enjoy ourselves at freedom bar for their fire show and some really good food! Thanks for being a gem freedom bar, we ❤ you!

I visted during the day time and sunset. ( which is incredible from this bar )Reggae style large wooden beach bar. Great decor, music, staff and atmosphere.Great swimming in turquoise waters infront of the beach bar. Serves food and drinks. Wouldnt recommend for child.

Went with my friends who bought a happy mushroom shake, which was basically a banana shake because it did nothing to them. When they went to tell them, the long haired man at the bar who sold it to them started yelling when they told him it hadnt done anything after hours. I witnessed it and thought he was super rude, almost violent. Dont recommend this place at all!

Great spot to chill out, listen to the music and the wave and just let life pass by. Lots on the menu, come check it out. I dont think these bars have food so get food on the main road before you visit these beach bars.

Stayed at the Riviera and this bar is connected to the Riviera or just off of. Vibe here is very cool and relaxed. Great place to chill and be one with the water

A great place to have some beers and just relax. Also the adjoining restaurant has very good food. I had several meals there and they were all great. The beach in front is very nice and the sunsets are fantastic. The cool breeze from the bay is always a bonus.

Went to the beach party as a family. Went to the bar to order two coconut shakes for me and my son and was laughed at. Asking if we wanted milk shakes and both bar men thinking it was hilarious. I was sent to the restaurant which was closed, then back to the bar then told if I did not want to drink alcohol I should get my drink from the local shop up the road.Asked at the small outdoor reception if there was anywhere to get a non alcoholic drink from and they told me they have coke by the glass at the bar... if this was the case they weren’t serving it meReception guy admitted the bar staff could be quite difficult and said I should go to the local shop!So we left and bought drinks elsewhere.If you wanna get drunk this is the place for you, if you can’t or won’t drink alcohol you’re treated like a leper, even if you’re underage.Felt I was treated like a 6 year old. Will never return!

Loved this place. Chilled vibe, friendly people of all ages. Staff were fun and quick service. Pool tables and fire shows to keep people entertained. Gutted I didn’t go earlier in my stay as I only got to visit once. I would go back.

The workers here are as good as the drinks refreshing and a nice way to chill. My favorite place to watch the sunset for all the nights we stayed therr. They have a pool table and you can get a happy shake or bucket. Their music was spot on hits that I knew or was able to relax to. You have to have to use the bathroom here! Feels like an adorable jungle tropical paradise.

Cool place! Saturday is the night it happens. Dance floor is too small though and drinks are expensive. 100 baht for a small beer. But still great fun lots of pool tables . Foreigners etc . Watch your change however, my one friend got short changed

One of the coolest beachfront bars Ive been to.. Totally laid back, funky, eclectic decor and just amazing views straight out to the ocean.. Lay back in one of the many hammocks and enjoy an ice cold beer,cocktail and yummy food.. Just love this spot..

Im mainly giving this 5 stars for the fire show which was incredible! The bar itself is really cool too though, a lot of customised decoration going on and the staff are welcoming. One of the busier places on the beach when we visited in mid October. Reggae, dancehall and funky music playing, with views out to the ocean and some pool tables and tattoo parlour to one side.

Great place with lights and paint and tattoos next to the bar. We painted each other while drinking and sitting in the very comfortable lounge. It was fun! Good music too

Bob Marley vibes here. This place is right on the beach. The water even touches the base when high tides.Good and happy music, Bob Marley colors, neon lights, pool table, TV for sports, cozy seating arrangements, in short, a perfect place for a party on the island.Cant say anything about the food, just had a couple of drinks here on the night of black moon party.

This was the very first place that I got to visit upon arriving in Koh Lanta.The vibe there is very hippie and the people there are very friendly. The restaurant right next door has a great selection of food periodBe sure to try out the fresh fried spring rolls

Best place! We went here many nights in a row because the staff was very nice and the music and drinks were good. The bar is located on the beach, so we sat and watched the sunset from the bar which was really nice. They also have free pooltables! Highly recommend!
